• Zita (10/5): Very relaxing, beautiful nature, warmhearted hosts - The park the lodges are located in is a little paradise. You can spend the entire day chilling on the balcony, looking at the plants and animals that are at home in the park. The hosts are truly warmhearted, wonderful people. I had an injury during my stay, and they went out of their way to help me handle it. We are very grateful for the lovely stay!!

• joelle (9/5): Chalet au rapport qualité prix imbattable (petit déjeuner inclus), au cœur d'un magnifique jardin. - Un peu à l'écart de Turrialba, mais proche commerces, au calme par rapport à la route. Plusieurs chalets dans un jardin magnifiquement entretenu par le propriétaire. Parking juste devant le chalet, avec un accès qui a été regoudronné récemment. Accueil sympathique par les propriétaires. Payement en colones via carte bancaire. Grande pièce à vivre avec grande table ronde, 4 chaises, deux lits superposés, un grand lit double et un petite cuisine. Frigo peu bruyant (c'est bien, car il est juste en face du lit) Toutes les ouvertures sont vitrées (pas toujours le cas au Costa Rica). Belle salle de bain. Literie confortable. Petit déjeuner inclus, complet. Un plus appréciable! Wifi et propreté ok. Excellent rapport qualité prix, le meilleur des environs. Pas d'isolation phonique : "Concert" d'aboiement de chiens presque tous les soirs (18h -> 21h). Heureusement calme ensuite! Installation électrique un peu juste : éclairage ok mais manque des prises (qui marchent) pour brancher les appareils. La cuisine mériterait un rafraichissement : l'évier est un peu vieux (reste de l'eau en permanence dedans), pas de microonde, pas de bouilloire. Mais le petit déjeuner est offert, donc peu de besoin d'utilisation.

• Daniela (7/5): Bonito y rústico - El paisaje es precioso, una de las cabañas estaba en excelentes condiciones y muy linda. Las camas son cómodas. La atención es muy buena. Tienen lo básico para cocinar. Los baños en buenas condiciones y nuevos. Hay espacio para parquear cerca de cada cabaña.. Una de las cabañas es muy rústica y tenía rendijas en el piso o las paredes que permiten que entren insectos, esto hizo que las camas de esa cabaña estuvieran un poco sucias. La entrada tiene una cuesta con bastante pendiente que es importante tomar en cuenta.

• Dominik (7/5): Funktionell gut, mit leichten Abstrichen, gute Lage für die Ausgrabungsstätte Guayabo und gutes Frühstück - Die Lage ist gut, der Garten sieht aus wie ein Park, ist aber mal wieder Koffer rumschleppen angesagt. Die Unterkunft erfüllt ihren Zweck, warme Dusche Bett Licht, das Frühstück ist gut. Es ist im inneren der Häuschen ein Gefühl in einem Schuppen für Geräte zu liegen, vorallem wenn man im Bett liegt und auf das von einer kalten Glühbirne beleuchtete nackte Blechdach schaut, das könnten die Betreiber noch dem hübsch gemachten Garten liebevoller anpassen. Auch muss man dann zur Tür gehen um dieses Licht auszumachen und steht dann im dunkeln. Das was da als Küche angeboten wird ist, unsinnig das fühlt sich sehr hingebastelt an. Ich glaube aber an den guten Willen der Betreiber die sehr nett sind.

• Michelle (3/5): Nur für echte Naturliebhaber - Der Inhaber war wirklich sehr nett und hat uns auch angeboten das Grundstück zu zeigen und uns wurden auch noch extra Decken gebracht wurden, ohne dass wir danach gefragt haben. Die Unterkunft war nicht besonders sauber. Alles ist sehr abgewohnt. Die Dusche sieht gefährlich aus. Es ist alles urig eingerichtet, was ja kein Problem wäre, da es eher einer Jugendherberge entspricht. Das eigentliche Problem war, dass bedingt durch den Baustil der Hütte überall Tiere (unzählig Ameisen, Kakerlaken, andere Käfer) hereinkommen konnten. Die Ameisen waren am Ende unserer besten Freunde, da sie die getöteten Kakerlaken komplett zerlegt haben und abtransportiert haben. Das war wirklich interessant zu beobachten, aber eben nichts, was man sich in einer Unterkunft, in der man schläft, wünscht. Leider kann man nur vier Fotos anfügen. Wir haben daher nur sehr wenig schlafen können. Das Grundstück ist allerdings sehr schön angelegt und läd zum spazieren ein. Daher musste ich zumindestens ein paar Punkte geben.

Das Geländer vor dem Bungalow war defekt, sowie auch die WC Spülung und der Wasserhahn im Badezimmer. Dieser tropfte permanent. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war grundsätzlich gut, aber sehr laut. Wie würden diese Unterkunft nicht mehr wählen.

• Alexandra (1/5): Vervelend - The beautyfull garden. Many birds and lovely animals. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience here. The accommodation was dirty (dirty underpants from a previous guest were still on a bathroom cabinet), the broken bathroom mirror was in pieces in the cabine. No new mirror reinstalled. The kitchen was sticky in many places. No mosquito screens or properly closing windows and/or doors, which meant that there were a lot of mosquitoes and other creatures in the room. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but decided to leave the next morning. We were also asked to pay for the second night. Even though there was no other guest. (she used this argument to charge the 2nd night anyway). After many messages with Booking and this landlord, she wanted to offer a small compensation, which ultimately never worked out, because they were unable to do so. It left us with a very unpleasant feeling and cost us a lot of (frustrated) time during our holiday.

• Tyler (7/5): Beautiful location with friendly family staff and delicious breakfast! - The staff (family) was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. The breakfast was delicious and quick, and the landscape was beautiful as well! I chose this location based off of pictures, but I wish I would have done a bit more research before booking. There was no closet or ability to hang clothes, for example. There was also no air conditioning, fans, or hot water, and there were several cracks in the walls.

• Cathrine (9/5): Wonderful location, beautiful grounds, very hospitable hosts! - Orlando and his family are absolutely wonderful hosts. Friendly and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. Orlando took the time to walk my daughter and I around the property and pointed out different flora and fauna. Woke up to the sounds of birds every morning then had a wonderful breakfast served in the breakfast room at their home. Highly recommend!

• Galmogy (3/5): Poor - - Room was filthy and uncomfortable,worse yet, the floor is very noticeably tilted... 4-7 degrees... I have never seen anything like that. There is a hammock outside for those who want to escape the tilted bed, but as it turned out, the hammock had only one rope attached, so no luck with that either. Really unpleasant experience
• Sergio (8/5): Very good - Good traditional breakfast served by the owner. Considering the place is located near other houses in town, there could be a bit of noise from other properties that might affect your stay if you are too noise sensitive
• Erica (7/5): Wooden cabins in a large garden - Breakfast was nice, the gardens were very nice with plenty of squirrels and birds, the cabins were simple but cosy, the staff was nice too. There is sufficient parking. The smell in the bathroom since we arrived, the dampness of the room and lack of a/c to warm up a bit, the synthetic blankets which were too small for the bed and stick to your body because of the dampness of the room. The water of the shower was very mild/fresh. The cabins are basic so gekos and insects can come in from the floor tiles which are too large. You can see the grass beneath the wooden floor.

• Robert (8/5): Great hospitality, comfortable cabin, beautiful environment and gardens. - The breakfast was typical and the location was beautiful with great service and lovely gardens. Peaceful and quiet in the night. The owners were lovely and helpful, Orlando helped me with a car problem with his mechanic friend. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple cabin in a beautiful environment. No stress. We slept like babies! We were happy with our stay. No complaints.
