• Anita (10/5): Wonderful stay at Haus Josef - We had a wonderful stay at Haus Josef. Breakfast options were wonderful, room and beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was just a short walk into town. We would certainly stay at Haus Josef again when in Mayrhofen.

• Nicole (8/5): Alles wat je nodig hebt. - Het was een super verblijf, met een lieve eigenaresse. Alles was heel schoon. Het ontbijt was klein, maar alles wat je nodig hebt! Alles was goed, geen minpunten. Het is 15 minuten lopen naar de gondel, dat was echt goed te doen. Overdag kan je de skibus nemen.

• Mathias (9/5): Einfach gesagt es bleibt eine schöne Erinnerung für uns. - Besonders Freundliche Personal, sehr kompetent und sehr aufmerksam. Schöne Zimmer mit Balkon und traumhafte Bergblick. Bequeme Bett. Ruhige Lage. Gutes Frühstück. Wenige Gehminuten bis Zentrum von Mayrhofen. Wir haben auch früher unser Zimmer betreten dürfen bei Ankunft. Finde es sehr nett. Und wir haben Gästekarten bekommen damit haben wir weitere Vorteile genießen können. Mayrhofen ist einfach magisch märchenhaft unbeschreiblich. Sehr viele Möglichkeiten.

• Raymond (8/5): Emplacement calme, avec place de parc - L'emplacement est un peu éloigné du centre, au calme. La chambre profite d'un balcon fleuri avec vu sur le jardin et sur les montagnes. Elle était un peu étroite, mais suffisamment longue, équipée d’un lavabo et d’une grande armoire. La salle de bain est petite. La douche fonctionnait bien. Il y a des thés et une bouilloire dans la chambre, ce que nous avons appréciés. Les bord du lit sont anguleux, aie aie, si on s’y cogne.

• Bobby (10/5): Exceptional - Haus Josef is nettled up to the mountains in the beautiful mountain town. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The added bonus was having a balcony with vibrate flower boxes and with a mountain view. The host was specticular!!!!! Breakfast was delicious! This is not the host fault and could not be controlled, but the guest next door sat on the balcony outside our window talking loudly at 5:20 am!

• Iryna (9/5): Spacious room with big bathroom and modern facilities. Friendly owner and good service. - The room was very spacious and cozy. There was a big assortment of tea in the room and small sweet surprise. Sound insulation is on the highest lever, you even don’t hear what is going on in your bathroom. Bathroom is big with qualitative facilities. The late arrival was not a problem. We had a window looking on the other room balcony.

Host was lovely, very friendly and looked after me well at breakfast Only downside is the location as right on the edge of town. But can catch ski bus from round corner or I hired a locker at the top of the Penken so wasn’t carrying my skis and was walking back in my trainers.

• Andrew (9/5): Spotlessly clean - It's hard to imagine a more welcoming host or a more scrupulously clean haus. Every day the room was cleaned and tidied and the bathroom literally sparkled! The balcony with mountain view was a bonus as we had sun on 3 afternoons. The room was large and had its own tea making facilities with a range of teas. Lovely touch. The ski room has great boot warmers. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and the eggs were cooked to perfection every time. It's in a quiet location but easy walk to the centre and about 200 metres to the ski bus which runs every 15 minutes. There is no sauna or wellness but the municipal one is good and only 10 minutes walk away

Our cosy room with kettle and selection of teas was serviced everyday. Good heating and lots of hot water and powerful shower. Hair dryer also provided. Excellent plentiful breakfast with choice of cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, boiled or scrambled egg, continental meats and cheese, plus a variety of jams and spreads, orange juice, tea and coffee. More than enough to set you up for a good days skiing. On the outskirts of town, with the benefit of being in a quiet and peaceful location, within a short walk to the ski bus stop and only 12 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants in the main centre of Mayrhofen. • Zinaida (8/5): Great place to stay during the ski vacations! - The house in general and room in particular are very cosy, nicely decorated and well-heated. Very clean. Lovely view out of the window. Quiet. The house is at the edge of the town, so no party noises. We did not hear anything from the neighbouring rooms either. Ski storage with a heated ski boots rack. Highly appreciated as lockers next to Penkenbahn were outrageously expensive. 400 m away from the ski bus stop (departure every 15 min and even more often during rush hours) Nice hosts Beds were too soft for us and therefore uncomfortable Breakfast was not super versatile (which is totally fine for such a small place), so some individual products could be a bit better than basic (like flakes, yogurt)

• Robert (8/5): Very good - Good basic Guesthouse. If you are here to ski and use bars/restaurants in the evening then the small room and no hotel lounge will not be an inconvenience. Ideal for our father and son party. Our room had a shower, no bath, a good sized balcony too. Ski bus was 400m away and Scotland Yard pub 700m. Quiet position.
