- Petra (7/5): Eine schöne, einfache Unterkunft. - Tolle Lage in einem außergewöhnlichem Denkmal. Eine einfache, funktionale Ausstattung. Eine furchtbare Matratze, ehr ein Sofa als ein Bett. Das Bettzeug war nicht gebügelt & hatte Löcher. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig.

- William (7/5): A pleasant stay, clean, not shabby, the facilities are being updated to some degree, very acceptable - The breakfast was very specially made - brought to your room for you to enjoy! The location is very good! The old canal and the Schleuse (canal lock) plus the bike paths and of course Nordhorn. The large old Zöllnerhaus is pleasant and has lots of unused potential. The bedrooms and bathroom are remodeled well - more remodeled space would make the stay a bit better, and still keep the quiet small hostel like atmosphere. I would have liked the facilities to have had a common breakfast room, or other large common space to relax in. The bedroom was the only place to be, there was no breakfast room or gathering room.

Nordhorn is also a pretty place, worth visiting. We came by bike and the bike ride to Nordhorn along the canal is enjoyable. Wonderful breakfast and great service. Nothing to not like.
