• Jennifer (10/5): WE will recomend Panorama on Sorell as and awesome place to stay in Tasmania! - The food was plentiful,fresh and perfect for a meal to start the day! The location was also in the right place to enable us to go city or country! Our hosts were polite, friendly, and made our stay like home away from home! Absolutely not a thing! we were delighted with the whole package! our hosts were helpful,obliging, but afforded us total privacy,and allowed us freedom to come and go as we pleased! Our host even warmed the place up for our arrival! Who could want more!

• Robyn (10/5): Highly recommend Panorama on Sorrell B&B - John was a very welcoming host and made us feel at home. Panorama on Sorell was like a home away from home. Conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and the airport. This property would make an excellent base from which to explore the area. It has a great view and i would happily stay here again.

• Paula (9/5): Panorama on Sorrell was the perfect accommodation for the last night of our time in Tasmania. - The unit, though built on to the house, was private and well appointed, with a great view from the dining table. Our movements didn't allow for lighting the fire which, on another occasion, we would love to do. John was a convivial host, but also left us to our own devices. There is plenty of reading material if weather proves unkind. Compared with the spaciousness of the bedroom and living areas, the bathroom is small, but perfectly adequate in design. Breakfast provisions were thoughtful; I especially appreciated the milk in the jug in addition to UHT cartons and the fruit bowl. Nothing.

It is the highlight of my whole trip. Wish the house holder be happy and healthy. It is perfect, I love all.

• Elisabeth (10/5): Excellent place to stay - A very warm welcome by John, and orientation to the accommodation. Everything was provided for a comfortable overnight stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. John and Milena are excellent hosts who clearly go above and beyond to provide an exceptional B and B. Nothing!

• Stephen (9/5): Great alternative accommodation close to Hobart Airport - We chose Panorama on Sorell B & B because it's very handy to Hobart Airport and we were flying out the following morning. Our host John has provided a nice facility with many additional extras such as bread for toast and additional condiments. While only there for the one night it was a great alternative to stay in a nice town, albeit which is now a virtual suburb of Hobart!

• David (9/5): Much better than staying in an airport hotel - We had to find a room for a one night stay near Hobart after our flight was cancelled. This was only a short drive from the airport, and was a good value. This is in the lower floor of a house in a suburb. The room had a nice panoramic view down the hill onto the bay. The host was friendly, efficient, and prompt. No fault of the owners, we had to leave at 4AM, so didn't really have much of a chance to appreciate the property or enjoy a breakfast.

If you first visit Tasmania, and will tour Tasman National Park, this is the best place you stay for the first night. By the way, there is only a short distance from Horbert Airport.

Unfortunately i was inadvertantly woken at 5am and unable to sleep after that due to sounds of the owners moving around upstairs. I recommend checking with the owners if this is a usual habit for them if you aren't also an exceptionally early riser.
