• Celeste (10/5): Ons verblijf bij Logies De Hessie was fantastisch: een schone, ruime en moderne kamer, een heerlijke badkamer met bad en - Ons verblijf bij Logies De Hessie was werkelijk heerlijk. De accommodatie ligt in een prachtige, rustige omgeving met een mooi uitzicht over het weiland waar zelfs ezels te zien zijn, dat gaf echt een extra charmant en ontspannen gevoel. Tegelijkertijd is het centrum van Turnhout dichtbij, wat de locatie ideaal maakt. De kamer was erg schoon, ruim en modern ingericht. Alles voelde fris en verzorgd aan, waardoor we ons meteen op ons gemak voelden. De badkamer was een absolute plus: ruim opgezet met een dubbele wasbak, een fijne douche en een heerlijk groot bad, perfect om even helemaal tot rust te komen. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden deze plek zeker aanraden aan anderen die op zoek zijn naar comfort, rust en een mooie omgeving

The accommodation is quite big, and the host is really responsive and welcoming. Nice gesture with chocolates, coffee and tea in the bedroom. And the common area is really nice. Although there was no breakfast, the host made available granolas and teas. Perfect for me :) Nothing really...

• Glen (10/5): A very comfortable and spacious self-contained apartment. Quiet and peaceful. - Chose Turnhout almost at random, just as an overnight stop-off en route from Rotterdam to Spa Francorchamps, and B&B De Hessie sounded good. So happy I made that choice. Katleen is great, really friendly. The apartment is self-contained, spacious and comfortable, open plan with kitchen/dining and lounge areas, and with a double bed on a kind of mezzanine. Having a separate room containing bunk beds it would be great for a family of four. Looks out through sliding glass doors over the donkey paddock and fields, quiet and peaceful. Donkeys!! Always a bonus! And breakfast was delicious. Off road parking, and around a 30 minute walk into town, probably a 5 minute drive. I was sorry to leave, and if I hadn't had somewhere already booked at my destination I think I would have stayed another couple of days to explore Turnhout. Hopefully I'll be back some day. Couldn't fault it.

• Xiang (9/5): Very good for solo traveler for work - the breakfast and quietness a little bit outside the town, could be difficult when without car. I was also expecting a swimming pool.
• Grant (10/5): Brilliant Stay - Great Breakfasts - The Rural Chamber provides wonderful accommodation with plenty of room. Self contained studio with mini kitchen, dining table, sofa and mezzanine bedroom plus 2nd bunk bed room. Really peaceful and quiet environment with views across the fields past the donkey paddock from the patio doors. Great pellet stove with plentiful supply of pellets used to heat the space with a simple remote control operation. Was able to use the Wi-Fi connection daily to work remotely without any issues. Super tasty breakfasts provided by the B&B, highly recommended accommodation.
