• Beccs (1/5): Very bad experience - Nothing 😐😔 My whole week was messed up starting from check-in on day one, and the experience was ruined because I had booked for 5 days. The room I was placed in on my first night was horrible. The walls were damp, it smelled terrible, and there were no dishes or anything else provided. The sheets were filthy, the bed felt like a rock, and I was forced to sleep there despite raising all of these issues with the cleaners, security, and the owner herself. Room 233 was our initial room, but the code wasn’t working and no one could assist. We were then moved to a different room, which was also horrible. I couldn’t sleep at all. No follow up call or something to check and to make up for all that becos they had already taken my money.

• Nomashalane (1/5): Never booking this hell of a place again🚮🚮 - Nothing, no Wi-Fi, TV not working, no communication The host doesn't care whether you are okay as long as he got his money you call him he doesn't respond or atleast return calls. There was no water I communicated with the host who just ignored and said nothing, we had to check out without taking a shower. The pictures displayed are not of the place you get allocated, the room had a very bad smell, slept with all windows open. Thank God we had booked for only one night, my mistake was to not check reviews first.

Couldn't even take photos as I could wait to get out of that damn place

The host is rude and I'll mannered, we called coz there were no tissues nor towels he said he is not available. 3 days no change of towels, to tissue, not dustbin, no cleaning.

There was no electricity we had to use our own money to buy electricity in the night and we were not refunded. The bedding were torn and dirty. Nothing works in this room (stove, TV, iron, microwave). When we contacted the host she was so rude and asked us never to contact her (which was so unfortunate because she put up a clause to not contact anybody else (not even security at the front desk if we had a query). This made our stay a nightmare. All the food staff we bought went bad and we had to depend on takeaways which was an expens not budgeted for. EVERYTHING

I paid for 2 nights, when I called before my arrival, the host told me there was no room, and gave an address to a dodgy house in a far away neighborhood. She then also told me I cannot get a refund and there's nothing she can do about it. This is FRAUD, you cannot advertise accommodation, let people pay for it, fail to inform them that the property is no longer available, fail to give my money back ( because I didn't cancel, instead the property refused to give me the accommodation that I paid for), and then refer me to a very dodgy random street house when heavens knows what could happen to me because this address given looks like a dilapidated property not suitable for accommodating any human being for any price. 23 Whitaker street Jeppestown- look it up on Google maps. Booking.com I appeal to you to deal with this property, and permanently remove them from your site. It is not only fraud, but a danger to people's lives. The security who was showing us the rooms was very helpful and friendly 261 had a strong fish smell and they had loadshedding all night n morning which made it difficult for us to go and we couldn't eat and bath. They're using openview for tv which we didn't like
