He was very friendly, and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed wonderful conversation together. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

• Sharon (9/5): A perfect spot to explore Venice - Our room was right next to the canal and we could open our shutters to see the occasional gondola and boat come past our window, we loved that. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure good, and everything was very clean. Our host was very welcoming and provided some great tips for drinks and dinner and information on how to get around. We had a lovely breakfast in the garden each morning and the location was quiet and via some lovely little alleys. It was perfect for a few days.

• sylvain (10/5): Merveilleux moment - Un immense merci à Andrea! Le lieu était très bien placé, la chambre donnait vue sur le canal, ce qui était incroyable. Nous étions complètement indépendants. Notre hôte était extrêmement à l'écoute et toujours prêt à nous aider, très disponible. La literie extrêmement confortable. Jusqu'au moment du départ nous avons été conseillés, accompagnés, ce qui a fortement contribué à rendre notre séjour merveilleux dans cette ville magique.

• Massimo (9/5): Ideale per un soggiorno fuori dal caos turistico in un ambiente familiare molto accogliente - Location fuori dal caos turistico e atmosfera familiare Nulla
• Walter (9/5): - Das B&B war sehr sauber und die Lage einfach super. Man war in 4-5 Minuten an der Station Fondamente Nova, von wo aus man die Inseln Murano und Burano erreichen konnte und den Lido in 20 Minuten. Auch die Vaporettostation Ca d' Oro und Restaurants und Bars waren in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns die 5 Tage sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider konnten wir den schönen Garten wegen der Temperaturen und der Jahreszeit nicht nutzen.

• Carlo (10/5): Bella Venezia... e in realtà ci vivrei :) - Un BnB nel vero senso della parola, ossia in una casa effettivamente abitata dalla famiglia dell'host, unico modo davvero etico di soggiornare a Venezia, che permette a un veneziano autoctono di rimanere nella sua città e mantenere una casa che altrimenti sarebbe abbandonata o trasformata in un'attività commerciale, pur permettendo a noi di soggiornare in città. Bellissima posizione, finestra vista canale, casa curata, bella, comfortevole, ottima colazione, gentilezza. Unica nota, il prezzo non proprio indifferente, ma stiamo pur sempre parlando di Venezia!

• FRANCK (9/5): Parfait - Andréa est un hôte qui prend soin de ses voyageurs. Parlant un excellent français, ses conseils et indications sont précieux. La chambre est propre, spacieuse, très confortable, celle que nous avions avec la vue sur le canal est un plus. Le jardin est très agréable pour y prendre le petit déjeuner. Merci Andréa. Pour notre part, concernant le petit déjeuner, ce n’est pas que nous ne l’avons pas apprécié mais nous aurions aimé plus de diversité, surtout que nous y sommes restés 4 jours. Comme par exemple proposition d’œufs, des pains et/ou viennoiseries différents, des confitures artisanales et des tasses plus grandes pour le café au lait. Étant dans le métier de l’hôtellerie restauration ceci n’est pas une critique mais un point d’amélioration qu’Andréa pourrait apporter.

• Katrin (7/5): Typische Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage - Die Lage ist sehr gut, ich kannte die Umgebung bereits. Ruhig, wenig Touristen, trotzdem ist alles schnell erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist irgendwie typisch venezianisch, vielleicht ein wenig zu typisch. Dass Katzen im Haus sind, steht in der Beschreibung. Dass die allerdings in der Küche rumturnen, wo das Frühstück serviert wird, hätte nicht sein müssen. Trotzdem war es aber sauber.

Muy cerca tienes el embarcadero si quieres moverte sin darte grandes caminatas. Andrea es muy amable y te da buenos consejos para moverte y comer. Tienen unos gatitos en su casa que son muy graciosos. Nuestra cama podría haber sido mejor. Quizá el colchón necesita una renovación.

Dies war leider nicht möglich.

• Victoria (8/5): Great way to see Venice in a quieter more local way! - We loved that the host and property of this b&b. (especially the cats). The host was very attentive and gave amazing recommendations on non-touristy restaurants. We went to almost all of them! We never felt uncomfortable staying in his house as there were other guests and plenty of space. The AC in the room worked wonderfully, the bathroom and bedroom was clean, the mattress wasn't the comfiest but for a short stay it was just fine. Sometimes we felt bad making noise or disrupting just due to being in someone else's home.

• Thomas (10/5): Perfect friendly stay, in a lovely quiet part of Venice. - The information provided before our stay, including directions, were perfect and in very clear English. When we arrived we were immediately struck by how beautiful their garden is, and how lovely the cats are. Our room was spacious, with air conditioned and a very well equipped bathroom. We liked everything, however, this is someone’s house and they live here so don’t treat it like a generic hotel.

Keep it a secret! - We were looking for a quiet place with charm—and we found Andrea’s place with a pretty breakfast garden and happy cats playing. There was even a bathtub! It was close to the Fondamenta Nove boat stop for our trip back to the airport. Andrea and his wife were pleasant and helpful, and also gave us our space. The room and bathroom we rented are in his home and there was another couple also staying there but we felt very private. The communication about booking and other details was excellent. I got lost on the way there because Google Maps wasn’t working well in the narrow alleys. I wish we had taken a boat to Fondamenta Nove with the luggage. The vaporetto boats weren’t on my Google Maps. If you get a two or three day boat pass, it’s very affordable.
• Karen (10/5): Wonderful place in the middle of Venice … but has an aura of calm and peace . - Room was lovely with views of a canal. Host could not have been more helpful , he gave us great tips on transport and places to eat. Quieter area but only 10 minutes walk to main areas. The benefit of having a garden to eat breakfast al fresco was a treat. A fantastic place to stay . The bed was a little too firm for me, but I appreciate that’s person preference.
• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - The room was lovely with gondolas going past the window. They have a garden that you can sit in and relax. Property is 15 to 20 mins walk from St Marks square. Less than 10 mins walk from waterbus to Murano and Burano. Andrea and wife (sorry didn't catch your name) very helpful and 4 cats made it home from home. Thank you Andrea we'll be back in the future. No faults it was perfect.

Breakfast was simple breads, fruit, cereal and some delicious cakes, but this was sufficient to start your day. Able to sit in the garden outside for breakfast. Very minor, but it would have been nice to have a couple of coat hooks in the room, and we were woken up by the noise from late arriving guests on one occasion. Not sure how this could be addressed though.

Very spacious room with large bathroom. Host was very friendly and helpful, they have us great location recommendations. Even the cats were very friendly. We enjoyed the quietness of our stay, very relaxing. They even went extra mile by preparing breakfast bag for our very early ferry ride. Highly recommended and we would surely stay again. It would be great if there is an extractor fan in the bathroom as it could be very humid, as we were scared of mosquito coming in, so we didn't open the window.

• Abigail (8/5): Nice place to stay - Andrea was a nice and helpful host, he explained everything in great details (even prior to our visit) and gave us great info on different things, such as where to find good restaurants, how to get around, etc. The room was big and comfortable and had everything we needed. The fridge had some drinks and snacks at good prices and i also used their laundry service. Although the room is in a family house we felt we had privacy. I wasn't sure what to expect from accomodations in Venice, as the buildings are old and effected constantly by sea salt in the air (which makes it difficult to maintain a building under such harsh conditions) and because it was 23 years since my previous visit. So, taking these points into consideration i wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel. It was comfortable, clean and easy to get to.

I believe that this is the best area of ​​​​Venice, not noisy, but very beautiful and atmospheric. The room itself is ordinary, but with a very comfortable and large bathroom. The owner Andre is friendly and pleasent man. A huge adventure for us was the well-groomed and gorgeous cats in the yard - they are amazing.

He is so helpful in terms of giving guidance to the city including restaurants, travel to the b n b. ( We used water bus which was excellent.) The Continental breakfast in the garden was a joy! Can't recommend this place highly enough! Nothing to dislike. It's a haven away from the bustle of the city. Excellent!

I loved the cozyness of the b&b and the little courtyard was lovely. The host family was very helpful and they had very cute and friendly cats. Definitely recommend this place! When we arrived it was colder weather so the floor was a bit cold (maybe complementary slippers?) but when the weather went hotter, the cold floor was actually nice.
