Guest Reviews
- Steve (10/5): Absolutely fantastic - Location if very good, but the breakfast was fantastic.
Also provided us with parking pass for Sandbanks park all was good
- Raveendran (10/5): Wonderful Weekend Getaway - Gabby and Tom are very hospitable hosts. From start to finish we were relaxed and taken care of. The breakfast was great as well. Nothing, it was a perfect stay for us
Lit super confortable.
- Darren (10/5): - Knowledgeable, super friendly owners serving delicious breakfasts and tasty coffee.
Beautiful accommodations that seamlessly blended updated amenities while maintaining the heritage of an 1800s property.
Merci infiniment !
Mireille et Réal ☺️ Rien. Tout nous plaisait!
- Colin (10/5): -
- Debby (10/5): Thank you for a wonderful experience. We hope to be back. - Breakfasts were great. Each day there was something different. Always served in a timely fashion but we did not feel rushed. Very accommodating to our every whim. The access to the water including canoes to borrow (for free) were an unexpected bonus. We didn't need to walk to the beach because we could paddle there. The hosts were very informative about local dining places for suppers. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Karen (9/5): Wonderful! will stay again - Breakfast was great, Gabby is a great cook. On our last day, she sent us home with home made loaves of sour dough. That was very nice to top off the visit.
- kerry (10/5): Friendly perfect location exceptional i - Hosts are amazing
- Kelly (10/5): Excellent experience provided by warm, friendly hosts. They were most helpful in pointing out highlights of the area - Well maintained, very clean and tidy.
Good location- walking distance to many attractions Did not stay long enough to find any faults

- Glenn (10/5): A terrific stay at a terrific place with terrific hosts. Loved it ❤️ - Terrific location in Wellington, beautifully peaceful backyard deck on the Lilly padded waterfront, we were in room #1 which is spacious and very nicely appointed. Our hosts Gabby and Tom are friendly and efficient, they have thought of everything. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. It was a terrific stay at a terrific place with terrific hosts. Loved it ❤️ Everything was excellent
- MARY LENA (10/5): - L'accueil chalereux. Les installations. Le village.
- Sarah (9/5): Great location, Gaby and Tom were amazing! -
- Eva (10/5): Loved it - just what we needed. - Hadovka Lakeside Inn is a gem - our room (and the bed) were extremely comfortable, hosts were super helpful and breakfast was delicious. The location is also perfect for PEC daytrips and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and to town. A bit of choice for breakfast would have been great, but this was really not a big deal.
- Beatrice (9/5): Si nous avon l’occasion nous y reviendrons - L’accueil, le service, le paysage, les petits déjeuners, tout était bien, une auberge charmante Rien
- Cameron (9/5): Gabby and Tom are wonderful hosts. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Thank you so much - Breakfast was freshly made, large portion size and delicious. Yummy!
Rien

- Anthony (10/5): We had a fantastic break in Wellington and Gabi and Tom were fantastic hosts. - Gabi and Tom were amazing hosts. They greeted us on arrival, were friendly and personable, provided a wealth of information about the local area, with lots of tips on what to do and where to go. Nothing was to much trouble and they thought of all the little things like providing beach towels and umbrella when we went to the beach. Gabi's breakfasts were delicious and she also provided us with wonderful packed lunches when required. We booked a wine tour with Tom and he selected the most interesting wineries to visit - thoroughly enjoyed! Nothing!
- Ahsan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect location, delicious breakfast and amazing hosts - The location is perfect and such a beautiful spot at the end of the garden to sit by the water

- Bookingr (10/5): Remarkable stay - Hadovka Lakeside Inn is a great place to spend a few days in Wellington! The hosts Gabi and Tom are very kind, warm, and very happy to share tips about what to do in the area. Gabi's breakfasts are so delicious and plentiful! The room was spotless, spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to beach and city's central places. The backyard, facilities and view are awesome! N/A
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful hosts and beautiful place
- Miriam (10/5): Lovely & generous hosts! Gaby is an awesome cooker. She makes delicious & healthy breakfasts!! - Everything! Gaby & Tom are wonderful hosts. I loved that they think of every detail to make your stay comfortable (cold water bottles, beach towels, etc.). They also upgraded us to a room with bathrooms (I wasn’t aware that I booked a room without bathrooms and didn’t even had to ask:) Non
- Jeffrey (9/5): Fantastic, intimate B&B with great hosts and great food. - This is a lovely, intimate B&B in Wellington in Prince Edward County (half way between the 1000 Islands in NY - Clayton and Alexandria Bay, and Toronto). It's a residential home (as most are), on the smaller side, with onsite parking, a community dining room and several bedrooms. The best is the upstairs suite (just 10 or so stairs, but not accessible for those who can't walk stairs) with a private balcony (that doubles as a private entrance from the parking driveway), that looks out on the inlet and Lake Ontario. It's an A-Frame type with a lovely bathroom, sitting room with a fridge, and main bedroom with a TV and electric fireplace. Unlike many BB&'s that are a bit "precious" with antiques and doilies, this is clean and more modern. The bed is very comfy and the room is roomy - about 20'x15' for the bedroom and an additional 10'x10' or so for the bathroom and 8'x8' or so for the sitting area. Plenty of space.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful with lots of tips about the area, as well as Tornoto which is where they last lived. The wife, Gabi, is an excellent cook. Her breakfasts and baking (outstanding rhubarb muffins, eggs benedict, and fluffy pancakes, to name a few), are to die for. And the home is near the Sand Dune beach, Lake on the Mountain, local beaches, lots of restaurants (try the Drake - outdoor on the Lake with excellent food not the least of which is their duck wings and cornbread), and close to the other main towns such as Picton and Belleville (visit the new/used bookstore in Belleville called Paraphenalia - it's small but has a great, puzzles, and British stuff). Gabi also lights a fire in the yard, which is at least half an acre, each night weather permitting. There were even swans in the inlet at the end of the yard. Highly recommended. No complaints at all.
- Hendricus (9/5): perfect! - The personal attention we received was beyond all expectations! Gabi's breakfast is absolutely super! The room is a bit small, but this is on the other hand to be expected given the age of the building.
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice little B&B, good location, Gabi and Tom are terrific hosts. Thank you so much! It was a very pleasant stay.
- Brennan (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, delicious breakfasts, and lovely owners. I cannot recommend it enough!
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - Gabby and Tom were amazing hosts ans made us very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful and we will be back again.
- Miroslav (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (10/5): Amazing comfortable - Location
Amazing property relaxing by the water
Access to kayaks and canoes
Nightly fire pit in Muskoka chairs
Delicious breakfast
Water available in fridge
- Toadbud (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great for my purpose. The hosts were accommodating and friendly.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic breakfast... exceptional hospitality. Very welcoming and friendly. You immediately feel part of the family. Very historic building with all the character from the 1800's. That we could only stay 2 days due to other commitments.
- Ala (10/5): Wonderful place for short vacation - We spent 4 nights in Hadovka. Great location, cute Inn, room is not big but very comfortable. Very tasty breakfasts. Gabriella and Tom are exceptional hosts. They create really good and warm atmosphere for their guests to enjoy area and Sandbanks. Adorable waterfront backyard where you can see swans and ducks. We will be happy to stay in Hadovka again and will recommend it to our friends and family
- Daniela (10/5): Lovely stay in Wellington - Wonderful owners who welcomed us in this comfortable and lovely inn. We had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts were delicious. We also received a loaf of homemade sourdough bread upon our departure. Location was perfect for getting around PEC, while still being fairly quiet. Everything was great.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregory (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing getaway with incredible owners. - The home was beautiful and incredibly well situation. Only a short walk to the town, a few minutes to the beach, and with a lovely rear garden backing onto the water. The room was wonderful, much lovelier in person than in pictures. Owners were so kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious both days. Overall a fantastic stay and will definitely come back.
- Gavinbtoronto (9/5): Welcoming, knowledgeable hosts. A lovely 1830s home. Delicious breakfast. Awesome location. - The breakfast was awesome every single day. The crowning glory - the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. It was the grand finale of our stay.
- Yacine (10/5): If you`re looking for the best spot in PEC, look no more - Hosts Gabi and Tom make you fell at home from the moment you set foot. Hospitality is at its best. They will go beyond to make your stay enjoyable
On top of that, Gabi is great chef and the breakfasts are simply delicious Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marnie (10/5): We love wellington now! - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to wellington. The B&B was clean and comfortable- we had a smallish room with a separate bathroom but did not have much gear and so it wasn't an issue. It was enough space for the two of us and felt very homely. The bathroom that is separate is very clean, was directly opposite the bedroom and was comfortable to use- it was only for our use during our stay. The on-site parking was straightforward. Gaby and Tom are excellent hosts, keen to get their guests as excited about Wellington as they are. Their recommendations were honest and very useful to help us make every day enjoyable - we loved the county cider company tasting and food and la condesa, the local Mexican restaurant. The breakfast was cooked by Gaby each morning and was delicious, accompanied by loads of coffee to perk us up. The beach is just behind the house, <7 min walk away and we enjoyed a sea dip each day. We would happily come back and stay and would recommend it to friends and family. Nothing, it was great.
- Marvin (9/5): Superb -
- Sherri (10/5): AMAZING PLACE - Everything about Hadovka was perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Room was large with a private balcony. Breakfasts were home cooked and the hosts offered to make us whatever we wanted...and also we could have the breakfast at any time in the morning. N/A
- Vinicius (10/5): Very positive experience!! - Hadovka Lakeside Inn is an extremely cozy and charming accommodation in a fantastic location. I highly recommend Hadovka Lakeside Inn.

- Ludmila (7/5): Good - Breakfasts were so delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the sourdough bread!!! Gabi helped us with biking route to wineries and breweries.
Tom reserved the parking pass to Sandbanks provincial park! It was great! Older building. Limited parking.
- Panagiota (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): Excellent place to stay if you're visiting prince edward county! - The breakfast was delicious and both hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. They were very helpful providing great recommendations on things to do around the town and also were able to get us a permit to go to sandbank beach without any problem! Would highly recommend them to anyone coming here!
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - The place is absolutly beautiful and charming, also at 2 min walk from the Wellington beach. I did’nt feel the need to go further (Sandbanks).
What to say about the Hosts Tommy and Gaby. They are attending you outside with the big smile for your check in. They Take Time to welcome you on a nd gives you alot of informations what to do during your vacation, where to go eat… what is in the area. The made feel confortable right away! Tommy is a barista! Making the tasteast coffee… i took more then i should have. Gaby is a masterchef in the kitchen! Serving you breakfast (included during your stay) like she was up all night waiting for you (ready and smile on). Do say « yes » for the fresh pressed orange juice. It’s a must. Pancakes… worth the 4 hours travelling! Imagine! You have to come here! Everything was Perfect!
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Hart (8/5): excellent small B and B with excellent hosts! - lovely small B and B in Wellington. Short easy walk to restaurants in town. close to beaches. great for a relaxing short stay. breakfast was ample---and sourdough bread was to "die for"!
- Denis (10/5): A much needed and relaxing vacation, enhanced by the choice of lodging. Would certainly stay here again. - A lovely old house with a great yard. The gazebo was a great spot to sit and contemplate nature after a day of wine tasting or park excursions. Breakfast was exceptional, different everyday and rivaling the best restaurants. And the homemade sourdough bread was just wow! Gabbi and Tom were superbe hosts, going out of their way to help with park reservations, recommendations for places to visit, and just being all around great people.
- Rosalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (10/5): Would come back. Great value. - Great location, helpful staff, amazing breakfast, comfy bed.
- Rachel (9/5): Amazing breakfasts and friendly owners! - The owners, Gabi and Tom, are very friendly and communicated quickly when we had a question. They had maps of Prince Edward County vineyards, the Millenium Bike Trail and Sandbanks Provincial Park for us to use. Gabi went onto Sandbanks Provincial Park website to make sure there were openings for us at the park, so we could enjoy the beach- hiking trail before we went. The location of Hadovka Inn is very close to Wellington beach and the property is on a quiet marshland. It was great to take a glass of wine down to the chairs on the dock and watch the birds and ducks in the evenings. The best things were Gabi's breakfasts!! They were delicious and very filling and kept us going until dinner time. She even gave us a fresh loaf of her sourdough bread when we were checking out! This is something you don't get at other places.
- Malgorzata (10/5): Perfect location with best ever breakfasts - Perfect location for your stay in Prince Edward County. Beautiful property with views of the water where you can relax in the evening. The room was large, comfortable, and looked better than in pictures. The hosts are welcoming and very organized. Responding to messages promptly. Their recommendations of places to visit and eat were spot-on. The highlights of the stay were breakfasts; we had breakfast burritos and blueberry pancakes. Both amazing. We will definitely come back. N/A
- Jared (10/5): A wonderful stay with top of the line hosts - The breakfast that Gabi prepared was excellent. Well rounded and absolutely delicious! The only thing negative thing I could say is the bedroom was a little warm for sleeping. The fan that was provided did help though!
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, friendly and helpful hosts, delicious breakfast, nice privacy of accommodations
- Annie (10/5): great location, beautifully clean, has everything you need. we had a wonderful welcome and can’t say enough good things - everything! nothing!
