From gorgeous garden views to historical buildings, this personifies classic Tuscan villa. The husband and wife hosts were both warm and very friendly! They can speak multiple languages and will take the time to converse with you. The breakfast on property is continental style and held in the historic building on the property. During breakfast the large double doors were opened up to allow in the breeze and birdsong that mixed perfectly with the conversation of guests and the occasional laughter. This is the perfect place to unwind, smile, and slow down. The commute for exploring central Florence was easy, but does require you to budget ~20-30mins. During peak season taxi’s can be difficult to acquire and Ubers are expensive.

• Ute (8/5): - Die Villa ist in einem großen Park und man merkt nicht mal die Stadt. Sonnenwiese, Sitzmöbel, viel Grün und blühende Rosen. Wir waren im April dort. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Der Weg zur Straßenbahn sind gemütliche 10 Minuten und sie fährt direkt in die City. Das Zimmer war etwas zwischen komfortabel und Märchenschloss. Das Bad mit großer Dusche und alles sehr sauber. Unser Gastgeber war wenn nicht sichtbar immer per Telefon erreichbar . Auch dafür ein großes Dankeschön. In 15 Minuten Fußweg gibt es eine Pizzeria mit sehr gutem Essen, die bis 22.30 Uhr geöffnet hat Wir haben dort jeden Abend gegessen. Das Frühstück war sehr sparsam.

The villa is beautifully updated while preserving its history, in the middle of a lovely countryside—yet only steps from the comfortable and convenient tram to anywhere in the city. • Martina (10/5): "Ruhe nach dem Sturm" - Höfische Unterkunft unweit der Innenstadt von Florenz! Ca 10 min zur Strassenbahnstation entfernt. Mit der Tramlinie T1 in nur ca 20 min zum Bahnhof SMN und somit auch am Beginn der Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Fuss ca 60 min- bzw 4 km zur Innenstadt. Wenn man den Trubel der Menschenmenge wieder entfliehen -, oder nach Touren in der Innenstadt- in der Natur entspannen möchte- ist diese Unterkunft einmalig und absolut empfehlenswert!

Закуската беше разнообразна от солени до сладки храни - различни видове хляб, различни сирена и меса за сандвич, мюсли, мляко, ядки и сладки като кроасани, пайове и плодове, кафе, вода, сок и чай, за всекиго по нещо, а домакините ти приготвят кафе сервирано с усмивка и топлина. Пейзажът беше като от картина и опредено човек може да се почувства като в Рая когато е на почивка там! Абсолютна тишина, която ти помага да се наспиш особено след дълъг път. С трамвай се стига за 15 минути до центъра и гарата, което го прави идеално за разхродки. Със сигурност бихме се върнали отново с моя партньор! Не ми хареса, че не останах повече дни, определено две нощувки са твърде малко за това прекрасно място! :)

• Ralf (9/5): Typisch italienisches Landhaus in idyllischer Lage - Wir hatten in der Unterkunft drei schöne Tage. Man wird sehr persönlich vom Gastgeber Roberto begrüßt. Es ist eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Besonders die Lage am Rande der Stadt und die gute Straßenbahnanbindung hat uns gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

• Lauren (10/5): Beautiful Historical Building in a quiet area of Firenze - This was our final stop on a 3 week trip. It's a bit outside of the bustle of the city center on a hillside, which we wanted for our final night. Really cool property....an old palace and grounds that are now managed by a descendent of the original aristocrats from the 1600s. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was good and bed was very comfy. I would stay here again. Nothing negative. It doesn't really have food in a walkable distance that we saw, but we picked up from a local restaurant a short drive away that the owner suggested. Very yummy.

• Radu (10/5): A perfect beautiful place - Beautiful location, just outside Florence, but still city center remained accessible in 20 mins due to the very close T1 stop. Large and clean room, very good breakfast, wonderful hosts. The garden was not really usable at the end of a cold and wet December, but it looked very, very nice. We would come again any time. Heating unit was a little bit noisy (heat pumps are used at the property, as far as I could get), but nothing really serious.

• Valeria (10/5): Seconda volta nel giro di poco che torno a Villa Incontri ed è stato come tornare a casa. Bravissimi 👏🏾 - La posizione sulle colline di Firenze, ma vicinissima ai mezzi pubblici. I proprietari hanno visto che era il giorno del mio compleanno e a colazione mi hanno portato una fetta di torta con candelina. Un gesto di attenzione molto carino. Non ho trovato nulla che non andasse bene

• Moosbrugger (9/5): Wir würden wiederkommen, falls wir in der Region sind. - Die Lage ist unschlagbar zentral, in ein paar Gehminuten an der Straßenbahn... Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in einem tollen Park. Die Halle oder die Räume, in denen gefrühstückt wird, sind wirklich unglaublich alt und historisch, sehr schön. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr einfach und teilweise wenig vorhanden, das war enttäuschend.

• Dwayne (10/5): Hidden gem - This is a hidden gem. It feels like you're tucked away in the countryside, but this property is quite close to the city and nearby public transport. The surrounding nature is beautiful. The antique decor gives it a lot of character and it is so tranquil. To top it off, the host Roberto is a very friendly, gracious and accommodating gentleman. We will definitely stay here again

• Audrey (9/5): Un super séjour ! - Roberto et Francesca vous accueillent dans leur demeure familiale historique. Un écrin de campagne en pleine ville. Le tram est facile d'accès vous marcherez moins de 10mn pour arriver à la station puis 15mn pour arriver en centre ville. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et excellents. Francesca vous racontera avec plaisir l'histoire de la famille Incontri. Merci à elle d'avoir pris le temps de me la présenter. Roberto est très accueillant et vous conseillera de bons restaurants. Merci encore pour ce superbe séjour ! L'insonorisation des chambres est limite. Nous entendions nos voisins ...
