Guest Reviews
- Justin (10/5): Whether you’re a wine lover or just after a great escape don’t look past ‘The Zin Loft’! - Lovely spot over looking the vineyard, very peaceful and the loft was very cozy and clean. Owner was very welcoming and happy to help. Nothing
- Simone (10/5): -
- Callum (10/5): -
- Anne-Marie (9/5): Perfect for a short stay in a nice quiet location - Beautiful views, sunset, quiet location, being able to walk around the property, accommodation 5 metres from the wine tasting (and the wine was exceptional)! Cozy and very clean. Lovely shower (with view over the vineyards). James was a welcoming and friendly host (despite being very busy).
- Shontel (9/5): - The scenery was phenomenal, the loft was great. So peaceful and just serene Nothing was beautiful
- Joseph (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - An amazing place with the most spectacular views from your private balcony especially at sunset. Wine tasting at your door step. Close to Orange and other vineyards.
- Nicki (9/5): We had a lovely stay, bonus of the most gorgeous sunset. - Loved the location and the views, the room had everything we needed. Very comfy and clean. The BBQ area was a bit messy with tools on the table and the garden and grounds could do with a tidy up. Not a big issue for us but it would make a difference to the look of the place.

- Aristo (9/5): Excellent Stay and Great Value - My partner and I made a last minute booking at the Zin Loft. It was just as pictured, in a great location above a boutique cellar door overlooking vineyards. The view was glorious. Even though it was windy during our stay (and a deluge in Sydney), it was blue skies and a lovely sunset which we could enjoy from the little balcony. Being in a vineyard location meant that it was a few minutes drive out of Orange along an excellent sealed road. Spotlessly clean, great value and we loved the Marimekko touches. We liked it all.
- Michelle (7/5): Was quiet and clean, staff were lovely - Was very quiet and comfortable Was a bit small, door was hard to lock and it was a bit far away from the main town and the road in was rough. A fan would have been good
- Anthony (10/5): Tranquility Plus with Awesome Views! - The views, cleanliness, user friendly amenities, … everything was superb! Sitting on the deck having dinner with a glass … or 2 of wine looking across the vineyards - spectacular! Liked everything.
- Ged (8/5): -
- Stephanie (8/5): Comfort with a first class view. - Really lovely place with beautiful view. Light breakfast was a great touch. The bed is super comfy. Tank water takes a minute to get used to but is fine.
- Cheryl (10/5): A very peaceful location perfect room with a view - Wonderful location.
Just what I wanted.
- Williams (10/5): just a short stay here makes you want to come back and stay a lot longer beautiful location - the location was well worth waking up too and peaceful recommend staying at this property having to come home
- Alisha Short (10/5): Highly recommend - Quiet, peaceful and staff were amazing.
- Rodney (8/5): - Room very noisy when having functions at cellar door
- Suzy (9/5): Tranquil location with stunning views ideal for an overnight stay. - The location on a vineyard with stunning views from the loft accommodation. We enjoyed the serenity that the property provided and wine tasting on site. The accommodation was well equipped for an overnight stay with bread and jam provided for breakfast if required and it was very clean.
We were able to purchase a charcuterie board or ravioli for dinner otherwise there was a 15 minute drive into town for food, so this distance is worth noting when planning to stay here.
The staff were friendly and very responsive. The property met our expectations so there is no negative feedback.
- claudine (9/5): -
- Peter (8/5): cool - breakfast was simple but good, propvided weetbix serial milk various teas toaster fridge microwave jug air con. not much
- Ian (9/5): -
- Melinda (10/5): - Lovely room with beautiful view. The host had left bread, butter and jam and a hug selection of teas. Very comfortable. Nothing.
- Dawn Morey (10/5): - The location was great, so so quiet. Only 10km to Orange so easy to go out for dinner. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset was gorgeous. We were the only people there but it was mid week. The amenities are great, perfect for just a couple no more. Nothing - it was terrific
- Keith (5/5): - Accommodation inside the loft was as described. The website description was of an open, functioning winery. We were expecting to sample various wines and too dine in.The place was closed. Therefore we were forced to drive into town so we could find something to eat.We had to make numerous phone calls just to find out why there wasn't anyone around. No one answered the phone. We were totally unaware if anyone had listened to the voice mail that was left. After an hour a young lady eventually showed up and told us the boss was away skiing. And everyone else was at a wine show. We had to request more supplies for our breakfast on the second morning. The outside BBQ hadn't been cleaned and wasn't suitable to use.
- Steve (10/5): - Brilliant warm, cozy in the cold.
- Catherine (8/5): A Convenient & Cosy Loft Room with a View - Great little loft room with everything you need.
Nice & clean & cosy.
A nice touch was the fresh bread, butter & home made jam for breakfast 😊
Beautiful view across the vines, and great sunsets to enjoy.
- Govinda (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place, nifty little cosy space over a cellar. Very rustic feel.
- Rebecca (7/5): The loft was clean, comfortable and provided lovely views of the winery. - We liked that it was located at a winery.
Lovely views overlooking the winery from our room
James, the owner was very helpful in recommending where to eat and dine during our stay. Only some suggestions...
I think they should invest some time and money into making the entry to the cellar door more appealing. Tidy up the garden, BBQ area - have some landscaping done - it's not clear where to go once you arrive.
A sign to the Zin Loft in the carpark would be helpful, esp. when you arrive in the dark.
I think having some of their wines in the room would be a nice touch ... you pay on checkout.
Fully understand that the ppty is run by the owner and assistant ... doesn't give them much time for ecstatics!
- Libby (10/5): Beautiful little escape! - Beautiful location, conveniently close to Orange, other wineries and Lake Canobolas.
Very quiet and relaxing. The Owners are lovely to chat to and it's very cute to see and hear the sheep as they roam around.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Rachbriffa (8/5): Very good - This was a unique stay that we enjoyed. Be prepared that it can be noisy with music on for the cellar door outside and work going on in the shed.
- Natasha (10/5): Beautiful spot on the outskirts of Orange - This was an awesome loft, was very pleasant to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the vines. Comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly and approachable. Highly recommend!
- Mick (8/5): Very good -
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (9/5): The perfect winery getaway 💚 - The most beautiful view! Honestly even better than the photos. Sitting out and looking over the vineyards as the sun set was just incredible! 😊
It’s also a wonderful location if you’re looking to explore the wineries in the area - sooo many around this area so it’s a wonderful base - as well as being nearby some beautiful natural sites & hiking spots like Borenore caves.
It was quiet and felt very private in the mornings and evenings - even though there’s a cellar door below and camping nearby, we weren’t disturbed in the slightest by anyone (even though it was actually also a long weekend). If anything, it just added to a really nice vibe, and the cellar door is only open from 11-5 anyway.
Would absolutely recommend and stay again at this beautiful place! Very very minor things only - not even worth mentioning here. The place was amazing 😊
- Suzi (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing all round can’t wait to come back!!
- Marius (10/5): Will stay again. - Great location on winery with exceptional view.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joesph (9/5): loverly location and relaxing - had every thing we needed for a 2 day stay
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (8/5): Very good -
- Annie (9/5): Superb - Beautiful views Just want to report that there was only one cup to drink tea or coffee.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): Relaxed and serene stay. - Superb location with great views of the vineyards. Peaceful surroundings and a wonderful host.
- Olivia (8/5): Lovely! - Lovely view and sunset! Bit basic and right above tasting area, but didn’t bother us at all as it shut at 5pm and we arrived later in the afternoon and had a late tasting on the deck anyway!
- Rodney (10/5): Great view - The accommodation is situated above the winery with magic views . The staff are very happy to assist and provided us with some food while they were busy with a number of other guests enjoying a special occasion . We loved how close we were to the winery the whole experience was great
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - The view, serenity and comfort of the bed Hard to locate on the property. Could be improved with clearer signage
- Ross (8/5): Peaceful location over looking the grapevines. - Great location above winery just out of town.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (9/5): Superb -
- Karolynne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marianela (9/5): Superb - Very peaceful
- Pete (9/5): Great peaceful location - The location was quiet and peaceful. there was a small kitchen and continental breakfast was provided on the first day. There wasn't anything I didn't like about the Zin Loft
- Colleen (10/5): An unforgettable blend of relaxation, exploration and hospitality. - "Embarking on a two-night getaway at the vineyard was a truly unparalleled experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of tranquility. The accommodations boasted a perfect blend of modernity and sustainability, featuring pristine furnishings and high-quality linen that ensured our utmost comfort.
As the sun began its descent, we found ourselves captivated by the expansive vistas stretching across the landscape, offering a breathtaking backdrop for the most spectacular sunset. Relaxing on the deck, indulging in a delightful wine tasting accompanied by a delectable cheese platter, we were treated to an immersive journey through the vineyard's rich history, each sip of wine accompanied by fascinating anecdotes.
As the evening unfolded, we reveled in the serenity of having the entire place to ourselves. Retiring to the cozy loft, we felt cocooned in warmth and safety as the wind whispered outside, savoring the simple pleasure of sipping tea while gazing through the expansive window, eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the star-studded night sky.
Mornings greeted us with a breakfast, providing the perfect fuel for our adventures exploring the nearby treasures recommended by our hosts. From start to finish, our time at the vineyard was an unforgettable blend of relaxation, exploration and hospitality."
- James (10/5): Thanks for having me at your beautiful vineyard. - Beautiful, peaceful location
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Amazing vineyard views. Very obliging staff and especially the owner.
Simple loft room with a tasty simple but very adequate breakfast supplied. Perhaps the stairs up to the room, but it is a loft.
- Montgomery (10/5): Perfect getaway - A lovely setting in a vineyard. Very friendly staff and cute loft with balcony overlooking vines.
The wines exceptional with a beautiful Riesling.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Lindy (8/5): Perfect stopover out of the town - Lovely quiet area, away from the town. Perfect spot to visit local wineries, although we enjoyed the wine here. We were apprehensive about the accommodation being above the tasting area, but seeing the winery closed at 5pm decided to book. The room was big enough with room for comfortable chairs and a lovely deck to sit outside. Bed was great and room and bathroom were spotless. Great looking across the vineyard . Hosts were friendly , breakfast provisions were left , and lunch is available at a good price. Nice barbecue area, but needed to scrub the barbecue before using. Campers also stay here and can use the tasting area deck and indoors, right under the Loft. 2nd night was stormy so a group of campers took shelter below us in the tasting area, and had a wonderful time until midnight. Great for them but not ideal for us. We were gifted a bottle of wine from them, next morning which was very considerate and appreciated. ( also a really nice wine that we hadn’t tried!) Suggest maybe there is a curfew on using the room if there are guests upstairs, or alternatively, go down and party !
- Nicky (7/5): Good - Surroundings we're lovely, Cellrdoor staff super welcoming Bed a was a tad firm
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (8/5): It was a great quirky venue to stay at, very casual and relaxed - It was rustic and casual and great location - near Lonely Mountain Ultra
offered ice bath after run
- Gomis (10/5): Exceptional - Location was peaceful and beautiful and the staff were lovely.
I was greeted very kindly.
- Aleksandra (9/5): Great place to relax and see winery life - Great chance to stay in the working winery. Down to ground place without homely vibes Didn't bother me, but the room is not acoustically isolated so you will hear visitors on deck and sounds from the farm.
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chester (9/5): Superb -
- Roland (10/5): myself and my wife had an excellent stay the views out the window was divine staff were ever so polite i can’t fault thi - the location was excellent close to orange Molong and surrounding areas staff was very helpful and polite bed was the most comfortable I have slept on in a long time
- Tara (8/5): Relaxing and nourishing. - Beautiful views over vineyards and country side. Lovely comfortable space.
- Bernard (8/5): A clean quirky accommodation nice staff - Bit short on breakfast 3 pieces of bread butter and jam A balcony out the front would make it feel bigger
- Willem (5/5): Really not what I expected! - view very little cutlery and crockery…. no pan on meat becket
- Deb (9/5): A great experience! - The view from the loft is amazing! Very warm even when cold outside. Great to see a working winery with some great wines.
- Melanie (9/5): Relaxing 😎 - Winery setting with beautiful views
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location - really enjoyed my stay. I will stay again.
Very Friendly staff. Easy to find.
- Alicia (9/5): perfect romantic accommodation overlooking vineyard 💚💚 - gorgeous accommodation overlooking the vineyard nothing
- Mella (10/5): Zin Loft - Everything was on point, location, decor, hospitality, the wine and the doggos, love, love, love❤️
The quirky signs are fun too🤣 Nothing to dislike. I read someone's post saying it could possibly get noisey if there were a lot of people enjoying the vineyard. It didnt during our stay, but that wouldnt bother us anyways, besides it shuts early. I could only see it being an issue if you are a very late sleeper and sensitive to the sounds of folk enjoying themselves.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Jimmy (8/5): Very good - Smelly fridge
- Fiona (10/5): Excellent stay. Very happy. - Welcome was friendly. The facilities were excellent- just what I needed and the sunrise and sunset over the vineyard was just what I needed. Close to Orange and lots of restaurants and easy to find.
