• Mathew (9/5): Lovely, cosy place to stay with great facilities and extras - Lovely place and facilities, very spacious. Very clean and great products offered, like their continental breakfast and linen. The only reason I haven't given the venue top marks across the board, is for a venue that is marketed as a top of the line venue, I would say that the bed wasn't very comfortable, it was very hard. Other than that, I couldn't fault it and I'd say it's a great place to stay.

The front screen for suite 3 was faulty. The breakfast was basic , although there was a wide variety of milk options. There was no one at reception and had to call the number advertised several times .Message bank was full and had to wait around before we got a sms telling us whete the key was and further instructions.

• Mark (7/5): Loved the studio, but didn’t sleep well. - A lovely airy, spacious studio, perfect to stay comfortably for a few days. The fridge was well stocked and some cooking facilities provided. The spa bath was a wonderful bonus. The cleanliness and general maintenance was not up to scratch, generally it was very good, but attention to detail was lacking. We found cutlery not properly cleaned inside the drawer, a smudge of something on one of the bed cushions and crumbs lodged in the placemats. The bed was *hard!* uncomfortably so. Little notes everywhere, serve only to irritate, perhaps a folio of guest responsibilities and helpful information would work better, and displaying dates of awards ten years and older is not encouraging. A lovely place; just needs a gardener and an update. Maybe a new cleaner.

Its quiet location was perfect to de-stress from the hustle of city living and the local wildlife (the Sulphur Crest) was a nice change for us from the hum of traffic and sirens. I would absolutely recommend Creek Cottage as a quaint and wholesome get away, and even though the rooms are getting a little tired they were very clean and there were little touches that you just don’t get in a hotel (breakfast, little cakes and a chocolate, fresh eggs plenty of milk, loads of tea and a proper coffee maker with pods and even a splash of cherry all inclusive)

I wasn't able to confirm checkin time so can understand why air-conditioning wasn't turned on when I arrived but highly recommend doing so if it's a hot day. There was cockateils screeching all through the night including at 3am which was really weird. It's probably just this particular time of year. I wish I'd brought earplugs, as I'm a light sleeper.

It feels like a home away from home and Leiana has thought of everything that a guest could need - from the well stocked fridge to the treats around the place from lollies to fruit. The location near the creek just calls you to get out and walk and communication and responsiveness is tops. I will be back soon. Nothing - I love everything about this place.

• Daniel (10/5): Choose this place if you're staying in Traralgon for a few days or more! - A great surprise, not at all like a place you normally find on Booking.com! This is a beautifully appointed unit, with serious charm to make it a true home away from home. Great beds, quiet area, good undercover parking, very clean & neat and I have to admit I loved the little treats of food, special locally made biscuits, decent coffee, that you never get in other places! Having Netflix there to watch on a big screen TV after a big day of driving was really great too. The owners were super helpful and great with their communication too. Pick this place first in you're staying in this part of country VIC. Only that I could not have stayed for longer. No negatives at all.

We were told cottage 3 but couldn't find a cottage. Turns out the cottage was a room in the pictured house. Wifi password in the room was wrong had trouble getting the right one. Expected cooked breakfast but food was left for us to cook our own eggs and everything else was continental.
