Very clean and comfortable with an excellent host who greeted us at the water taxi and provided us with so much information on everything Venice. Nothing. We loved everything
• Florent (10/5): Séjour idéal famille au calme et bien situé avec un super hôte. - Emplacement bien situé, 15 minutes à pied de la Piazzale Roma (arrêt bus) et 10 minutes du pont Rialto. Arrêt Vaporetto également à proximité. Endroit calme idéal pour la famille : deux chambres. Qualité des lieux où l'on sent l'authenticité et le charme vénitien. Très belle terrasse extérieure qui est vraiment très agréable. Super hôte qui est toujours disponible et offre de nombreux conseils sur la va ville et toutes les activités. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Le séjour était trop court pour apprécier la richesse de la ville!

Matteo, was the perfect host starting a few days out from our arrival providing ideas for restaurants and places to not miss while in Venice. He helped set us up perfectly so we could the most out of our stay there. Highly recommend.

• Charles (10/5): The best Venice experience possible . - Matteo was the perfect host and generously shared his extensive local knowledge on where to go, what to do and when/how to best avoid crowds. His advice made all the difference! The property was perfect and historic and made us feel like we were part of something special. The terrace that is shared between the units is a jewel and we looked forward to having breakfast out there in the morning, and then returning to sit and relax in the afternoon. The location of Beroni BNB was in a quiet neighborhood, that was close enough to everything to be convenient but also felt far enough away from the busy tourist areas. Perfect! There was not one thing we would did not like.

• Daniele (9/5): Découverte de la Sérénissime grandement facilitée par notre hôte Matteo. - Emplacement parfait à proximité de tous les sites principaux à Venise. Dès notre arrivée, Matteo, notre hôte, nous a fait gagner un temps fou en nous expliquant la structure de Venise à l’aide d’une carte. Ses conseils ont été précieux à tous les niveaux (transports, restaurants, lieux « secondaires » à découvrir). Nous avons même pu découvrir Burano et sommes allés à un concert, ce qui n’était pas prévu dans notre emploi du temps. Le logement est impressionnant avec une terrasse fleurie, le petit déjeuner est très bon et Matteo nous a régalé chaque matin. Chaque jour il s’est inquiété que tout se passait bien et notre découverte de la Sérénissime a ainsi été facilité. Nous y reviendrons en famille. Mille mercis à Matteo pour ce séjour magnifique. J’oubliais l’utilisation de l’application gratuite City Mapper qui nous a permis de circuler aisément lorsque nous nous perdions dans les petites ruelles vénitiennes. RAS, tout était parfait.
• Vincent (10/5): Un bel endroit où l'on est reçu avec attention mais totale discrétion. Loin des boîtes à clés ! - Enfin un peu de relation et de chaleur humaine dans ce monde de brutes ! Matteo (et sa mère) qui tient cette pension (B&B) nous reçoit chez eux (mais sont invisibles par ailleurs) dans un grand appartement très bien situé (5mn de la station San Stae, 15mn du pont Rialto, etc.). Tout est attentionné, soigné, extrêmement propre, et de très nombreuses informations et indications nous ont été données, sur demande, pour sortir des sentiers exclusivement touristiques. Nous y avons gagné beaucoup de temps (sur les transports notamment) et de bonnes adresses fréquentées par les vénitiens. Petit déjeuner dans la même veine, copieux et attentioné. Mille mercis. Totalement à la marge : des prises électriques un peu mieux situées pour recharger les portables !

Matteo gave us invaluable suggestions for places to go, restaurants to enjoy, and ways to navigate the lanes and waterways of Venice. He is GREAT. This BandB is located near enough to the 'must sees' to be convenient but off the beaten track enough so as to offer a taste of the Venice of Venetians. NOT APPLICABLE

• Jeffrey (10/5): Simply a fantastic place to stay. - This was a fantastic B&B, perhaps the best we have ever visited. In an elegant family home, the room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully appointed with gorgeous tile and many special Venetian artifacts. The bed was large and comfortable. Matteo our host was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful with detailed tourist tips and directions. And breakfast was superb:cappuccino, fruit, fresh pastries, cereal ,even fried eggs. Location was great: away from the crowds but still close enough to walk to major attractions. We are telling all of our friends to stay here. Hard to imagine a better choice. Nothing. Everything was fantastic!

Matteo, owner and host, went above and beyond each and every day. He was welcoming, hospitable and so generous. He helped us to and from the boat taxi, made special breakfasts to meet dietary needs, provided a fabulous itinerary for our time in Venice and suggested wonderful restaurants and merchants to visit. Our accommodations were beautiful and luxurious. Breakfast on an outdoor terrace was a feast for the eyes and the stomach! Everything was just right—Matteo was the quintessential host.
• Stanislav (10/5): Excellent location and a welcoming host—my stay in Venice was very pleasant. - This is the perfect place to stay, especially if you are visiting Venice for the first time, for several reasons. The location is extremely convenient—you can easily walk to the main attractions along picturesque streets. The owner of the hotel is incredibly friendly. You really feel like you have a local friend who will show you the best routes and places to visit, as well as great spots to eat that suit your preferences and allergies. He even helps with restaurant reservations and gives advice on the best routes around the city. I'm truly happy that I chose this hotel for my first visit to Venice.

• Mary (10/5): Beautiful B&B with generous breakfast, presentation and hospitality. - The property is meticulously decorated Venetian style with touches of Murano glass and antiques. It felt like staying in an opulent palace bedroom! The breakfast …. With many food options to appeal to a variety of tastes was the most beautiful spread we saw on our 3-week trip. Breakfast is served on a gorgeous 2nd floor patio protected with vines and surrounded with colorful flowers. Your style coffee and eggs are served and everything else is at your fingertips on the buffet. Upon checking in, Matteo spent time explaining the city and made fantastic recommendations for how to get the most out of our stay in the city. We ended up seeing more of the authentic Venice and as a result, got around the city more easily and efficiently. Leading up to our stay, proprietors would very communicative and helped with restaurant suggestions (all wonderful) and helped to make reservations for a busy weekend stay. Love! ❤️

He made bookings for us, gave suggestions and even accompanied us to the ferry stop for our return journey to ensure we didn’t get lost! Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and scrupulously clean. First-class shower. In terms of breakfast, I loved the fresh fruit. Excellent coffee and croissants. Even a birthday cake on my husband’s birthday- they had noticed the date on the booking form. My dietary restrictions were well catered for. We had breakfast in the kitchen, but had the weather been warmer we would have been able to eat in the garden, which would have been lovely. In terms of breakfast, we understand the convenience of packaged food in individual portions, but it would have been nice to have had less plastic packaging. Eggs would have been a welcome addition.

No better place to stay, if you want to experience Venice with the comfort of this beautiful and authentic Venetian family owned B&B (4th gen!). Highly recommend.

We loved the location which was in a quiet side street but in close proximity to everything and easy to walk everywhere from. The suite was beautiful with two large bedrooms perfect for our family. Really what makes this place stand out though is Matteo and Elizabetta. The welcome was so warm and before even arriving we were receiving messages to guide us to the property making it so easy. Matteo spent lots of time giving us recommendations of where to go. The terrace is beautiful, walking out to a lovely breakfast there in the morning was such a highlight.

The location was wonderful, quiet and easily walkable to all the various areas we wanted to hit up. Matteo and Elizabetta were warm and wonderful hosts genuinely interested in making sure we had an enjoyable time and that we made the most of our short stay. The breakfast provided daily on the beautiful large terrace was phenomenal with everything customized to each persons preferences. • Shelia (10/5): Hidden gem right in the middle of Venice - We had an exceptional stay at Beroni. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home, showing us how to navigate the city, giving us restaurant recommendations, detailing how the waterbus system worked. The home was beautifully maintained and right in the center of town. The highlight was definitely the large terrace, where we had a wonderful breakfast every morning (bread, pastries, cheese, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice + fresh cappuccinos.) It felt like we were staying with family friends - I can’t wait to go back. You can’t go wrong with choosing this B&B! Nothing comes to mind.

• Clive (10/5): Fantastic stay with wonderful hosts - Family owned accommodation. They could not do enough for you. The owner even met us at the local vaporetto stop when we arrived. Loads of info from them both before and at our arrival. Upon arrival we were given champagne and nibbles whilst being taken through all the local attractions on a map. Best places and value for money trips. Room was fantastic and very authentic with access to a lovely large shared balcony. Large bathroom with great facilities. Breakfast was continental with loads of choice. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone. Located in the centre of the main part of the city. They were very helpful in organizing our schedule and helped with moving luggage in and out of the property. The room and bathroom were super clean and up to date. The breakfast was elaborate and given with much warmth!

Matteo contacted me a week in advance with directions, videos and booking suggestions. Every day Matteo would help plan our outings with detailed instructions re travel and timings. I cannot remember a time when a host was both so knowledgeable and caring. Accommodation was amazing, private, spotless, facilities, decor and with the most beautiful terrace for both relaxing and breakfast. Breakfast was over the top. More selections than a large hotel and oh so fresh. The hospitality was sans pareil. Position was outstanding, close to S Stae Vaporetta wharf and within walking distances of the main sites. We were so lucky to have found such a perfect location. Mosquitoes and humidity were at a minimum as we were just off a canal. Value for money was again exceptional. • Eleanor (10/5): Excellent - Our suite was lovely & as pictured on the listing. What made our stay special were the hosts, Matteo & Elizabetta. They went above & beyond. From the fantastic breakfast served on the terrace, restaurant suggestions, directions & even walking us to various places like the water taxi pickup, they couldn't have been more gracious. If I return to Venice I will definitely stay at B&B Berroni.

• Cara (10/5): Amazing stay! - What a charming place! The hosts are a mother and son and you can tell how much they love their city and their home. The breakfast is served on their beautiful rooftop garden terrace. Every detail is thought out. The rooms are vintage yet feel modern. The host met us at the pickup point to help us find the place and help with luggage and then helped us arrange a porter for our way back. Google maps works *most* of the time to find it but sometimes can get turned around. Prepare for a lot of walking, as there are no taxis within the city. Our wonderful hosts offered so many great tips for our stay - they really made it special. Highly recommend! The bed was a bit too firm for my liking. But that’s just a personal preference! The location was a bit far from the water, but it allowed us to see and explore more of the city.

• Nicole (10/5): BEAUTIFUL and very special. - If I had to rate from a 1 to 10. This is a 100+++. I've been to Venice many times. Stayed in every area in and around Venice. This is next level. If you are looking for Four Seasons service without the crowds. This is your place. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe and taken care of. Every morning there is a beautiful breakfast served on their private terrace. They offer a wonderful buffet of sweet and savory, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cereals, fresh breads, pastries, juices, coffee, tea..... while I was staying there I would post to my social media and immediately people were reaching out asking about this special place. The bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious. There is a safe in the room if needed and the A/C is American style. The bathroom is very large with plenty of storage and BIG shower with an abundance of hot water. My room also had a mini fridge stocked and if needed a coffee and tea maker. If you need anything at any time they are there to help. If this place is available - book it! You will not be sorry. There was nothing to complain about.

• Michailas (10/5): Amazing accommodation. Would love to come back. - Excellent and tasty breakfast, typically served on terrace (if weather allows). Good location, close to the center and, at the same time, a bit away from the main crowds. Rooms are spacious with each apartment having its own exit to the terrace. Very personal attitude of the owners, friendliness, attention to details and amazing environment to enjoy.
