• Gordon (9/5): An excellent option for visiting Vancouver if you don't need to be downtown. Clean and comfortable - Clean with a great view of North Shore mountains. Good location and nice hosts. The kitchenette is conveniently located. The winter breakfast is basic but there is a fridge and microwave available. Some reviews have commented on the narrow street when parking, but it's really not a concern for most vehicles. I prefer a firmer mattress.

She is very musical too, and even accompanied our daughter on the piano as she was practicing her singing for an upcoming performance. We also loved the homemade yogurt which was served at breakfast.

Hosts were friendly and provided some guidance, but wished they had a map to show local bus lines, which are close and convenient but no resources are provided. The quiet hours guidelines are not listed on the ad, and include no showering between certain hours, which should have been in original ad, as it can impact planned activities.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Brief 2 night stay - Location was good. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and excellent bedding made it a joy to sleep in. Hosts are warm and friendly and genuinely interested in their guests. All the 'quirks' of this property were fully explained in the confirmation email, so we knew what to expect. No plug for the bath...we looked everywhere, we did find one but it did not fit. Not being able to use kitchenette before 7am or after 10pm felt quite restrictive.

The room was clean, and breakfast included everything as described. I felt safe as a female solo traveller in the neighbourhood area and will gladly come back in the future.

The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for what I needed. No plug for the tub, the tap in the bathroom sink was too short for the sink, wifi inconsistent, cold breakfast was sparse, thermostat wasn't very responsive.
• judykball (10/5): A delightful stay, in a central location in a lovely neighborhood. - We had a lovely experience at the Vancouver Traveler B & B. Linda, our host was friendly and accommodating, even offering the use of a cane, as I arrived with a foot injury. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large enough bathroom and perfect shower. The central location, with parking in front of the house made coming and going easy. We also appreciated their quiet expectations between 10 pm and 7 am. Too often, we have stayed at noisy places, so this was a bonus. As it was off season, a full breakfast was not served. We were aware of this at the time of booking. However, there was homemade yoghurt, cereal and hard boiled eggs and facilities for making coffee and tea, in the kitchenette outside our room All in all it was a very positive experience and we will definitely plan on staying there again, on subsequent visits to Vancouver.

• Astrid (10/5): Excellent for independent travellers. - It was in a quiet neighbourhood and was easy to get to and from the downtown Vancouver area. The house is well maintained, clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and I had absolute privacy. The host Linda was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Nothing.
• Christiane (10/5): Un vrai B&B, de loin le meilleur logement de notre sejour de 3 semaines dans l'ouest canadien - Tout était parfait : l'accueil, la gentillesse des propriétaires, la chambre, le petit déjeuner (très varié), la convivialité autour de la table du petit déjeuner (ce qui fait le charme d'un B&B) Les propriétaires sont très disponibles pour nous conseiller et nous indiquer les endroits intéressants dans Vancouver. Elles ont même mis à notre disposition des cartes de bus (qui est la meilleure option pour visiter le centre ville). On peut garer très facilement la voiture dans la rue devant le B&B. RAS

Auch die Lage war sehr gut: In einem sehr schönen Viertel mit schönen Alleen, was gleichzeitig aber sehr nah an der Innenstadt liegt, welche zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus einfach zu erreichen ist. • Evelyn (10/5): We will definitely stay at this B&B again on our next trip to Vancouver. This place is a gem! - Linda & Jenny were excellent hosts. The morning breakfasts were healthy & homemade. Staying at this B&B felt like a home away from home. I loved that the property was on a quiet street & centrally located to places I wanted to go to. Staying at Linda & Jenny’s B&B was extremely pleasant & I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay while they’re in Vancouver. The only negative was the street closure while very we’re staying there. We needed to park on a side street during the week; however, the closures were due to the city of Vancouver. Very minor & if did not effect our stay.

• Karsten (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Stadtteil - Eine sehr großartige Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, wir waren für 2 Nächte dort und hatten uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Jenny und Linda waren tolle Gastgeber, das selbstgemachte Frühstück war lecker, ebenso die netten Frühstücks-Gespräche mit den anderen internationalen Gästen. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und groß, unser Badezimmer ebenso. Parkplätze gab es vor der Haustür, das WLan war kostenlos und funktionsfähig. Die Unterkunft lag ca. 10 Gehminute von einer Bushaltestelle entfernt, so dass wir die Ausflugtipps von Linda bequem erreichen konnten. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir danke euch 2 für die tollen Tage bei euch

Das Frühstück ist excellent - das Zimmer gemütlich und bequem. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Anbindung aus dem Wohnviertel in die anderen Stadtteile mit dem Bus ist sehr gut.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely accommodations and hosts - The B&B is located in a lovely residential area close enough to shopping and restaurants that we walked, although others might find the distance better suited to a quick car ride. The accommodation itself was spotless and the hosts were lovely and accommodating, providing a delicious, hot breakfast (accommodating vegetarian and non-dairy) each morning. We could not have asked for more.

• Jo (10/5): Warm hospitality and spotless comfort – a true home away from home - This recently built, modern house is located in a quiet residential area just outside the city centre. You can leave your car parked on the street (for free!) and take the bus to the city centre – you’ll be at Canada Place in about 30 minutes. The room – and the entire house – is impeccably clean, perhaps thanks to the “no outdoor shoes indoors” policy. The room is tastefully and neatly decorated, and we really loved the style. There’s a shared kitchenette available for guests, though we didn’t use it much during our stay. Linda and her family are wonderfully warm and welcoming, always ready with tips and advice to help you make the most of your visit. The delicious breakfast is different every day and served at a large dining table, where guests can enjoy friendly conversation – with Linda happily joining in. This was, without a doubt, the very best accommodation we stayed in during our three-week road trip! For us, it was no issue at all, but it’s worth noting that there are a few house rules to follow, since the property is also Linda and her family’s home (and not just a guesthouse). These rules are clearly communicated right after booking, so you know exactly what to expect.

Sehr nette Inhaberin, wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Kostenloser Parkplatz vor der Tür. Für ein B&B relativ teuer, allerdings sind dies die normalen Preise für Vancouver.

De bus naar downtown stopt bijna voor de deur. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf en we bedanken Linda voor de goede zorgen.

Rooms are excellently furnished, and spotlessly clean .Located in a quiet residential area, which is ideal if you are using public transport as it is only a 10 minute bus ride to downtown. Breakfast was great had some of the best omelets I have ever eaten, well done Linda. I highly recommend

• Elina (9/5): A lovely place to stay - not a typical bed and breakfast - The property is immaculate, clean, and recently built. The hosts were kind and offered tips on things to see and do, and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning. The room included a full bath and was very comfortable and private. The location is not central, but there are convenient buses - we were able to get everywhere we wanted by foot or by bus. Overall, we had a lovely and very comfortable stay. To those who are looking for "old-timey" bed and breakfasts that really function as a hotel that's been handed over to guests - think shared living room space, garden seating, wine hour, etc., this is not it. As the hosts clearly explain to people who make a reservation, it's their home. While the downstairs has an area that I think guests could use, it really felt like the upstairs room was our space, and the downstairs was the hosts' space (and they use the space for piano and other lessons). As a result, we didn't really spend any time in the common areas, apart from breakfast. There's a no-shoes policy, as well as silence (including no showers or microwave) 10pm-7am.

• John (8/5): We liked it a lot, it is in a nice neighborhood, we very much liked the host and we would stay there again. - The owner and her family were very interesting, engaging and hospitable which is the primary goal we have in staying at B &Bs. Also, breakfasts were excellent. While the bedrooms are clean, well organized and well maintained, there are limited options outside the bedroom to stay and relax in the home.

Perfect for our needs. Breakfast was good but was prescriptive (little choice) which might be an issue to some people. Free parking in the street should not be an issue Nothing.

They even have shower gel, shampoo and conditioner to use. They even let us check our bags early because we arrived much earlier than our check in time. We had to leave lol
• Kathleen (9/5): Superb - A lovely B and B with easy access to Kitslano, beaches and Granville Island. Lynn was very welcoming and provided excellent breakfasts. There were 4 pillows on the bed and 2 were comfy. I would suggest changing out the other 2 as they were extremely firm.

It was a superb location that I chose specifically so I could park my big truck in a residential area. I was delighted about the comfort and privacy of the room as well as the cleanliness of the facility. The sheets were comfortable and through really contained everything I needed. I was there during the off-season so the warm breakfast wasn’t supply during my stay, but that was fine. The price is very reasonable and overall, I would stay there repeatedly due to the lovely location and the comfort of this stay.

Although it is a bit far away from down town, it is very close to major bus routes (Arbutus is half a block away, 16th, 25th Aves are close by with regular bus services). There is an excellent Italian restaurant within walking distance and a large grocery store very close by. Great place - don't change a thing!

• 869VictoriaE (8/5): Lovely location out of busy centre but easy access to sights - Read the great reviews do booked. We did think it was a little far out but it’s not. It’s a lovely quiet neighbourhood which was less than 30 min walk from the sea front and the main shopping/ eating area of Kitsilano. We also walked to Granville Island from there and caught the False Creek Ferry so it’s in a great location. Some rules to be aware of no shoes in house no use of shower/kitchenette between 10pm - 7am which caused us no issues at all. Really lovely room comfy bed and plenty of supplies. Lovely touch with shared kitchenette which was very well stocked and we were asked what milk we wanted and this was provided in the upstairs fridge. Breakfast was lovely variety each day and some of the best omelettes ever tasted. Lovely yoghurt and granola too always with a fresh fruit option. Nice to meet the other guests too. Linda and Jenny were lovely hosts so welcoming and interesting to chat to. Would recommend this place to stay

• Andreas (10/5): Very welcoming hosts, clean, new building (2016) and excellent breakfast! -
• Terre (10/5): Terrific find, this B&B offers great travel ‘home away from home!’ - Linda and her family made us feel right at home, nice conversations, good local information. The breakfast was excellent with a different plate served every morning. The 4 unit house allowed for good interaction with other guests. The location was very convenient for exploring greater Vancouver. Quiet neighborhood with street side parking.
