The entire building and surrounds have been immaculately restored, and the individual rooms are exceptionally well appointed, spacious and comfortable, with all mod cons yet keeping faithfully to the original style and presentation.

The location next to the old historic pub (good food) and the ferry wharf is perfect, and their home cooked breakfasts are to die for!

- Anna (10/5): - Absolutely exceptional stay – I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The place was spotless, beautifully set up, and so comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough – if I could give it more thumbs up, I would in a heartbeat!
- Carrie (10/5): A renovated, historic gem with personalized service by the owners close to Maria Island - This is a really special place. A lovingly and stylishly renovated old stables and bakery building by the couple who own it -- the same people who welcome you when you arrive (with snacks and a glass of wine and fire going) and make you breakfast in the morning and help you plan your outings and driving routes. I happened to have the place to myself in the off-season (there are only three units, each spacious) but I would expect that this luxurious gem would be booked all the time. I loved the old beams with the original nails in them and barn doors and huge tub. Every aspect of this place has a story. I appreciate that they accommodated my vegan diet. It's conveniently located by Maria island (walk to the ferry) and a short drive up to Freycinet Park or down to Port Arthur or even over to Hobart. I wish I had stayed more than one night!
- Elaine (10/5): Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous! - Cannot recommend this place enough, a beautiful property, restored with all modern amenities.
