De mooie keuken is echt een eyecatcher en met vanalles voorzien, ook de koelkast was lekker gevuld. Metro is echt om de hoek. Enige minpunt was de koelkast die je hoort als ie aanslaat, maar oordopjes meenemen voor 's nachts als het niet verholpen is.

• sergio (10/5): Great loft and really friendly host - Great apartment next to the metro station and within walking distance to everything in Amsterdam. The host lives upstairs so checking in and out is really easy. They were extremely friendly and welcomed us leaving plenty of food in the fridge (we arrived late in the afternoon) so we did not have to worry about dinner and breakfast. Everything was really clean and the house was very warm. It is a loft so both bedrooms are in the same space (no doors). We had a lovely stay.

Saç kurutma makinasından saç maşasına, kullanacağımız cep mendilinden özel olarak kullanacağımız deodorantına traş köpüğüne şemsiyesine o kadar her şeyi düşünülmüştü. Yataklarımız kuş tüyü yastık ve yorgan kullanılmış. Oldukça modern bakımlı güzel bir ev. Удобные кровати, на кухне есть все необходимое, очень хорошо, в душе и шампуни, гели, дезодорант, мыло, уходовые средства для волос. Я хочу отдельно поблагодарить хозяина Ричарда. Это очень хороший человек. Всегда отвечал на вопросы, подсказывал, советовал. Видно как он заботится о своих гостях. А самое главное он очень нам помог когда мы уезжали. Не приехало наше такси, и Ричард подвез нас в аэропорт, мы успели в последнии минуты на регистрацию. Огромное человеческое спасибо тебе Рич! Все понравилось. Нет претензий!

• AYDA MARIANA (3/5): - El alojamiento está situado a media hora caminando de la plaza Dam y a media hora caminando de la zona de los museos, nada de interés cercano. Hay estación de metro. La limpieza fatal, todos los utensilios de cocina con restos de alimentos, los interruptores min sucios. Al salir del baño el suelo se hundía. Realmente parece un garaje que han modificado para alquiler turístico La cocina a un metro de la cama. No me gustó nada.

• Sara (1/5): Garage adibito ad appartamento - La vicinanza alla stazione metro - Talmente vicino alla metro che alla mattina mi trovavo sempre 4 barboni davanti all’entrata di casa -l’appartamento è di fatto un garage con entrata proprio come un garage ( vetro e porta molto poco sicura) con ghiera a terra aperta (entrano bestie topi ecc) - è presente una porta che connette l’appartamento del proprietario e questo garage: la chiave ce l’ha il proprietario e può entrare nel garage quando vuole. - è presente un lucernario che non è possibile oscurarlo in alcun modo e nemmeno aprirlo quindi il garage è senza finestre e non c’è altro modo per cambiare aria che aprire il portone e attendere che si arieggino gli spazi. - la tenda all’entrata non è abbastanza coprente in quanto si vedono le persone passeggiare all’esterno e di sera dall’esterno si vede all’interno. - di fronte alla porta del bagno c’è un buco a terra sotto alle assi del pavimento che è stato coperto con un asciugamano - colazione totalmente inutile in quanto c’era solo un barattolo di 1kg di yogurt (noi intolleranti al lattosio). - il frigo fa moltissima confusione. - non c’era nemmeno un phon e i detergenti per il lavaggio del corpo era pochissimo, però c’erano in compenso 2 confezioni di shampoo, peccato che non abbiamo potuto lavarci i capelli - le prese della corrente tutte distaccate dal letto e c’era solo un comodino al lato del letto.

Vicina al centro e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici Casa con unico accesso sulla strada ( nessuna altra finestra o porta) vicino ad un pub dove una sera ho avuto problemi con un ubriaco che cercava di entrare in casa. Inoltre nell’annuncio si mostra un giardino che in realtà non è accessibile agli ospiti

• Luke (6/5): Great location - definite atmosphere and if you are looking for a studio facility it does well. - Location was terrific. Host furnished food items that were quite good. Shower pressure was good and bed was comfortable. Front door is directly on street and there is a restaurant/bar near so the noise level could be somewhat annoying. The photos on AIRBNB looked like there was separation between then bed and the kitchen/sitting area, but there was only one sheer panel. Shower had leakage problems so were required to deal with that after each shower.

D’ailleurs si vous arriver par la gare centrale il y a seulement 3 stations pour arriver à l’appartement. Les taxis sont chers et ils profitent des touristes.Accueil chaleureux de notre hôte Richard. Toutes les commodités à proximité. Séjour mémorable à Amsterdam. Tout aimé.

• MARGALIDA (1/5): RATONES Y GOTERAS, BUSCAD OTRO! - Hay ratones y goteras asi que si llueve podras ducharte junto a la cama y con compañia. Hay ratones, acordamos con el dueño abandonar el alojamiento cuando faltaban 2 noches y nos reembolsaria los 644€ que no habiamos disfrutado, pero solo nos ha devuelto 300€ y booking tampoco hace nada por ayudarnos. Si llueve tiene goteras en la zona de la claraboya junto a la cama, muy ruidoso y entra muchisima luz por la noche y si hace calor tiene un micro ventilador con el que refrescarte los tobillos. Una estafa en toda regla.

It was quiet in the evening and early mornings (which I like), close to transport and local places to eat, and had everything we needed - even a teapot! The pictures do not really show how open the bedroom is to the living area - not a big problem, but be aware that there is no real privacy. And the fridge is noisy for something so close to where we were sleeping.

We had a tour to go to the next day and didn’t get any sleep. The other two night were fine and the facilities and location were great. So disappointed about the noise during the night.

• Samantha (9/5): Great stay, good apartment - Good location, a nice quiet street, spacious enough for the 3 of us. Great shower. Nice and private. It's around a 30-minute walk into the center but we didn't mind walking every day as we like to explore. Rich was very helpful and nice. We believed breakfast was included but it wasn't, Rich did kindly provide some yogurt and berries which wasn't suitable for us (two people don't have dairy) so we just went to a nearby location for breakfast. This was the only disappointing aspect everything else was great.

Apartment was as advertised and had everything we needed even a little fan/cooler which was helpful on what would be considered a hot day in Amsterdam. Wish we had additional fan/cooling device given the temperature was higher than expected in the apartment.

• Hing (3/5): Not worth for money and it’s not a pleasant experience. - The location is convenient, only that there is a drug addiction treatment centre right in front opposite to the apartment. Many addicts wandering around during day time and not very suitable for family. 1. The shower ward is easily flood especially after the second day. We stayed for five nights and we have to wait and clean the shower water by the two wipers provided by the landlord while taking the shower. 2.The soft bed is too soft to sleep. 3. According to the web site, breakfast is included, but actually the landlord replied that it is only for the first day to “start up” and there will be no refill. 4. The Cable TV is not working for watching the Olympic 2024 during our stay. The landlord replied that we have to connect to Apple TV myself instead.

• Taniya (8/5): Much recommended - Very convenient location. If you have kids this the best place. It has a direct connection to everywhere in Amsterdam. Metro is located just at the door step. There is a cafe next door which serves drinks and food. AH supermarket is nearby. Washing machine wasn’t working at the moment. Apart from that we had a very comfortable stay.

• Paolo (7/5): Brilliant location to explore the Dam - Nice studio flat on a quiet side street about 20 minutes walking from the city centre. Well equipped kitchen and great bathroom with modern walk-in shower. No windows therefore the only option to ventilate the studio is by opening the front door on a busy pavement (the door itself is stiff and a bit hard to lock). The sofa bed is close to the entrance where there are no blinds and the curtains don't block much light, meaning that part of the flat is not dark enough at night. Yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of prosecco left in the fridge were appreciated, however the offer mentions that breakfast is included and we don't think those goodies were enough for a continental breakfast for 3 persons for 3 nights.
• Ayse (8/5): Very good - Our check-in was very easy and Thea was very helpful. The property is 1 min away from the underground station. Even on walking you can go to the city center in 20 mins and see the attractions and canals of the city. It is not a big deal but the door is hard to lock. If you are strong enough, it is not a burden.

• Daniella (7/5): An overall sufficient short stay - All you need in one apartment. Really helpful to have an iron and hairdryer! Lovely addition of a welcome bottle of Prosecco from the host, & breakfast of fruit, granola and juice was more than sufficient. Lovely shower & comfy beds. Ideal location for the metro & walk into centre. Shower does get blocked very quickly & this means that water does tend to go everywhere. While facilities were good, would have been helpful to have some proper bowls (rather than small glass dishes) & additional mugs. Bathroom towels were reallyyyyy small, I would recommend to the host to buy some bigger ones. If you are a light sleeper, maybe not the place for you as you can hear everything from upstairs. Also, you will be able to hear some of the patients from the facility across the road in the morning. Would be good to have some welcome info in apartment e.g. to provide WiFi details, how to check out etc.
• Colin (9/5): Perfect flat for a weekend break in Amsterdam - fair price, great host, good location - This trip was a 18th birthday trip for my step-daugther. Suffice to say she had a wonderful time in Amsterdam, and she found the flat perfect as a base. She loved the room and facilities, it was in a great location, and she said it was lovely and cosy. For my part, it was a pleasure dealing with the host - great communications, friendly and helpful and he even gave them two bottles of bubbly. Top notch service - thank you for making a great weekend for them. I asked my step-daughter and she said "the fact that we had to come home" :) There really is nothing not to like.

There no blackout curtains which was a problem for us after travelling directly from Australia. It was unseasonably hot and there was little ventilation although there was a fan.

Superb shower Very noisy, you can hear everything including creaking floors and stairwell. Not the comfiest bed, the mattress is quite dented from use and needs changed

We were given very good directions to the property and offered transportation to the airport, which we accepted, at the end of our stay. There was plenty of room, with a good sized and comfortable bed. The location was good. It was quiet and comfortable. Can't really think of a thing.
• Stella (4/5): Disappointing - 1. Bathroom 2. The proximity of the apartment to the subway and tram, near a supermarket 1. No windows, no way to ventilate the room, no air conditioning. To ventilate, open the front door. Opposite the apartment is the largest psychiatric facility that treats complex addiction problems. 2. There is no way to control the temperature in the room. Only the landlord can. 3. The description of the apartment says a bedroom and a living room. As a result, 1 studio room 15 m by 3 m 4. The bed is next to the gas stove. 5. The mattress is heavily pressed through. 6 There is a closet - it is unpleasant to use it, old and dirty. 7 The sofa is not the same as in the description. Covered in rags 8 No soundproofing. You can hear how the owner opens his apartment, walks, he lives upstairs. 9 There was an arrangement for a transfer from the airport. we waited 30 min. The owner of the apartment did not wait for us and left, citing poor health and other matters. But at the same time, he demanded to pay him for the transfer. On the day of arrival, it was impossible to contact the owner of the apartment by phone, the phone was switched off. the connection was after 30 minutes of waiting in the cold via booking messages.

• Phil (5/5): Lovely apartment, terrible noise spoilt the stay. Next time I will opt for a hotel. - Lovely spacious apartment close to the centre of Amsterdam. Apartment has a nice warm feel and great bathroom. The apartment is only 1 main room with a bathroom so suitable for 2 adults and perhaps 2 children only. The apartment is on the ground floor and has no noise insulation to the floor above or outside road. Therefore you hear everything (including Richard taking a shower at 6am). You hear every step and every sound from above (Richard is a whistler). You would have thought the owner above you would have been considerate. Even a little. The breakfast consisted of 3 small fruit bowls with yoghurt and fresh juice. Some bread or pastries would have been nice.

It was close to a lot of museums. the description said it had a washer along with a full kitchen. we assumed it was a dishwasher. They had a dishwasher AND a clothes washer. Richard was very gracious and exactly what one would look for at a rental property! Everything was really nice

• Rose (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable stay at GH Amsterdam. Highly recommended! - We like the convenience of the location and the local amenities close to the property. The property is located on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb especially if you have a lot of bags. The host was gracious and welcomed us with a bowl of fruits and a lovely bottle of red wine. Bonus: also being warmly welcomed by good boy Bob the dog (he lives upstairs). It was a pleasure to cook in the retro inspired and fully equipped kitchen. The beds and sofa are super comfy and cozy too. We took a night stroll along the beautiful canal and it was safe. The property is beautiful and true to the pictures posted in the profile description. Wish we had more days to spend at GH Amsterdam. Locking/ unlocking and opening the door from the inside was a bit of a challenge, but manageable and definitely not a deal breaker.
