• Maurizio (10/5): Todo maravilloso! lo recomiendo al 100%! - Muy buena la atencion de los propietarios. El Sr Fabien siempre muy amable y puede hacer el traslado al aeropuerto si lo deseas. El desayuno muy bueno, y estan siempre pendientes que la pases a gusto y comodo, ademas estan siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que puedan!

• Ｔｏｍｏｋａ (8/5): Safe, clean and comfortable place to stay with a nice couple - It was great! It is outside of the downtown area in the quiet and safe neighborhood, near the stadium, Sapote. It took me some time to get to know the bus system but I can see myself staying there longer. Both Fabien and Marissia were both very helpful to me the whole time with whatever was needed. Having my own bathroom was also very nice. It felt like visiting a friend’s house, very comfortable and had a mixture of independence and interaction. Good breakfast, too. On my last day, Fabien even prepared a sandwich and coffee for me. I appreciated it so much! He got up so early (3:30 a.m.) and gave me a ride to the airport for a small fee. I recommend it to all the independent travellers who are looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay. The transit in that area was a little complicated and Google Map did not give me any information about the bus system of that area. Though that place is only 3 km away from the city, without knowing the public transit system, I recommend to use Uber. Though the public transit is 1/7 of the price that a taxi would charge.

Marissia gave me good instructions to get into town with helpful and enthusiastic ideas of what to see in San Jose. Excellent English. Friendly, warm, welcoming. Short but great stay!! room small, adequate for one person, which was fine for me. Bathroom downstairs, right near their kitchen and living room, true to the description.

• Thomas (9/5): Superb - We had a great stay! The room is small but has everything you need for a short stay in San Jose. Transportation from the airport and to bus stations is offered for a reasonable price. All in all, it is highly recommended!

Additionally, Fabien went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, got settled into Costa Rica, and literally went above and beyond in every single way to help me with whatever I needed. The home is small, but extremely clean. He was very respectful of my space and my needs and I felt completely safe and comfortable. This is a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day or two in San Jose. His local knowledge and willingness to share that and assist me was truly exceptional. I will encourage any family and friends heading to Costa Rica to start their trip with him.

• Vladimir (10/5): Excellent accommodation! - Nicely decorated room in a pleasant house, cool and breezy, no metal bars on the windows, breakfast is fantastic with fresh fruit. The host is a gentleman, will advise what to see in San Jose.
• Jan-philipp (10/5): Great B&B in San Jose, in an enclosed quiet area, with really nice hosts and delicious breakfast :) - Very welcoming hosts, which loved to introduce me into some aspects of Costa Rica, during my first evening in this amazing country by the end of rainseason. It was really nice for me, to have this close interaction to the hosts, as part of my arrival and I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast, I got served the next morning. Thank you very much and all the best for you both :) Todo bien!
• Juneeja (10/5): A pleasant stay in a lovely home - The guesthouse is located in a gated community that felt very safe with groceries and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms and the house was very cozy and neat. Fabien and Marissia were prompt in their communication - super lovely people!! Even though I had very early morning starts every day and couldn't stay for breakfast, they put together a breakfast bag which was very much appreciated. They also provided good recommendations for things to do and even arranged for parking for the rented car. Fabien also came to see us off at 4am on the last day! Definitely enjoyed the stay and would recommend! Nothing.
• Judith (10/5): THE best accomodation one can have - EVERYTHING!!! F&M Guesthouse exceeded all my expectations. While I had readd positive comments about the hosts, the reality was even more impressive. Always willing to help, on my first night without my backpack, they provided me with a pajama. On my departure day, they kindly offered to drive me to the bus station at 6 in the morning. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The hospitality was exceptional, and the offered food was simply delicious. The bed, incredibly comfortable, ensured nights of restful sleep. The facilities were impeccably clean, and the location was safe. In summary, this accommodation is highly recommended. A place where personalized attention and comfort come together to provide an unforgettable experience. Everything was PER-FECT

• Martin (10/5): Lovely hosts - super helpful, tasty breakfast - Very lovely hosts, super helpful, they are the perfect people when you fly to Costa Rica for the first time (helpful tips and bunch more, they know English and other languages well). I would give 11/10. Tasty homemade breakfast. The place is in an apartment complex behind a guarded gate (you also live with the hosts)
