• Oliver (9/5): Super B&B für ein Städte Trip - Sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Super Anbindung mit Bus und Bahn. Restaurants und Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe. Leckeres Frühstück. Klimaanlage und Ventilator vorhanden. Etwas kleines Zimmer für ein Pärchen Urlaub. Das Zimmer wird schon recht warm.

• Ju (10/5): Très chouette chambre chez des hôtes exceptionnels - Jolie chambre, au premier étage d'une maison au calme. Hôte hyper accueillante, super attentionnée. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, tout est préparé maison et frais. Métro très pratique (deux lignes vers le centre de Montréal) et bus 747 qui fait le trajet aéroport en 25 minutes. Je recommande totalement.

• Scott (10/5): Overall a great place. Rita and gite l'imprévu are both highly recommended! - The breakfast was great. Rita was very accommodating of our food allergies. The location is close to 2 metro lines and in an interesting neighborhood (St. Henri.) Our room was comfortable as was the shared bathroom.

La chambre est très bruyante en raison du trafic et de la faible isolation phonique (bâtiment d’époque). Avec des bouchons d’oreilles plus de soucis :)

• Bennet (9/5): Gravious hosts in a well-priced, centrally-located B&B. Would stay again. - Hosts were very kind and attentive to our needs as guests. Breakfast was delicious, and made available at the time we asked. Location was central and close to a metro station. The room was comfortable with its own sink and mini fridge (bathroom was shared). Good value. True B&B experience. Sound proofing was so-so, and we needed to use earplugs in order not to be woken up by sound from the shared bathroom and kitchen.
• Marian (10/5): Artful decor in a welcoming and intimate setting - conveniently located mere steps to the metro. - We loved the breakfast, the colourful and inspirational decor, the excellent location vis-a-vis metro and neighbourhood restaurants, leafy walks etc. Dan and Rita are excellent hosts with a wealth of experience in making people feel comfortable in either English or French or a mix. Being in their home in St. Henri really added to our overall experience of the history of Montreal and the changes undergone in this part of the city. We will always remember this stay... plus the kindness of sending us on our way with a delicious carrot muffin each! This is not a criticism but simply a suggestion: I wondered if the lovely large plants with which we shared the room (they love the light of course) could have been located on a higher shelf or other spot where I wasn't conscious of touching them as I passed by. Perhaps some place that allowed for more floor space and also easier closing of the curtains?
• JAMES (9/5): Fabuleux - La gentillesse, la bonne humeur de Dan et Rita, exceptionnels..Le calme. Le petit déjeuner pantagruélique. La décoration est très éclectique mais chaleureuse. La proximité du métro et de la navette aéroport. Le quartier. Et la petite attention adorable de Rita qui cuisine le matin du départ pour que vous partiez avec "un petit souvenir," (muffin délicieux). Le fait que la salle de douche soit commune ne me gêne pas en soi. Par contre, les toilettes ne sont pas séparées et cela m'a un peu angoissée. En plus, des toilettes japonaises ! Je n'ai pas osé en profiter.Ne convient pas aux personnes en situation de handicap
• Laura (9/5): Comfortable and cozy - The room was very comfortable and had a refrigerator and a desk. Excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast was amazing! Parking was hard on the street. There was a transportation strike while I was there that shut down the metro, which turned it from a good location to a long walk downtown.

• Sunghwan (10/5): If you’re looking for a true bed and breakfast experience in Montreal! - A slightly late review! I stayed here for two nights when I visited Montreal in September for the marathon. It honestly felt like staying at my grandma’s place in another city — cozy and comfortable. Although the bathroom was shared, it was never an issue, and I was pleasantly surprised to find free street parking right in front of the house — something I’d never experienced before in Montreal (most places charge an extra parking fee). What I loved most was the breakfast freshly made by the host each morning. If I ever come back to Montreal, or if someone I know plans to visit, I’d definitely recommend this place!

• Daniel (9/5): Small BnB with the delicious breakfasts and excellent hosts! - Excellent small BnB with the most amazing breakfasts and very friendly hosts! Nice location close to many restaurants, the Atwater market, the canal for nice walks as well as the metro to get downtown, the plateau etc. and bus to/from the airport! As it is a beautiful older building, there is only one washroom in the BnB. It is kept very clean, but something to keep in mind.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast meal they prepared was exceptional. The space was very clean and the bedroom was spacious. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Montreal.

• Omer (10/5): Phenomenal stay in Montreal - This stay has been absolutely perfect. I stayed with my friend, and we didn't have many expectations when we booked this place. Rita was absolutely perfect! Her house is not only clean and comfortable, but could model for magazines because of how beautiful it is. The rooms are decorated, Rita is quite the collector and the house has a very special atmosphere! The breakfasts are hosted on her magical balcony, she makes fantastic food, and even asked us in advance for our preferences and adjusted herself accordingly. The location is great, and easy to transport to other parts of the city via walking or metro. To sum up - phenomenal. Would definitely book again. nothing!

The room I stayed in is spacious, and I appreciated the AC and fan to combat the summer heat. An added bonus was the bar fridge to store my market purchases!

• Riccardo (9/5): Eine tolle Unterkunft um Montreal zu erkunden - Ein sehr schönes Bed & Breakfast etwas außerhalb von Downtown, daher ruhig gelegen. Die nächste Metro-Station ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Rita ist eine fabelhafte Gastgeberin, die sehr viele Tipps zur Tagesgestaltung, dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr etc geben kann. Auch ihr Frühstück ist sehr gut. Man wird vorher explizit gefragt nach Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten gefragt und kann somit sein Frühstück vollumfänglich genießen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in den umliegenden Straßen ebenfalls vorhanden. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier genossen.

• Sarah (10/5): Parfait ! - Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse remarquable et arrangeant. Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et nous avons pu tout de même avoir accès à notre chambre. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et toujours servis avec le sourire et dans la bonne humeur. La chambre était propre. Le lavabo présent dans la chambre est très pratique étant donné qu'il s'agit d'une salle de bain commune. Ainsi nous ne sommes pas obligés de toujours occuper la salle de bain. Nous recommandons fortement cet hébergement Merci à Rita et Dan !

• Maura (10/5): Old School B&B - This wonderful place is the old school kind of B&B, where hardworking hosts open their home to visitors. That sort of hospitality and attention to detail can feel like a dinosaur these days--gone unless you pay at the ridiculous prices of hotels. We enjoyed the sumptious breakfasts with homebaked goodies every morning and the joy of conversations with other guests. (If you want to be by yourself, this might not be the place for you, as breakfast is served in the outdoor patio with others). In our room, we had airconditioning (it was HOT when we were there in June), a small refrigerator, and a comfy bed. We did share a bathroom, but the timing was perfect for us and we had no issues there. Free parking is available and we had no problem finding a spot. I am a runner, and the canal is a short distance away, which meant easy access to distances without city stoplights. Restaurants are within walking distance, including some fabulous ice cream. The only potential issue about staying here is the steep stairs to get up to the room--be aware of that when booking. Finally, Rita is a refreshing hostess: she's honest, funny, straightforward, hardworking, and dedicated to her baking. We are happy we stayed with her. nada

• Maurice (10/5): Looking for a B&B? Look no further! - Rita and Dan are great. I loved the sense of humour and the thoughtfulness to make the stay comfortable. The photos lining the staircase are fun, the breakfast is excellent, the shower is hot and the bed is comfy. The location is excellent, it's outside of downtown Montreal so it's nice and quiet. A couple minutes either way gets you to the metro or to the main street with places to eat, or to the market for fresh everything. Shared bathroom with hosts and guests was a little intimate but was okay for us. Would recommend earplugs as the property is not very large and sleep could be disturbed.

• Andrew (9/5): Perfect base for a singleton or couple to explore Montreal for a few days. - Room had working aircon and a fan. The breakfasts were absolutely superb and huge; your hostess is a great chef. There are a large number of restaurants and bars within a 5-15minute walk. Downtown can be walked in around 45-60minutes. Parking was easy and free. Not much really - the accommodation is well described and there we no nasty surprises.

One of the highlights of this place is the breakfast, prepared by Rita, during this time we also had great conversations! Recommend this place, the location worked really nicely for us, and luckily we could find street parking in front of the b&b.

The breakfast was just FANTASTIC - so fresh and lovingly prepared! We really felt AT HOME and would LOVE to come back!!!
