• Simon (10/5): Exceptional on all counts. - Exceptional hotel which exceeded our expectations. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy in the property’s own car park. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and very fresh. Maybe a small kettle in the room would be useful.

• Katja (9/5): Absolut zu empfehlen - Super freundlicher Empfang! Essensunverträglichkeiten wurden abends beim ankommen mitgeteilt und zum Frühstück extra zubereitet. Vielen lieben Dank dafür Das ich beruflich leider nur eine Nacht hier sein konnte!
• Reinhard (10/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt im Altstadthotel Garni - Das Altstadthotel Garni ist ein gemütliches kleines Hotel mitten in der Altstadt. Es herrscht eine angenehme familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Personal bzw. die Besitzer sind total nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum ist hübsch und gemütlich. Ganz nebenbei kann man dort sogar noch schöne Dekoartikel kaufen, die im Frühstücksraum ausgestellt sind. Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal im Garni und werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

• Joachim (10/5): Sehr nettes und gut geführtes Hotel - Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm und es war angenehm ruhig Man konnte sich richtig erholen ! Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Der Chef fragte mich auch ob ich Rühreier oder Spiegelei wollte und er bereitet es sofort frisch zu Werden auf jedenfalls wieder kommen Ich kann mit ruhigen Gewissen das Hotel Garni nur weiter empfehlen An dem Waschbecken könnte etwas Seife stehen

• Katrin (10/5): - Sehr gemütliches kleines, familiär geführtes Hotel. Wir wurden abends herzlich empfangen, das Zimmer war modern, riesig, einfach schön. Dass der Frühstücksraum in den Verkaufsraum für Porzellan, Geschenkartikel u.a. integriert ist - einfach einmalig, lustig. Frühstück sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe des Marktplatzes, Restaurants gab es in der Nähe, parken vorm Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

• Marina (9/5): - Zentrale Lage, nettes Personal. Frühstück war ebenso top. Der Frühstückraum (Ladengeschäft) ist schon etwas besonders. Da kann man gleich noch was erwerben. Wir fanden es toll.

• Gerjet (8/5): Sehr netter Aufenthalt - Zentral in der Altstadt, sehr nette Betreiber, sehr gutes Frühstück im Verkaufsraum des hübschen Geschäftes, so dass man noch in Ruhe einkaufen konnte. Zimmer wunderbar ruhig. Die zwei an verschiedenen Stellen des Zimmers stehenden Einzelbetten. Die Kopfkissen waren sehr unbequem.
• Silvio (10/5): Sehr schönes Erlebnis! - Sehr schönes Hotel mit supernetten Gastgebern. Das Frühstück war Wahnsinn und die Atmosphäre im Laden außergewöhnlich schön. Auf dem Gang waren reichlich Getränke im Kühlschrank und auf den Zimmern Snacks zu einem fairen Preis. Wenn sich wieder die Gelegenheit ergibt werden wir auf jeden Fall hier übernachten. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!!!! Da gibt es tatsächlich nichts!!!

Das Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber.Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich. Es gab nichts was uns garnicht gefiel.Einen Vorschlag hätten wir. Eine Kaffemaschine zusätzlich zur Kaltgetränkestation wäre wünschenswert.

• Franziska (10/5): Empfehlenswert! - - Nettes Personal - Tolles Frühstück, richtig frisch - Zimmer geräumig und sauber 😊 Wenn man ganz pingelig sein möchte, dann würden wir sagen zu kleine Duschkabine und Kaffeemaschine am Zimmer wäre nicht schlecht. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. 😅

• Heinz (10/5): Einfach gut. - Das Frühstück war sehr gut, alles frisch und vollkommen ausreichend. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Die Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet. Der Früstücksraum außergewöhnlich und interessant. Tolles Konzept mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist sehr schön und trotzdem ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants und Cafés in unmittelbarer Nähe.Würde ich immer wieder buchen. Es gibt nichts negatives!

• Rosemarie (7/5): Es war eine schöne Zeit. - Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage in der Stadt war auch sehr gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Das Problem war das Zimmer im dritten Stock. War vorher nicht bekannt.

• Barnes (9/5): Superb - Charming family run B&B. We arrived late in the afternoon, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfast, usual continental fare, and freshly cooked eggs on request. It was very hot when we travelled. There is no air con, but fans are provided.
• Yelyzaveta (9/5): Superb - This is a very centrally located family run hotel. Very nice Lady that runs the hotel helped us with parking and everything we might have needed. Very nice breakfast in the morning, cold drinks, local wine and some snacks available to purchase. That was very usefull while we stayed on Sunday - when nothing works in Germany. Also as we left, we forgot my husbands' jacket with the mobile phone in it. Very greatfull to the hotel stuff that found it and called us so we could return and pick it up. Thank you for everything.

• Gigi (9/5): Charming, clean, comfy - we'd be back! - Clean and comfortable small hotel, easy to walk to downtown sites. The owner, friendly and efficient, takes care with many thoughtful practical touches, and decor that goes for homey charm vs. modern sterile. Breakfast was tasty and abundant and we enjoyed our stay. There are some parking spaces in a little courtyard/lot behind the hotel--even that had garden touches to pretty the place up. Our room looked out over this courtyard/lot and others' backyards and was nice & quiet except for some cheery birdsong. No complaints! We were very happy there. If it would have been hot weather we might have craved AC vs relying on the window. As is customary in Germany, the window had no screen, but rather sheers. This worked fine for our stay.

The shop on the ground floor has interesting local toy figures. The hotel is located in the old town, but there is a large municipal parking lot nearby. nothing

Next time I pass by Grimma I would definitely stay again in this hotel. All good. Nothing to complain. Keep in mind that it's small, but cozy hotel.

I liked it, but for feedback could be said that shower cabinet is small, and parking by the hotel only 4 spaces, but there is a big free parkinglot only 100 m from the hotel.
