• Mercedes (8/5): - Muy buena ubicación, en un barrio con muchos servicios. Colchón muy cómodo. No es ruidosa, a pesar de ser una planta baja. Quizás nos habría gustado que hubiese un microondas. Tiene mala ventilación. En abril se está bien, pero quizás en verano puede ser agobiante.

• Malte (3/5): Der Aufenthalt war sehr schlecht, da das Zimmer sehr gestunken hat und Dreckig war. Man konnte dort auch nicht schlafen - Das Zimmer war für die größe gut aufgebaut Die Unterkunft war sehr Dreckig und hat gestunken. Es haben vor der Türe Obdachlose geschlafen und es wurde mehrmals versucht am Tag in unser Zimmer zu kommen. Es war dazu sehr laut da es direkt an der Straße war

• Jessica (4/5): Great location, but no hot water, disappointing - Great location right in the middle of de pijp. We enjoyed this area much more than central Amsterdam. Bed was super comfy and room temperature was cosy (it was snowing when we went!) Host was communicative before and during the stay. There was no hot water. We reported it after 1 st night still not fixed by 2nd night. Reading the reviews it’s even more frustrating that it was a known issue. Quite loud can hear people in the house coming and going. Most disappointing was despite having no hot water, it was only that we asked that we got a partial refund, it wasn’t forthcoming. And we had to message multiple times for it to be processed.

• Tanja (7/5): Schön, aber keine Fenster zu öffnen (!) - Pro: - Gastgeber antworten schnell auf Nachrichten und sind hilfsbereit - Sehr schön, stilvoll und modern eingerichtet von den Fließen, über die Möbel bis hin zum Geschirr - Kaffee, Tee etc. vorhanden (auch wenn wir das nicht nutzten) - gut riechende Handseife, Duschgel usw. vorhanden - Verdunklungsvorhänge vorhanden - modernes Bad (Toilette, (Regen-)Dusche: aber Wasser spritzt sehr beim Duschen - man muss immer mit dem kleine Duschabzieher auf dem Boden hinterherwischen) - tolles Viertel mit vielen Cafés, Restaurants und dem Park um die Ecke - Metro und Tram fußläufig nur 5-10 min entfernt Contra: - leider nichts für Frischluftfanatiker wie wir es sind (v.a. im Sommer): Der Raum kann baubedingt nicht über Fenster gelüftet werden, nur über die Wohnungstür, die direkt auf den Gehweg/auf die Straße führt. Man hat bei geöffneter Tür nie wirklich Ruhe oder Privatsphäre, da auch direkt vornedran sehr viele Fahrräder abgestellt werden. Das müsste in der Beschreibung klar benannt werden uns fehlt. Da die Sonne von morgens bis abends auf die Unterkunft scheint, hätte man sich ohne den Bodenventilator, der bei uns auch nachts laufen musste (der ist nicht gerade leise), damit es im Zimmer nicht zu stickig war, dort kaum kurz- oder langfristig aufhalten können. Der Bodenventilator kippt zudem komplett nach hinten um, sodass man ihn anlehnen muss - ein Problem, auf das in Bewertungen bereits 2023 hingewiesen wurde. Da besteht Handlungsbedarf seitens der Vermieter - Das Bett ist schätzungsweise nur 1,40 m breit und leider sehr durchgelegen

• Cole (9/5): Perfect room for a couple - The room was perfect for a short stay as a couple. The ceilings where high which made it feel larger, the room had a mini fridge, coffee machine and glasses. Bed was very comfy. There was lots of bars and restaurants which were open 7 days a week and there was a good vibe. Slight bad smell coming from the drains. Also was a bit hot, would be good to know how to open the windows! If this is sorted we will 100% stay again.
• Lisa (9/5): The best location to stay in Amsterdam with a lovely and helpful host and a comfortable, well appointed accommodation. - We loved the location of this property. It is in a funky, local area of Amsterdam with great wine bars, restaurants and the best gelato bar. The suite is a renovated garage with a comfortable, enormous bed, lovely bathroom and a little sitting area up a ladder (which we didn’t use). The area was quiet at night so we could sleep well. I loved staying here. I liked everything but people need to be aware that it is a converted garage, not a unit. It’s very well done though.
• Eleanor (8/5): Generally a really excellent spot for our needs to be near everything we wanted to do and near our family. - The location is excellent. Shops, market restaurants and transport very close. A quiet street despite the central city position. Only drawback was lack of window opening for ventilation or fresh air. An open door directly on to the street was okay if you sat at the door though…but isn’t ideal for night time air flow. No WiFi was a disappointment…some IT “oldies” don’t know how to E Sim etc!
• Debbie (9/5): Very comfortable studio apartment, great location, would stay there again - Perfect location, nearby to many cafes and market Only downside was the room got very hot in the afternoon, no opening windows, but the owners very kindly gave me a portable AC unit to use. No cooking facilities, even just a microwave would be good.

• Anissa (7/5): Good stay, nice place but paper thin walls - Really good location, great size and clean The walls are paper thin so you literally hear everyone walk past the door (especially drunk people at night). The room is connected to another property by another door so if you’re a light sleeper it might make you a bit jumpy. Lastly there was no tv (not that I watch when I travel) but given the price there should be one.
• Conor (4/5): Do not stay here if it is over 22'C – there are no windows to open and there is poor ventilation. - I liked the location, it was perfect. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was very modern and well-equipped. Would probably be good to stay in during Winter or colder months, but not warmer months. The big and only problem was that there is very, very poor ventilation. This issue was not flagged before I stayed here. There are no windows to open. You can open the door, but it opens right onto the street so it doesn't feel safe. It is such a pity because the unit is very, very nice and comfortable. It's just way too hot to stay here when it is over 22'C. There is a mechanical fan which is useful but it's very noisy to sleep with. What this suite needs is a dedicated air conditioning unit!

• Paul (10/5): Comfortable Apartment in De Pijp - Great apartment in De Pijp. Check in process very easy. Advised to take Taxi as it may have been cheaper option. €60 euro from the airport. Owner not to know. Take uber or catch trains as station not far.
• Jess (10/5): Exceptional - Situated in the heart of De Pijp with a great variety of bars and restaurants at your doorstep! Very cosy apartment to unwind in after a long day exploring the city and parks. I would highly recommend this property!

• Zoë (8/5): Cute, cosy and would stay again just needs a few touches. - Provided plenty of glasses and cups, little fridge could be helpful but ideally needs updating, comfortable bed and pillows with lovely throw, great/easy check in process, great communication with owner, let us check in earlier, recommendations of nearby restaurants/bars, heater warmed room lovely and quickly, good speaker, great area with lots of bars and eateries. Shower/taps not warm enough, difficult to figure out locks on door at first but managed in end, loud building works on day of arrival, noisy at times, no tv, could do with better clothing storage as too small for 2x people!

The apartment is on a more quiet and residential part of the street, so we had no problem with noise during the evening and night.

• Christos (7/5): Garage opening directly on the street, could be noisy - Location was great. This was a garage, opening right on the street, so it can be noisy. The side door opens to the corridor of the house, so you hear all guests coming in and out, slamming the door. For this, the accomodation is considered quite expensive. Also, no window can be opened, but they solved the aeration problem with a super silent pump. No storage room for clothing, no table surface.

• Benjamin (9/5): Perfect place for sleeping and resting whilst spending time in Amsterdam. - Fantastic location, great cafe and coffee shop (both types!!) on the corner, 5 min walk from pubs, restaurants and bars. 20 min walk from RAI Key was easy to find with accurate instructions, room was clean, coffee machine and tiny fridge a bonus! Bathroom sink was blocked when I arrived. sent a msg to owners and it was sorted straight away. Room doesn't have a window to open so no fresh air, but there's a circular air system which works quite well. It's more of a comfy space to rest at night than spend all day there.

It’s in a great area with lots of eating/drinking spots and just 5 mins from transport into the centre, which just a few stops away Nothing
• Gracia (7/5): Good - Good location, nice decor, comfy bed, long mirror, nice black out drapes No AC and it was very hot and stuffy in the room. all the time. The fan kept moving on it's own and would turn upwards on it's own to face the ceiling. No instructions on music speaker or coffee maker, which didn't seem to work. The faucet in tiny bath sink stuck out to half of the sink so it was very hard to wash my face without flooding the floor each time.

Can be improved for even better ratings and quality, please keep going you guys! - The location and simplicity of the apartment The lack of tables, and lack of change for towels especially for 2+ nights. I think having a small table next to the sofa would easily improve the situation! Lack of fresh air/windows because of the local regulations mentioned by them.

• Freddie (9/5): Location ! - Brilliant location, comfortable and good value for money. Staff were responsive and kind. Access to the apartment led directly onto the street. For us it wasn't too much of a problem but I can imagine it gets very noisy at times.

• Montana (7/5): Pleasant stay in great neighbourhood, with a few quirks - The room was simple but nicely presented and had everything we needed for our stay. The self check-in using a key box was straightforward and right by the property. The bed was comfortable. Nice shower gel / shampoo / hand soap provided. The area is also really nice - lots of great bars, restaurants and brunch spots and well connected in terms of public transport. We chose this place as it was much better value than a lot of hotels on offer and we didn’t want to spend much more than €125 per night. So we liked that it was in budget. The bedroom backs directly onto the road so can be a bit noisy. One night we were woken at 2am when a group of people were laughing and making noise for about 30 mins. Because of this, it can feel like you lack privacy slightly. It was very cold (- degrees) and when we messaged them about heating we didn’t receive a reply. Just meant we got quite cold! The bathroom was mostly fine - water from shower doesn’t get super hot and the sink in bathroom doesn’t drain very well. Sometimes a slight odour coming from shower, which other commenters have mentioned. I feel like the layout could have been better - there’s a small seating area on the upper mezzanine which we didn’t end up using as it wasn’t very convenient. Would have made more sense in my view to have the bed up there and then a bigger lounge area downstairs! Or at least a nice armchair or something in the bedroom area.

• Ozgur (5/5): Done wrong due to my trust in booking.com but sorry to see subjest tupe of stays here - Luckily there were capsule coffee in the room :-) It is a pity that the facility is placed booking.com, it is more like a host-guest type property (do not want to mention name of any other site here). Noone welcomes you, we called the number given as soon as we arrived but no answer either. Thus, after you get your key you are alone. We have stayed 7 days and did not satisfy with the heating for the first 2 days and the last night and day. probably floor heating is designed wrong, as it was installed under wood, instead of stone. We have requested new towels, poff no response again! Finally, I am still trying to get an invoice to my company after it has been 3 days we left the property, until I am writing this message I could not manage instead of getting unworking links or just being a reply instead of a real reply messages from the property.

But for check out, we didn’t receive any information and no answer back to my message. We just went back to where we picked up the keys. A bit more communication would be great.
