• Stefan (10/5): - Wir hatten einen super Kurzurlaub am Rande von Amsterdam. In das Stadtzentrum sind es durch eine Lauf-und Fahrkombination nicht mehr als zwanzig Minuten. Die Gastgeber Jo und Karen waren sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Das frisch zubereitete Frühstück war super lecker und die Gespräche mit den Gastgebern waren sehr interessant und schön. Uns wurden viele Tipps und Ausflugsziele erläutert. Positiv ist auch der Parkplatz inklusive genau vor der Tür. Die Preise in der Innenstadt für das parken sind schon ganz schön grenzwertig. Fazit: Super Urlaub, super Unterkunft, sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr schöne Stadt. Sehr ge rne wieder.
• Ondřej 90 (8/5): Klidné ubytování - Ubytování je lokalizováno v klidné čtvrti Amsterdamu. Zhruba 5 minut chůze od ubytování je zastávka tramvaje, kterou se dostanete na okraj centra (jízda trvá zhruba 30 minut). Parkování nám majitelé ubytování zařídili v ulici před domem, což bylo velice příjemné. Pokoje byly útulné a dobře vybavené. Kromě majitelů nikdo další v ubytování nebyl. Majitelé ubytování se snažili vyhovět při přípravě snídaní potravinovým intolerancím. Po příjezdu do ubytování jsme byli seznámeni se všemi pravidly, a to dokonce 2x. Celý proces by ale mohl být o něco kratší. Druhý den v ubytování, když jsme byli v centru města, nám majitelé uklidili pokoj, což bylo na jednu stranu příjemné. Na druhou stranu, nám ale přenesli některá zavazadla do jiné místnosti, rozmístili osobní věci do úložných prostor podle jejich uvážení a uklidili více, než bylo bezpodmínečně nutné. Bylo to posléze vysvětleno tak, že mají přísné kontroly, což na jednu strnu chápu, ale s touto formou úklidu nesouhlasím. Celý pobyt působil trochu jako návštěva u starostlivých rodičů, což někomu může vyhovovat více a někomu méně.
• Bettina (10/5): Perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Kurztrip nach Amsterdam. - Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es war rundum einfach alles sehr schön. Sauber war es. Das Frühstück sehr lecker. Der Balkon ein Träumchen. Karen und Jo waren sehr liebe und herzliche Gastgeber. Uns hat alles gefallen. Wir haben nichts zu meckern.

It was - Jo and Karen’s Bed and Breakfast was a charming Dutch home filled with warmth and hospitality. I had the whole upstairs to myself. My every wish was considered and I felt sad to leave. • Parvi (10/5): Welcoming, cute, and cozy stay in a Holland house - My husband and I loved our stay here! We felt right at home and the hosts are especially welcoming. We enjoyed our breakfast very much and had great conversations with the hosts! The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. We chose this accommodation because of the close proximity to the tram and the free parking (very easy street parking). The tram ride to the city is about 30 minutes.

Alles sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit Stil. Ein süsser, kleiner Balkon mit Blumen was will man mehr. Jeden Tag wurden wir mit einer schönen Karte und einem Geschenk verwöhnt. Parkplatz frei vor dem Haus ein toller Luxus da die Parkgebühren sehr teuer sind. Das Frühstück abwechslungsreich und liebevoll gestaltet mit Spezialitäten des Landes. Haus Koch Jo verwöhnte mit Teekräutern aus dem Garten. Jeder Wunsch wurde von den Augen abgelesen und erfüllt. Wir konnten sie als perfekte Reiseleiter für Amsterdam, Leiden und die Windmühlen buchen. So konnten wir viel über Land, Leute, Kultur und Traditionen aus erster Hand erfahren. Ein ruhiges Plätzchen am Rand von Amsterdam, 20 Minuten mit der Strassenbahn, einfach perfekt. Restaurants und Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe. Karen und Jo sind freundliche, warme Gastgeber die uns bestens verwöhnten. Gerne kommen wir wieder

• Aleksandr (10/5): Excellent stay with wonderful hosts and great comfort - We stayed in this lovely apartment in Diemen for 4 days while exploring Amsterdam, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient - there’s an easy tram connection to the city center. The apartment itself, located on the second floor of a townhouse (with the hosts living downstairs), was cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. The hosts were absolutely amazing - they served delicious breakfasts every morning and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Everything was cleaned daily, and they offered great recommendations, tasty food, and warm hospitality. We felt very welcome and truly cared for. Highly recommended!
• Petra (9/5): Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber! - Der Gastgeber Jo ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar, immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Täglich gab es eine Schale mit frischem Obst und ein Leckerli am Abend. Sehr gastfreundlich!!!! Sehr steile Treppe zum Zimmer - leider keine Teilerstattung trotz krankheitsbedingtem Abbruch des Aufenthaltes. Wäre auch nur auf Kulanz gewesen - laut Buchung nicht kostenfrei stornierbar🤷‍♀️

• Laura (10/5): Cómoda y excepcional estancia cerca de Amsterdam - Los huespedes Jo y Karen fue lo mejor de la estancia. Son super atentos, agradables y te sientes como en casa, cuidado como nunca. Se interesan por tu viaje y ofrecen consejo o tips para que tu visita sea lo mejor posible. La habitación, situada en el piso de arriba, dispone también de un balconcito y un baño al lado; siempre estaba impecable. La cama muy cómoda y el baño bien acomodado. Ofrecen servicio de desayuno que supera cualquier buffet libre de hotel. Aunque se en encuentra a 20 minutos en tram del centro de Amsterdam, está bien conunicado y Diemen es un pueblo muy tranquilo y bonito. Sin duda, repetiría de nuevo si vuelvo a Amsterdam.

Ihre Info´s und Tipps waren top. Die Lage ist für einen Amsterdam-Trip ebenfalls perfekt. Beim nächsten Amsterdam-Aufenthalt werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen.

• Trevor (10/5): Jo and Karen were friendly and extremely helpful about what to do and see in Amsterdam. - Clean, quiet, excellent breakfasts and public transportation was convenient. Jo and Karen went above and beyond by driving us to and from Keukenhof Gardens, and then a very early drive to the airport.

Happy to help give advice on things to do. Arrived as strangers and left as friends. Lovely variety of continental breakfast options and evening meal provided upon request at additional charge, all good quality food. Parking included right outside property in safe and quiet neighbourhood. Location is 5 minute walk from local restaurants and tram stop into the city of Amsterdam. 20 minutes tram ride into city for all tourist attractions to suit all ages. Large,comfortable bed, stable wifi, smart tv and tea\ coffee facilities in room, fresh fruit available. Very clean in entire property. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Great place to stay in every aspect! Nothing to dislike whatsoever, just an amazing place to stay.

• David (9/5): Spotless B&B with friendly, helpful hosts who are very passionate about Amsterdam. - Nice breakfast, Jo was happy to find what we liked. Location was good for us but it is a bit out of central area. Easy tram ride and we enjoyed seeing more of Amsterdam on the ride in to centre but I can see how others might find it a bit far to travel each day. Jo was super friendly and pains me to put this here but if I have to put a small dislike in this section then Jo can talk a little too long sometimes. Need to give the travellers a little more space to themselves at times.

We loved starting our days with their delicious breakfast and a lovely chat. The space itself is very clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable so we slept great, and there was also a nice terrace we would have enjoyed if it wasn’t a little too cold/rainy during our stay. I loved everything, but it’s worth noting the location is about a 30 min ride on public transit to get to the center of Amsterdam. Tram stop is close and tram comes often so it was no issue for us. But something to keep in mind.

It was very cosy and clean, we felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. We had a beautiful breakfast every morning. Karen and Jo are very kind and warm host! The location is perfect, easy access to city centre. Free car park was a great bonus. We liked everything.

Karen and Jo have many good recomandations for your stay in Amsterdam if you wish. We enjoyed our stay very much...to stay with Karen and Jo in their B&B is like beeing in an Oasis of silence a little outside from the City Center. We can recommend to rent a bike in a shop close by.

The help and assistance was excellent and very much appreciated. They helped organize bike hire and advice on eating options in the area. Also recommendations on places to visit was excellent. We appreciated being picked up and dropped off at the airport. That was great. Had a lovely stay. Would like a shower curtain so water didn't go on the floor. The bedroom was tight but adequate for us.
