• narelle (4/5): - The birds and free mangoes were good. Breakfast, left in the fridge, was plentiful. The bed was comfy and TV very clear. Wifi access/internet, though advertised as basic, was virtually inexistant, despiste requests.Travellers, especially from overseas, need access to explore the area and make plans and bookings. The area outside of the cottage needs TLC: a ripped black plastic sheet on a steel fence was our view, the garden seat broke due to age and sun-damage, there was no protection from direct Sun at the table (umbrella ? cover?) It has the makings of becoming a lovely oasis. Internet is essential.

• Paul (4/5): Wish I stayed home was not happy and found it a waste of money the one thing we wanted we didn’t get - Great location nice and clean We wanted a spa bath the whole reason we got somewhere locally for the night and we could not use due to the jets blowing black stuff into the bath,we emptied and filled back up with black stuff blown in once again,we tried one more time in the morning hoping we might eventually get what we came here for but disappointed once again

• Dennis (10/5): Exceptional - Our first time in a B&B. Was tucked away in a persons backyard and very quiet. Spa was huge and everything worked. Cupboards and fridge was well stocked. Just need signs for directions to unit because we ended up on the wrong side of the fence.

Overlooking construction site, breakfast was literally kids packets of cocoa pops or frozen bread. Walk thru someone's yard with barking dog.

• Matthew (6/5): Exceptional bathroom and spa bath, but otherwise ... meh. - The #1 feature was the bathroom. Fresh and modern with a large spa bath. Wall-mounted TV with Netflix, which could be swivelled to watch from the bed. The host was lovely for the short time we saw her. This was a lot less glamorous than I expected. From outside it was an old weatherboard building at the rear of a home, with no outlook, and right next to a construction zone on the same site. Inside it was small, with low ceiling and squeaky bed. Adequate but not spacious or luxurious.

• Fiona (9/5): Quaint cottage with outstanding bathroom - A hidden gem of a cottage decorated in a quirky shabby chic style which makes it unique to many places. The highlight is definitely the spa bath, but the whole bathroom is large and luxurious. The living part of the cottage is cosy, and suited for a single person or couple. There is plenty of equipment, all you could need. The Swansea lake beach nearby is lovely, especially on hot summer days. The continental breakfast is a little sparse on cereals. Some muesli might have been nice.

It said it included breakfast but we couldn't have it as things were out of date. Bed was uncomfortable. No sponge to wash dishes. We tried to sit outside at the table and small bugs kept on coming on us so we had to stay inside. Cockroach in bed.

Very clean Just a small feedback - keep a dustpan and brush to clean up. Since all the cutlery and fridge was there, it would have been bonus if they could have had a single gas top with basic frying pan to make simple breakfast.

• Lynnette (10/5): Great place to relax - This was our 5th stay, it is always so welcoming as soon as you open the door it has a beautiful clean smell, fridge is stocked with breakfast items and treats if desired, and of course the huge spa bath to just sit back and relax. Followed by a super comfy bed for the night. Swansea Workers club is a short stroll away if you like a nice meal and a few quite drinks.

Not being able to cook so stay was good for a couple days but wouldn’t be as doable for a longer stay it would get too expensive to go out for dinner every night otherwise there were no issues

• Malcolm (3/5): Disappointing and stressful - The spa was good, I can't write any more as there is nothing The lack of some necessary items, (food & crockery) requiring a call to get them delivered. Not a continental breakfast supplied as per booking. A half full open smelly bottle of milk left in fridge. Open used containers of food, (I would not eat non sealed products). The reason for this was given as a new cleaner being used. This led to us wondering if this person had actually changed bed linen. making it an uncomfortable and stressful stay. We only stayed as we were tired and did not want to go looking for another place. We got out of the place quickly in the morning.

The host's attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy outdoor seating area where I enjoyed evening sunsets. Moreover, the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering helpful tips on local attractions and dining options. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience. nothing at all
• Adam (9/5): Neat & Tidy lodgings - Clean and tidy Well equipped Well stocked fridge and plenty to use for a nice breakfast. Owners very responsive to messages and very nice. Nothing really. We just felt a bit awkward walking through someone's back gate and into their backyard, but the path to the accommodation was very private so it didn't really seem to encroach on anyone.

• Lisa (7/5): Great place to stay - It was clean and tidy, and breakfast was good. It was close to the Swansea shops and the lake. The information given to us by the host was helpful. The spa bath (which we did not use) had lots of things to add to the water. It was quiet and peaceful It was a bit hard to find it at first. We did arrive in the dark. The view is a building site which we were told about, so we knew that. It has a small sleeping area, but the bathroom is huge. I would have liked a top sheet.
