• Alina (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt - Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und konnten den Schlüssel schon früher bekommen. Wir wurden dann auch noch mit einem Zimmerupgrade überrascht. Das Zimmer war hervorragend und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Man hat hier an alles gedacht. Besonders schön war das Frühstück im Garten in der Sonne mit Blick auf die Hühner. Auch das Glashaus sah sehr einladend aus. Die Brenners wohnen in einer kleinen Oase. Man kann auch in 7 Minuten zur Stadtmauer von Nördlingen laufen. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Absolut nichts.

• Ayca (10/5): Best place we stayed at during our trip to Germany - My mom and I loved everything about Unter den Linden. It was on a beautiful, quiet street just a short walk from the city gate. Our room was so clean, had every amenity we needed; the beds were very comfortable. The room was spacious and decorated so tastefully. The owners, Jutta und Olaf were lovely people and we truly enjoyed meeting and speaking with both. There was nothing we did not like :)

• Ingrid (10/5): Sehr gerne wieder! - Wir waren im März drei Nächte „Unter den Linden“ und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man erreicht zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten die Nördlinger Stadtmauer und Altstadt. Besonders toll war das Frühstück im Gewächshaus. Wie bei einem englischen Bed & Breakfast wählt man am Abend vorher, was man zum Frühstück haben möchte. Angerichtet war es für uns auf einer Etagere im (beheizten) Gewächshaus mit Ausblick auf den Garten und die vier Hühner 😊 Die Gastgeber hatten auch gute Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Sehr gerne wieder!

• Bernd (10/5): Zu Gast bei Freunden! Eine absolute Empfehlung. - Wir wurden äußerst herzlich empfangen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden uns die wichtigsten Informationen zur Unterkunft mitgeteilt und es wurden uns örtliche Tips für unseren Aufenthalt angeboten. Wir fühlten uns von Beginn an willkommen. Das Frühstück wird in einem sehr gemütlichen Garten-/ Gewächshaus serviert und ist sehr liebevoll angerichtet. -

Breakfast is outstanding: you can choose what you want the day before, and everything arrives very fresh. Since it was cold, we were able to have breakfast in the room, which was great! The hosts are very friendly. It’s a pity we didn’t get to see their dog.

Der Herr und die Herrin des Hauses waren ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und haben uns alles sehr gut erklärt und gezeigt. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll gepflegt, besonders der zauberhafte Garten. Das Frühstück im Garten im Glashaus war einfach wunderschön und ein echtes Highlight. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man sich nur wünschen konnte. Die Lage ist perfekt – nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt. Insgesamt waren wir rundum sehr zufrieden. Ein ganz besonderer Ort, den wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden.
• Claudia (10/5): Schöne Auszeit in tollem Ambiente :-) - Meine Schwester und ich wurden sehr herzlich von Herrn Brenner empfangen...das Zimmer Marienhöhe ist ganz toll unter dem Dach und sehr gemütlich....man hat die Möglichkeit, sich einen Tee oder Kaffee im Zimmer zu kochen und das Frühstück ist in dem super schönen Glashaus im Garten. Dort war es weihnachtlich dekoriert,es gab einen Adventskranz, war sehr gemütlich und geheizt. Man kann sich Kaffee, Marmelade, Butter etc.selbst nehmen und alles andere wurde auf einer schönen Etagere vom Besitzer gebracht und toll angerichtet. Das Ehepaar ist sehr freundlich und im Garten laufen die Hühner. Man schläft ruhig und entspannt. Sehr zu empfehlen 😊💐 Es war alles top.

• Susan (10/5): Enchanting B&B - Perfect location in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walk from the walled Old Town with free parking. Olaf, the owner, was a perfectly charming host. We stayed in the ground floor, Brenner’s Garten, room with 3 large windows overlooking the beautiful yard. It was the perfect size - large enough for our many pieces of large luggage, yet still cozy. Room was silent and we slept so well, and they even left little bedside chocolates. A delicious breakfast was served in the heated greenhouse by chandelier overlooking the pretty hens fluttering outside. We felt spoiled and so happy we booked this delightful B&B. Perfect for visiting Nördlingen, Augsburg, Dinkelsbühl, and Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

• Niclas (10/5): A breakfast in the league of its own - Let's start with the breakfast. It was delicious, fresh, comfortable and private. You get to have breakfast in your room but the things you ordered was places outside your door. Lovely view from the windows overlooking the garden with hens roaming around, we saw a squirrel running on the fence too. It was a cozy room that had everything you needed with a great wooden floor. We experienced that the room was a little bit cold even with the radiators going, But nothing the bed covers or a hoodie couldn't fix.
• Beate (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und charmant eingerichtet, ruhige Lage und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Alles ist vorhanden. Die Entfernung zur Stadtmitte ist fussläufig leicht zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer bot einen herrlichen Blick zum Garten. Das Frühstück in dem wunderschönen Wintergarten hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen und der Blick in den traumhaften winterlichen Garten war geradezu magic! Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder!

• Lars (9/5): Tolle Location etwas außerhalb der Altstadt von Nördlingen - Schön ausgebautes Dachgeschoss in Gartenlaube, Frühstück im Wintergarten (nach Bestellung). Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Die Duschkabine ist für große Menschen eine arge Zumutung. Die Fenster sind leider wenig wirksam was die Dämpfung von Außengeräuschen angeht (Verkehr, Glocken). Das WiFi war instabil.

Vielen Dank. - Wir haben die Übernachtung auf unserer Rückreise aus Italien an einen schönen Platz an Rand der Altstadt von Nördlingen machen können. Ein schönes Zimmer, eine freundliche Begegnung mit den Gastgebern sowie ein persönlich zusammengestelltes Frühstück im Gartenhaus innerhalb des schönen Spätsommergartens haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht.

• Andreas (10/5): Extraordinary service, amazing hosts and a nice and soft bed. I haven’t stayed anywhere with this much value for money. - We stayed in the Ladybug room upstairs. It was cozy, clean and well-tempered. The bathroom seemed recently renovated. The shower had running hot water. We went as a couple, and both slept like babies in the bed. My girlfriend is pretty picky considering beds and pillows - she always brings her own pillow everywhere, but she didn’t even need it. So the beds are great! Which is rare to come across, but very important to mention. The breakfast is simple, but delicious. Different types of bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese and eggs from own hens. The hosts, a man and a woman (whom I presume are married), are the most nice, welcoming and extroverted people you will meet. They give you a map of the town Nördlingen and mark the points of interest. They speak English fluently, so we had no problem communicating. They are very service minded, and they are actually the ones preparing the breakfast. Amazing service! Last, but not least, is the town Nördlingen. This town is amazing. It’s what I would call a little gem, and it quite literally is. The history of it, in short; an asteroid crashed and made a crater, which the people of Germany built a wall around a long time ago. Inside of that wall, Nördlingen was then made. It’s such a charming and unique little town. If you know Nördlingen because of the Anime Attack on Titan, I would 100% recommend going there. It’s why I went, and it was worth it. The amazing service, clean room, soft bed and sweet hosts was a very nice “cherry on top” 🍒 If you are going to Nördlingen, I highly recommend staying at Bed and Breakfast Unter den Linden, as it is extraordinary value for your money. 😄

• Sophie (4/5): Disappointing stay - Large room The hosts do not provide instructions prior to the stay which created a lot of confusion. My dad had to wait for 2 hours until other guests arrived to enter the property. The hosts were not answering the phone either. The room is large but rather dark, the kettle needs cleaning and therefore couldn’t be used. Disappointing stay due to lack of responsiveness from the hosts.

Breakfast was served in a lovely greenhouse. - Hosts Jutta and Olaf are delightful people, very hospitable and helpful with luggage and sightseeing suggestions. The room was under the roof, with lots of space. Price very reasonable. Because of our age we would have preferred to stay in a ground floor room, but Olaf carried our suitcases up and down the spiral staircase.

• Metallirys (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed just for one night while visiting the medieval old town of Nördlingen in the upstairs room "Marienhöhe"and the cozy "Oskar Meyer" room with the canopy bed. Both rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was awesome and served in the wonderful living room of our hosts (since the conservatory was a bit too cold late December) with a lot of vegetarian choices. Walking to the old city gates takes about 10 minutes. The hosts were very helpful in providing tourist information on sightseeing and restaurants and we loved their dog Lilo. Public parking is super easy in front of the house. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nördlingen and can absolutely recommend this place.

The room was generous, with a modern layout, and a sparkling clean bathroom. Many extra touches made us feel very welcome, including a well-stocked coffeebar, good lighting, nice linens, and a fabulous breakfast in the greenhouse in the backyard. How special! Our host was a delight! We highly recommend this B&B and this location if you want to explore old Nordlingen, another gem on the Romantic Road. We enjoyed every minute here!

Convenient parking on the street in front. A short walk into town. We're grateful to have been given the room upgrade because the room we had booked was street facing and may have been a bit noisy for us.

Olaf and Jutta were very friendly and helpful. We were quite confused when we arrived, because there was no parking on the street and the driveway was full of cars. We ended up driving around for awhile until we found a park in a nearby street. It would have been good to have some parking directions prior to arrival. The floorboards were the squeakiest I have ever come across. It was very noisy when people went up or down the stairs to the room above, and we could hear every step taken once they reached the room. People started making coffee using the very noisy machine outside our door at 6 am.

If you are very tall, the room on the top floor might be a little uncomfortable for you but for us South Africans it was a unique experience to stay in the attic.

• Michael (9/5): Friendly, helpful hosts; good breakfast; comfortable spacious room - Ten minutes walk from the old town, therefore quite convenient. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large, with table and chairs and a sofa. Breakfast was delicious. A visit would be even better in the summer, with a beautiful garden, terrace and conservatory where one can eat breakfast. As it was winter, we had breakfast in our room, although on the one day on which other family members were staying in another room, our hosts served breakfast to all of us in their dining room. The shower is not surrounded, so that it is difficult to take a shower without soaking the bathroom floor. A curtain would be a good idea. We had the attic room, which was large and comfortable, but, because of the steeply sloping roof, there was little useful storage space for clothes.
• Kendell (10/5): Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to book again - Everything was great. Parking was easy. The room was very comfortable and clean and well decorated. We had a tea kettle inside which was such a lovely addition. Shower was great and hot. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. Breakfast was exceptional and the owner was incredibly friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade which was much appreciated.
