Proprietaria gentile.
- tania (10/5): Straordinario - Ottima posizione.

- Янева (1/5): Bad - The location only It was soo small, in the bathroom was so hot and THE THING THAT WAS THE WORST OF ALL THE AIR CONDITIONER WASNT WORKING!!!!
- Farida (1/5): find somewhere else to book - Nothing, since the place was impossible to find. i hope this saves other people.
if you can speak italian, its better to contact them via whatsapp. not very professional but I tried all every way to contact them. if you cant speak italian, use google translate and good luck on getting a response. The staff could not be contacted. They kept dropping the call as soon as they hear a hello because they couldnt understand or speak english.. they were not co-operative when asked to give directions of how to find the place. customer service also attempted to contacted them several times. Really poor communication which is disappointing. Not sure if this is a real place. look at the other reviews. Dont make the mistake I did especially if you have a late flight.
- Kateřina (5/5): Passable - It's close to the city centre The room was really small and old, not very clean. Fridge was extremely loud. Before arrival we didn't get any information for self check-in and when we got it afterwards it was only in Italian, that's not such a problem, we translated it but the key that should have been in the box wasn't there. So we had to give the mobile to the bar staff opposite the accommodation to communicate the problem with the owner and then wait for him to arrive with the key. There was a toilet seat on a chair in the bedroom and garden furniture to sit inside.
- Kassimatis (7/5): If you visit napoli come to Melissa.toledo 2 to stay - The best was the location
Near to everything we needed to see I didn't like that nobody speaks English so we couldn't communicate about anything
And the garbage all over and in the entrance of our room
- Yunus (7/5): Good -
- Stefi (2/5): annoying, rude host and heavy smell of paint - The location was alright. When we arrive at the apartment at first the host said we can check in at 12:00, then she postponed us until 14:00, after that she postponed us one more time until 16:00. Meanwhile we asked her to leave our luggage there at least because it was heavily raining. When we went to leave our bags, the room was under renovations. The shower was not working, the wall was being repaired and everywhere around there was a heavy smell of paint. They were painting it while we were there, including the balcony. The small was too strong and toxic to be able to sleep there. The host refused to give us any refund.
- Denisa (6/5): Pleasant - Location is fine Difficult to find the apartment, not even marked the door inside of building. No proper towels. Very basic.
- Emily (1/5): would not stay again, not worth the money or trouble - there was a fridge, it had aircon and it was round the corner from some nice restaurants it wasn’t clearly marked and was not easy to find, the room was down some of the tightest windiest streets i’ve ever seen so would not recommend staying if you’ve hired a car (as far as i can see the tight streets were not mentioned in the room description), the parking IS NOT private parking, it is a separate entity that is round the corner from the room, again not easy to find and is €25 per day, the host does not speak a single word of english (which is fine as we are in italy) but not even basic hello and good bye etc which was a barrier, the shower head was covered in the previous persons/people’s hair, the towels were extremely old and were no where near large enough for someone to wrap around and dry themselves, closest size would be a large dish towel. as i’ve seen previous people mention, although it’s stated they have an electric kettle, there is not one in the room as of 25/06/2023. We had to cut our stay early due to a family emergency, we left our city tax for the night we stayed (as it says to on the door of the room), and let the host know via whatsapp that we left early and the circumstances for this, she then sent a follow up message chasing us for the remainder of the city tax, even though we hadn’t stayed there for the duration, there was no condolences offered in any regard, just chasing of money.
- Viktoria (7/5): Good - very good location. there are many restaurants nearby. there is a subway the smell of paint is very unpleasant. small room. the mattress is very soft and uncomfortable. the pillows are also uncomfortable. You can hear all the sounds from the street until late at night. I advise you to take earplugs.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable - It is close to the city center There is to much light into the room in the night through the curtains. The bed is very soft.
- Šarić (9/5): Superb -
- Kay (10/5): great experience and fantastic apartment. would definitely stay again. everything you need on your door step - the location was perfect. a nightmare when we first arrived to find it but once we had located it and got our bearings it was fantastic the key to open the initial door. you had to get the correct point of the key to get the lock to work.
- Dan (10/5): 2 Days in Napoli - Located on a quiet street just meters of the main zone of Napoli. Really comfortable and you got everything you needed at a really fair price. Nothing to actually mention.
- Chuka (8/5): Very good -
- Marianela160 (8/5): Good place - The location was perfect, just in the center of Quartieri Spagnoli. The room is comfortable and with space. The shower was not the best but the host was lovely.
- Alexandra (9/5): Fantastic accommodation in a great location - It was clean and tidy and the host and location were great The sink in the bathroom emitted a sewerage type smell, but this could just be the drain system in the area
- Martina (6/5): I would recommend you to stay in the other apartment of Melissa a Toledo. it’s way much better. - The location is good Some of the facilities were old and the room was not very clean. The hairdryer wasn’t working.
- Olivia (8/5): Good location, no complaints really. - location and price lack of towels
- Rod (7/5): Great location in the most interesting part of the city - Location was superb
- Devanshu (3/5): Nightmare - I am not sure how this property has 8+ rating.
Please read this review before booking so as to know what to expect and hopefully this helps you navigate your way around.
Good - Located in Spanish quarters Communication - Informed the host (multiple times) we would be arriving at 10:30PM. Rather than telling us any check-in info, the only reply we got was ‘OK’. Google map location isnt correct and is actually down the slope a bit. The entrance to the building is a green metal door. No sign of the B&B anywhere outside the property. Had a lot of trouble finding the right building at 10:30 in the night. The host should put up atleast a small sign on the door or balcony! When we finally found the building, we went up to the first floor. Its a White Metal door and on knocking nobody answered. We called the host at this point (10:45) but she doesn't speak a single word of English and couldn't understand us despite pre-informing of the check-in time. Luckily a passing stranger was able to tell her in Italian we were asked to wait for 10 mins. The host arrived at 11pm with a bag full of toiletries and towels and checked us in. The room is as per the images. She accidentally dropped the fresh towels in the bidet (the pot where bums are washed after using the toilet) and then pretended as if nothing happened and expected us to use the same towels. We asked for fresh towels (using google translate) and she said ‘ok’ but didn't provide any and just left.
No bath towels provided, just some tattered bathrobes which looked older than Naples old town. (see pics).
There is no kettle or cups available.
The fridge is very noisy and makes weird noises. Had to be unplugged so we could sleep.
The curtains are so thin that they dont block the street light at all. The bed mattress is really old.
The street itself is very noisy and the room is not soundproof.
Shower is broken, the knob to use the hand shower doesn't work. Hot water only available for one shower and turned cold both days when partner went in.
Toiletries provided were empty.
Keys - hard to make them work. Building entrance, insert key and pull it out slightly to unlock.
- Edina (3/5): Poor - nothing The owner doesn't speak english. There was no electric kettle.Owner said the last guest burned it.Why doesn' t she buy a new one? It cost some Euro.We spent 3 nights in the apartman and 2 nights there was NO internet conection. The owner just said " use the password" every times we noted there is No internet. For the last day after we wrote her a lot of time she repaired it.The street is very loud we couldn't sleep. The curtain is completely see-through, so the light from the street comes in the room at night. The towels were smelly.
