• Anna (9/5): Ez egy családi ház, ahol szívesen látják a vendégeket és barátokként bánnak velük. - A reggeli rendben volt. Meg lehetett beszélni a reggeli időpontját is, az ételeket is. Minden kívánságot teljesítették. A házi gazda gondoskodó, igyekszik a vendégek kedvére járni. A szoba nagy, csendes, mindennel felszerelt. Villamos nincs messze, csak két megállónyi távolságban a vasútállomásról és négy a múzeumoktól. Eltévedni nem lehet, csak fel kell szállni olyan villamosra, ami a fő pályaudvarra megy és onnan buszok, villamosok minden irányba indulnak. Nagyon meredek lépcsó vezet a szobába, vigyázni kell.

• Nerea M. (8/5): Recomendable - Xaviera y Philip muy amables y pendientes en todo momento, saben hablar castellano además. La cama era muy grande y cómoda. La localización es buena, se puede ir caminando a la mayor parte de los sitios, aunque todo está a media hora, metro y otros transportes a unos 20 minutos andando. Es un barrio tranquilo. El desayuno bastante bien: tostadas con opción dulce y salado, zumo de bote, café y Huevos! El baño, aunque privado, estaba fuera de la habitación. Justo en frente a la habitación pero había que salir al pasillo para usar el wc o la ducha. Había una lámpara de cristal en el techo de la habitación que sonaba cuando andaban en el piso de arriba, era bastante molesto. Lo demás todo bien, recomendable y mejor de precio con respecto a otros sitios en Ámsterdam

• Vladimir GASIC (8/5): Interesting place - You stay at a very famous place in Amsterdam with famous people. Xaviera and Filip are amazing hosts. It is very close to RAI, why I have chosen the place. Bed is comfortable and the place is very quiet. Clean. Little bit old and need refurbishment, windows/door do not close properly so you feel draught quite often.

The room needed additional cleaning — while looking for an extra blanket, we noticed mouse droppings in the wardrobe. There was a strong, distinctive smell in the house, similar to a hospital. We lacked privacy during breakfast, as we had to share the table with the host without the option for a private space. It felt more like staying over at distant relatives' house rather than having a private getaway
• Disa (9/5): Spacious, clean, fully-equipped studio in a great location with lovely hosts. - Large room with a kitchenette including microwave, stovetop, and small fridge which was very convenient. More like a studio apartment, it even has a bonus little study. The house is old, which gives it character and charm, and the space is clean and tidy. Great location, walking distance to many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and several different public transportation options. You can walk to the museum district or take a quick tram ride just a couple stops. Hosts were very kind, responsive, and accommodating. They responded to messages right away and did whatever they could do to make us comfortable, including accommodating our preferred breakfast times, offering room cleaning during our stay, and allowing us to keep our car in their lot for the afternoon after we checked out (we paid extra for parking during our stay). We only partook in the breakfast a coupled days and it isn't anything ostentatious, but it was enough for us, with eggs cooked how you'd like, bread or other baked goods, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. Not so much a problem for us, but just FYI there are 2 flights of stairs to the room we stayed in, and the second set is very steep. May not be accessible for everyone. If you're looking for a nice new modern place, this is not it.

The accommodation is in a beautiful and comfortable house, full of character, in a lovely neighborhood. The room has a very confortable bed, a new frigobar, a round table and chairs, robes, books, and the floor and table lamps are perfect for setting up the light we need. The big balcony is a treat, even in cold weather. We also pretty much enjoyed their breakfast as well as having their nice assistant help us out.

Wonderful people, great place, great heart, great soul, a place to recommend. Xaviera worked as a diva with famous people and she may tell you her story, it's very interesting and gives you a lot of informations. The moment when you take your coffee in teh morning is really great, our dog played outside with their dog, and we had very interesting conversations, with many good infos about Amsterdam ! I really recommand this place. May you be blessed my friends. The second stair leading to the best place, it was very steep and too much for our dog, but they gave us another room, perfect. • Carolyn (8/5): great location and hospitality ... good value for money - excellent customer service, very supportive to meet needs such as getting in the room very early, asking what you like for breakfast and at what time. Very quaint, with lots of memorabilia, books and photos (one of the owners is a renowned author). it felt like you are staying in a home rather than a b&b or hotel, I travel a lot both personally and professionally, I tend to prefer more neutral places to stay, but my studio at the top of the house allowed me to do that, it was spacious, and had it's own facilities. I was also thrilled to have got to know the story of the owner, and bought her 1st book ... whilst it wasn't unclean, some areas could have been better if there had been some extra attention to cleanliness because of the guests, wasn't an issue for me but if you have allergies, and you don't like carpets then you could suffer.

It has parking if you drive to the B&B. We had the attic room, which was very nice and roomy (but you have to climb some steep stairs so a big heavy suitcase would be a problem. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

The place had homely feeling and was really close to the RAI conference centre. Even the city centre was not too far away. The room even had a nice balcony. The extra bed that was supposed to make the room a twin bed one, was quite small and flimsy. Was ok for the few nights we stayed, but if booking for longer stays or if you have a sensitive back would avoid. The breakfast was on the lighter side, with not many options - bread

• Ken (8/5): Our stay was pleasant and in a great location close to where I had to go for my work. - We had a large room with a 'Private Bathroom' a Balcony and a fridge in the room, plenty of sockets and very good wifi. The owners and staff were very friendly. Philip was very helpful and had lots of good advice for getting around, even gave us a lift to the market one day. Breakfast was very good and typically continental, which made a welcome change, eggs cooked to order and preference. The 'Private Bathroom' although it was private, was actually across the landing it would have been better had it been in the room, it didn't really feel private.

The breakfast is really nice, the house is in a nice location away from tourist spots. We had a small fridge and coffee/ tea in the room. The bed is huge. We could enjoy our own bathroom. Some may find the night too loud as we were under the roof directly at the street side, some may find the pillow not that confortable.
