The welcome from hosts Michael and Sylvia was a very friendly one, while the stay was a very pleasant and comfortable one. Their attention to detail in providing a place to stay was outstanding
The location is a very quiet one, yet close to the town centre
I would certainly recommend this B&B to others and will stay again Everything was of a high standard

- Sandi (9/5): A convenient and comfortable place for an overnighter. - Quiet, well presented, spacious. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. The two cats were a special highlight! Delicious breakfast. The only thing we think would help is an overhead light in the kitchenette area.

- David (9/5): -
- Rob (10/5): - Michael & Sylvia are excellent and very accommodating hosts.
The breakfast was great and my partner loved the home made blackberry jam while I ate up all the poached fruits. The room/accommodation was very homely and very clean with all the little touches that you need to make your stay very enjoyable. There is two doors that keep your area from the main dwelling as in previous reviews but, they keep your section very private so you truly can enjoy your holiday.
- Charlotte (10/5): Wonderful, charming and tranquil. - Hosts Micheal & Sylvia were absolutely lovely. They made my partner and I feel very welcomed from the beginning and were so kind and warm. We loved our room, comfy bed and delicious breakfast. We also loved the beautiful garden, Sylvia took us through the garden and even gifted us with some delicious fresh produce. Their two cats were also delightful and friendly which just topped off our lovely stay. 🌱💛
- cindy (10/5): Delightful Airbnb in a beautiful part of Victoria - Delicious breakfast really enjoyed the herbal teas and stewed fruits Bed a little bit uncomfortable
- Anne (10/5): A great place to stay - Excellent amenities. Breakfast was lovely plus the snacks was very thoughtful. The garden at the back of the property was amazing and the hosts welcomed us to have a wander. Everything was lovely.

- Lisa (10/5): Quiet stay for recharge - Arriving at the beautiful a'meadow we felt welcomed. There was home made jams and stewed fruits for breakfast. Night lights to assist night time wanderings and very comfortable surrounds Nothing it was all perfect

- Peter (9/5): Trentham B&B. - Sylvia and Michael were great hosts, very welcoming. The room was well set up with a kitchenette, and breakfast provisions were provided.
The house is set in a beautiful garden which we enjoyed walking around. We would happily stay again.
- Lauren (10/5): Would stay again - The host was very friendly and welcoming. The bedding was super warm on a cold night. Has all the amenities required for a self sufficient stay. It’s very clean and homey.
- Betty (8/5): Cosy, warm and comfortable overnight place to stay . - Sylvia and Michael were very friendly and welcoming . For our breakfast ,Sylvia prepared a very delicious fruit compote ( rhubarb and apricots ) and that went very well with the toasted muesli , sourdough was very nice too . Place was cosy and warm ( Dyson heater was great as it was a very cold weekend) The accommodation is part of the main house separated by a sliding door . It was not sound proof as we could hear voices/ TV sounds from the main house even with both doors to the bedroom and living area shut.
- Patricia (10/5): - A'Meadow had everything we needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Our quarters were spacious with all the amenties we needed, along with special touches such as homemade jams and the most delicious stewed fruits!. The location was excellent, walking distance to the shops/pubs etc, however, far enough away so it was peaceful and quiet.
The hosts were friendly , knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming and offered great advice on what to see and what was on in the vicinity.
- Stacey (10/5): Like coming home to a warm hug with home made treats. - The owners were so thoughtful and cared so much about our stay. What a treat to have home made stewed fruits and jams ready for us to enjoy. Highly recommend Nothing
- Ron (9/5): Trentham is a lovely town with walks and cafes to enjoy and we found the BnB a great place to take advantage of all of t - Excellent location, walking distance from town centre, welcoming and helpful hosts, spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation.
- Mark (10/5): Could not have been better! - Our stay was just for the night but everything was beautifully presented and Michael and Sylvia could not have been more cooperative or helpful.
Also.. one of the breakfasts we’ve had anywhere!
We’ll be back again and for longer next time.
Thank you to Michael and Sylvia for making our stay so enjoyable.
- Jordan (9/5): Beautiful stay great location and amazing hosts. - Perfect
- Bathie (10/5): - Cozy comfy little home. Not to be fooled this is still part of a residence. But the hosts are super friendly. If you're lucky and the rhubarb is in season it's a must try 😊
- Maria Catharina (6/5): Uncomfortable due to the above circumstances. - Location The advertised ensuite does not exist, to access the bathroom/toilet you have to access the owners part of the house. It was concerning when we asked where the key was to lock the door before we went out to be told “oh we don’t lock doors here in Trentham”, we felt unsafe leaving our belongings in an unlocked apartment only to stumble across the key the next day. The presentation was very good and clean however given the size of the spaces there were too many cushions and items of styling and lack of hanging space in wardrobe. Only half of the wardrobe was unlocked And the available space was crammed with personal items of the owner.
- Greg (10/5): Highly recommended without exception. - Comfort, cleanliness and features were all excellent. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Location just a nice walk into town. Very quiet. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
- Jo (8/5): Lovely, comfortable, convenient. - Very comfortable, close to my family; daily refresh of facilities; the best stewed fruit I’ve ever had. Nil
- John (10/5): Very restful - Beautiful presentation, nice semi rural location, lovely helpful hosts Everything was great. No negatives whatsoever
- Kevin (8/5): - Provided breakfast items were good. Need to check in early due to a lunch date. Michael was very obliging A little bit pokey
- Neil (10/5): Lovely place for a short stay in Trentham - Spotlessly clean and very nicely presented. Fresh milk in the fridge and very decent provisions for breakfast. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Nothing
- Janine (9/5): We had a relaxing holiday in quiet and peaceful surroundings. - The room was clean and spacious, breakfast provided was good and the bathroom was excellent with great products. Not a lot of things to do in Trentham.
- Gregory (10/5): Quiet, restful space for a couple that I would recommend. - Lovely stay at a'meadow. Great space for a couple for a short stay with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and a small work space. Delicious breakfast of stewed fruits with bread, yoghurt and muesli with plenty of coffee and tea. Very hospitable hosts who were very helpful about the area.
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Rosie (9/5): Superb - Lots of wonderful thoughtful touches. Bedding is too heavy - very heavy comforter which is very uncomfortable. Too heavy on body and doesnt allow for movement and air circulation.
Maybe provide individual wrapped serves of cereal/oats, perhaps a small loaf of bread that I cut myself - cereal looks like it's been sitting for some time so not sure of 'freshness' and bread 'touched' as is pre-cut into 2 slices.
- Maria (10/5): Trendy Trentham stay with cosy vibe. - Liked all the extras, breakfast, coffee pods and toiletries.
Nicely decorated and comfortable bed with electric blanket.
Close to the centre of town.
Very friendly hosts. Very enjoyable stay.
- Geoffrey (10/5): A quiet relaxing stay; easy walk into town. - Lovely bedroom and great private lounge area with kitchenette. Easy 1 kilometre walk into town past kangaroos in a field. The hosts are a lovely couple to chat too. There were no real negatives although your private bathroom is not an en-suite but via a small hallway.
- Aj (10/5): Great overnight stay as I needed to work in Trentham - The whole experience was great. Was welcomed, shown around and had the best space to do the work that I needed to do. Hosts are wonderful
- Greig (9/5): A very personal stay with lovely hosts. - Exceptionally clean and very well appointed. Michael and Sylvia very personal and friendly hosts. Breakfast included Sylvia’s syrupy fruits and choice of three home made mueslis. Many spreads for the toast inc home made jams. Michael rang me the day before to introduce himself. We really enjoyed our short stay. Nothing to report
- Vesna (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The pantry was stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom was clean. The heater could have been more effective
- Michael (10/5): Comfortable for a couple who are looking for a bed in a beautiful area. - Very friendly hosts and welcoming. They communicated well. Clean room. Easily accessible. Comfortable bed and quiet. Great garden on property.
- Kitty (10/5): a’Meadow was the perfect spot for our stay in Trentham. - Michael and Syliva were welcoming and helpful and a great source of local knowledge. The space (really a small suite) is comfortable, clean, and private. Easy access to town and walking trails. We’d be pleased to stay again!
- Sasha (10/5): Perfect stop over to break up our travels. - Wonderful hosts. Michael and Sylvia were very friendly and we loved their beautiful fur babies. Nothing.

The hosts completely understand what really matters in hospitality such as a warm welcome, local information and first class facilities. Highly recommended and we will return.
- Raquel (10/5): Do yourself a favour and stay in this lovely little BNB… you won’t be disappointed. - It was a quiet peaceful place to stay with clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely recommend a meadow. It’s not what I didn’t like… my wife saw a spider outside and was scared… thankfully I’m not afraid of little creatures. Spiders and bugs are to be expected when staying somewhere rural.

- Kathleen (7/5): Good - Very well appointed guest suite situated within the main house. Delicious poached fruit with breakfast!
Large bathroom. Everything was fine except the heat pump for the house was outside the bedroom window right next to your head which was a little noisy until it went off at night.
- Peter (10/5): Stay was very pleasant, and I will return in the future. - I was warmly welcomed by the owners Michael and Sylvia - they explained how everything worked, and supplied the makings of a very comfortable breakfast. The B&B is tucked away on the outskirts of Trentham, and was very quiet and the bed was comfortable and warm. I can highly recommend A'Meadow.
