• Nick (10/5): Fantastic Hosts and a Beautiful Property. - The property is in a great location for access to the town and the beach with beautiful views in every direction. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated with a beautiful veranda. The breakfast is fantastic with the added bonus of Rodolfe's Crepes Suzette. Above all Rodolfe and Rodney are the friendliest and most gracious hosts you will ever meet.
• Hyun (1/5): DO NOT BOOK IF YOU VALUE YOUR HYGIENE, MENTAL HEALTH, AND SAFETY. - The views are incredible and the initial greeting of the host feels welcoming.. Although I did read many of the reviews which seemingly are glowing, I soon learned they are filtered from a lack of reality. There's a reason the profile of the location has no pictures of the bedrooms. I've attached pictures to show the horrid conditions that the rooms are in. You'll notice that the pictures show that they are indeed full of mold (I see now that there are reviews which confirm the same). Beyond that, there was a leak in the ceiling and water damage all over the walls that remain in disrepair. Mold scaled the curtains which were located inches above where your head rest on the bed. For people with health conditions, in particular, this is rather dangerous and absolutely unacceptable. Beyond the indignation trying to pass this place off as habitable, the host is absolutely indigent. Instead of rectifying the matter and allowing my friends who I traveled in with a refund for their 4 night stay (I had the good fortune of only staying 1 night and gratefully had a planned escape to an alternate lodging situation...they of course followed), he pretended to not understand them after how upset they were about the deplorable conditions. When Booking.com called, he ignored their calls and said he was on a cigarette break. He continued to berate them when they pointed out the mold and then he marked their stay as "no show" (they had paid in advance so there was no way to retrieve a refund after that) AND it prevented them from being able to leave a review and these pictures..well, guess what!!??? Karma came to bite you in the end. Here's my review, proof in the pictures, and an account of my horrible experience. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU VALUE YOUR HYGIENE, MENTAL HEALTH, AND SAFETY. In addition, I'm shocked that Booking.com would not investigate this further and allow this place to continue to benefit as a partner on it's site. Really...
