• Angela (10/5): Extraordinary - Our arrival and check‑in were absolutely seamless! Riccardo’s father welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness, and his tips about exploring Napoli were spot‑on — we literally followed everything he suggested and had the best time. The unit itself was spotless, beautifully renovated, and fully stocked with kitchenware. We felt safe and comfortable from the moment we walked in. And the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Naples, surrounded by amazing pizzerias, cafés, and lively bars. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Napoli. Thank you so much, Riccardo and Papa, for making our stay wonderful! 🤌🏽 Nothing bad I can say about our stay.
• Paul (10/5): A great spot from which to explore the city and good for regional travel too. - In a perfect location, on top of the historic centre and metres from the dazzling sights, but secluded. Clean, spacious, secure, stylish and comfortable. It could benefit from a bread knife!

• Werner (9/5): - Super Lage! Sehr sauber, was man von Napoli im allgemeinen nicht behaupten kann. Die Wohnung ist nur zu empfehlen mit Ihren Inhabern. Das hat mit der Wohnung nichts zu tun. In Napoli ist man als Fußgänger Freiwild!

Our host, Riccardo, was always cheerful and incredibly helpful, making our trip so much easier with his tips and advice. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. At one point, I only realized I’d left my wallet behind at a shop after I got back my country, and he went out of their way to pick it up and even send it back to me—I'm so grateful! The location was great too, close to all the places we wanted to see, and the neighborhood had such a historical vibe. If I ever go back to Naples, this is definitely the place I would stay again—comfortable and full of warmth. Honestly, it felt like a home away from home.

There are no cameras and no safe box, which makes the place very unsafe. The host said he is the only one with keys and the one who enters to clean, but he did not offer any help or responsibility. I felt completely unprotected and uncomfortable. I strongly do not recommend this apartment.

Very difficult to use The heater didn’t work and I was asked to fix it myself. It should have been checked and in working order before our arrival. The location is a true gem for anyone looking to explore Naples—it’s close to everything, making it the safest, most convenient, and overall best spot in the city for a visit. We felt completely at ease, and after seeing all of Naples, I can say without hesitation that this was the ideal location. The host’s father, who took the time to show us around and mark interesting points on the map, was so helpful and welcoming. He was more than happy to answer our questions and made us feel very taken care of. The room itself was lovely and impeccably clean, providing a cozy and comfortable space to come back to each evening. A special mention to the honesty and kindness of the hosts: I accidentally left my wallet behind, and they immediately notified me, sending photos of its contents to confirm everything was intact. Arranging to get it back was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Naples—it truly made our trip!

The apartment was very well presented and clean, and it is in a great location within walking distance of the city centre and transport links. The beds in the twin room are not the most comfortable.

• Nataliya (9/5): Superb - Very cute place, spacious, and clean. We loved that we had two separate bathrooms. The host was wonderful. He let us in a bit earlier so we could leave our luggage and gave us a lot of tips which landmarks we should visit and restaurants to eat at. Great place for a family of 4 or two couples. I would advise adding an induction cooktop stove or toaster/air fryer oven. The place doesn't have a living room. The only place for people outside bedtooms is a small kitchen space, which was not an issue for us.
• Luibov (10/5): I really liked the apartment, the location and the owner. I recommend this place - The location was ideal, in the very center of the city. There is everything you might need while traveling nearby and all locations can be easily reached on foot. The apartment was clean and very pleasant. The house is incredibly beautiful, you can see the neighboring yard from the window. And Riccardo is a kind and very responsive person, he was constantly in touch with me if I had any questions. I am absolutely happy that I chose this place for my vacation. No negative emotions. Everything was good.

We didn't miss kitchen, because food is on every corner. Riccardo's recommendations for restaurats were great. Location is top. There is no need to use public transport. On the last day we could leave our baggage there, because we had flight in the evening. Everything was fine.
• Graham (7/5): Good place to stay if you want an apt in old Naples with its street atmosphere. - Once inside the apt, it's good -- plenty of space, light, window for ventilation, small kitchen-bathroom with equipment, and clean. The location is good if you like old Naples, but otherwise can take some getting used to. There's a supermarket nearby (on Monteoliveto) and many small convenience stores and bars that are open late. We recommend the Locanda del Cerriglio nearby as a restaurant - it's in a small passage off Via del Cerriglio. First impressions are a bit off-putting if you're not used to old Naples. The neighbourhood of laneways and steps can be hard to find your way in even with a map at first, and you wonder what sort of a place you're coming to, especially on a wet evening. Our cellphones didn't work in Europe and we hadn't got multi-country SIM cards, so getting in contact once we'd arrived was tricky. We ended up inside the building, at the right door, but no-one there. Eventually one of the neighbours called up to Robert on the top floor (the owner's brother) and he came down, let us in and sorted things out. Don't judge the apt by the outside -- it's fine when you get inside the apt door! The apt has a raised section with stair access if you need to use the extra bed. Be careful when up there as there's no guardrail by the stairway -- it could be dangerous in the dark. We suggest putting an item of furniture there to block it if you're going to sleep up there. Owner note: the apt design is good, but this hazard needs attention.

The room was spacious , bright clean , equipped with everything we needed and looked exactly like in the photos. Last but not least the location was perfect. We didnt have to use any means of transport during our stay since everything was in a walking distance. Nothing!
• Elena (10/5): Hidden Gem in Napoli - We had the most warm and kind welcome by mr.Piero! The apparent is exactly as it is shown in the pictures spacious and bright! It was also very clean and comfortable beds. The interior design is ideal for calming after a full day in the streets of Napoli. Also is located in an area with great nightlife and just 8min walk from Via Toledo for shopping. I totally recommend it and hopefully when I visit Napoli again I will find it available! • Kilgarriff (10/5): Light-filled apartment in the heart of historic Napoli - We stayed for a week at Ecce Homo's beautiful split-level apartment. Riccardo and Piero were warm, kind and wonderful hosts. The apartment is located on the first upper floor of a historical building, hidden behind secure gates. There is a lift/elevator for suitcases, buggies/push-chairs etc. In terms of the apartment, it is spotlessly clean, and well-serviced. It has a kitchenette area, and an upper level. An abundance of light shines through from the huge window, which overlooks beautiful historic buildings. Extra bedding was provided in the wardrobes and toiletries were provided in the shower room upon arrival. The apartment was cleaned mid-way through our stay. The apartment is in a very central location within the old town. It is near some excellent eateries and the main old-town thorough-fare. The Spanish quarter is a ten minute walk. If you're travelling with children, there is a small playground at Via Santa Chiara, which is about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There is a tiny supermarket right outside the apartment, which is convenient for snacks and breakfast supplies. There is also a barber-shop and a small bar in the square on which the apartment is located. We found a take-away pasta bar, Past é Na, a couple of minute's walk from the apartment - the food there is like nothing I've tasted before, incredible. Pizzeria Giuliano, about an 8 minute walk, was great for pizzas & local Neapolitan food. In terms of tours - we booked Pompeii tickets and transport in advance. Don't bother. Travel from Naples and get your ticket for Pompeii at the gate of the site, at a fraction of the cost. The train from the central station is €6 return. For children, there is also Napoli Zoo, the Maradona murals, gelato cafes, the marina - there was a carnival on this weekend at the pier, which was amazing! We definitely want to go back and would love to stay at Ecce Homo again. It is one of my favourite holiday stops! Nothing - it was perfecto! :)

• Rudolf (8/5): Nice stay in the heart of Napoli - Located in the heart of the city, walking distance to any major objective; Our room faced a small courtyard so we didn't had any problems with the city noise; Nice host, gave us very good recommendations; The radiator made a lot of noise (hopefully we had ear plugs); Soap was missing when we checked in so we had to buy some (it appeard the second day) and also there was no extra toilet paper and we had to also buy some because we ran out on the last night;
