- Brian (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): -
- Fiona (7/5): - It was clean. However, there was not enough soap in the dispenser in the shower. We felt the breakfast was below average.
- Wayne (10/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Charming renovated cottage in a quiet location - The cottage was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Quiet location close to the main road. Breakfast supplies were great, you could cook a bbq if desired. Highly recommend staying here. NA

- Sarah (10/5): -
- Paula (7/5): Little disappointing but it was a nice 2 night stay. - Cosy cabin for 2 people
Nice bed
Good wine glasses & kitchen fit out - clean
Good communication with the owner Bathroom towels were old and scratchy- not good quality
Outdoor setting was old and rusty
Bbq was very uncared for unfortunately
Not enough cupboard space for hanging and folded clothes- not enough coat hangers
Ironing board was very flimsy
Few upgrades it would really make a difference
Lots to stay in down in the vale.
- Amanda (9/5): Relaxing visit to a beautiful part of SA. - We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in McLaren Vale. It was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The host’s local recommendations were fantastic and really enhanced our visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
- Javier (10/5): -
- JOHN PAPANICOLAS (8/5): A very comfortable and enjoyable experience where we relaxed and enjoyed McLaren Vale - It was a quaint little cottage that was clean comfortable and close to all facilities The pillows were too hard and too high
- Leanne (10/5): This is a perfect base for a couple to use when visiting and exploring McLaren Vale - This is a beautiful base whilst exploring McLaren Vale. It is very central location. We loved that it was so private and out of the way. Supplies were very well thought out and stocked for our stay. We spent alot of time in the court yard whilst at home and were very grateful for the supplied BBQ. There was nothing that we can think of - everything was provided that we required.
- Iain (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, could have easily stayed longer if time permitted. - Was a cute little cottage, ideally located. Ample space and facilities.
- Jim (10/5): -
- Kristy (10/5): Family trip - The cleanliness, the complimentary breakfast etc, the location. Beautiful little cottage N/a

- Wendy (10/5): Highly recommend a stay at Settlers Cottage to visit the magnificent sights and activities of the Fleurieu Coast. - The property is heritage listed Circa 1600 and has modern stylish fittings in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom/living areas. Nil
- Linda (10/5): Comfortable stay, very well appointed. - Location excellent, cottage was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, loved the fresh orange juice.
- Christian (8/5): It was a comfortable and lovely cottage, perfect for wine tasting and eating out - Bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast provisions could have been better. A loaf of Woolworths sliced white bread was provided and baked at home croissants, but there was no oven to bake them in. 2 bananas were provided and it would have been nice to have a little more. The Vegemite was almost empty and we couldn’t get any out, we brought some of our own so that was ok. We appreciated the fresh milk, Greek yoghurt and orange juice, but suggest a more healthy bread option, a bit more fruit and a protein like eggs, ham, cheese etc. Local produce would be lovely too
- Tricia (9/5): Nothing to dislike !! - Wonderful continental breakfast included!
Cereal, Bread, Croisants, yogurt , orange juice , strawberries! Nothing to dislike !
- Glenda (7/5): -
- Marie (10/5): - The cottage was a very comfortable and well situated accommodation. We found it very clean and it had all we needed to make our stay lovely. We did not want for anything. We would recommend this B&B. We give it 5 stars out of 5 🖐

- Jo (10/5): It really felt as if we were living in our own home, it was that comfortable - Such a lovely space. Incredibly clean and everything you could wish for.
- Leo (8/5): Very good - I’ve never stayed in such clean accommodation- exceptional! Breakfast was plentiful & enjoyable. Because of the extremely wet weather we couldn’t walk to the restaurants, cafes etc. For us it was a bit too far from main area if we wanted to walk. Also, there wasn’t access to a hot plate/oven although there was a microwave. A portable hotplate was in a cupboard, which we couldn’t get out o work.
- Garrick (10/5): Exceptional - Walking distance to cellar doors, and to the town for restaurants and supermarket.
Clean and spacious inside with a decent continental breakfast included. Nothing
- Sam (9/5): A Retreat Gem in a Settlers Cottage - Beautiful accommodation very tastefully modernised but maintaining the character of the old Settlers Cottage. Ample provisions for breakfast were ideal for each of us. It is located in a very quite superb within easy reach of shopping and wineries 🍷 of the region. We would highly recommend this accommodation to stay at for that weekend away from the business of life. The attention to detail, even an umbrella 🌂 for a rainy day, was provided for our use. The air conditioner was quiet when sleeping at 🌙.

- Belinda (9/5): Great location and quaint cottage very comfortable nice ambience - We loved the quaint cottage it was perfect for our 4 nights. Clean accomodating close to main St and wineries. Philip was very helpful and thanks for the wine and breakfast provided.
- Deborah (10/5): Perfect short break in McLaren Vale - Very easy check in process. The cottage had everything we needed, and more. The breakfast was a life saver as we were unaware of the long weekend & shops being open 12+ hours a day (we are from Sydney), so ate breakfast for 3 meals a day as we came straight from the airport. We loved being central to our day tripping winery visits. Location was easy walking distance into town but very peaceful. There is a private courtyard to enjoy breakfast or a coffee. Everything was very clean and in good condition.

- J (10/5): A great place to stay, but make sure you're happy with the possibility of it costing a bit more tha. - The location was perfect for us as we wanted to spend time in the McLaren Vale. It was very strange to be met with a request for an additional $50 because 'Booking.com always get it wrong '. We'd booked for two, but apparently the price we paid was for single occupancy. If that's the case, and if Booking.com won't sort out the problem, then it would be much better to increase the price on the website by $50, and offer a discount for singles. We left cash on the kitchen table because no one was at home to give it to, and we never had confirmation that the money was received. All a bit strange.
- Hamish (8/5): Very good -
- Edward (10/5): A most pleasant and comfortable stay. - The Settlers cottage is a real gem. Its well planned interior makes staying there a pleasure. Its location in a quiet street makes for a restful and pleasant stay. The breakfast items provided are generous and save you having to shop unnecessarily. The distance from other town facilities meant needing to use a car a fair bit.
- Abbott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): Charming cosy historic cottage, immaculately clean, thoughtfully appointed and well located. - We loved this charming, cosy historic cottage, tastefully decorated with many thoughtful touches. Generous breakfast provisions (fresh milk, fruit, juice, croissants, coffee machine etc), as well as fluffy towels, toiletries and a very comfy bed. Immaculately clean and quite spacious for a couple. Excellent location in a quiet street, near Shiraz Trail for cycling and walking distance to restaurants. Highly recommend SA ebike hire (drop off & collection) and McLaren Vale Hotel, Bellevue Dining.
Thank you, Philip & Robyne for a lovely stay.
- Barry (9/5): excellent place to stay - Good breakfast
- Mel (10/5): Beautiful, clean, had everything we needed. Felt very homely ☺️ - We loved how clean the property was! It felt brand new. We felt right at home. It was easy access when we came and went. Beautiful little quiet street and very pretty surroundings. The linen and towels were very fresh. Oh and the shower had the best pressure we’ve experienced in a while at an air bnb/accomodation property so we were very impressed. We would 100% come and stay here again! The hosts really put a lot of effort into the property and the breakfast supplies topped it off ☺️
