- john steven (9/5): Easy going chalet with modern conveniences - Good cooking facilities, nice bed, bathroom good All good. Bird life around the place very nice to hear cockatoos, galahs and kookaburra too.
- Bhavana (10/5): -
- parvez (2/5): Good spacious grounds but unsuitable property - It’s in a large orchard, big grounds Was totally misrepresented, it said it was a two bedroom but there was only one bedroom and an adjoining area with a bed put in, both beds were on a level above, bathroom was on the ground floor with a narrow staircase, bath tub had dust and grit along all the edges not clean, lounge area was dark as the windows are narrow, not suitable for anyone with a mobility issue or small children
- Jenny (8/5): - Good location not far to go out for dinner Nothing
- Ping (9/5): 度假休闲地。 - 安静得只听得到鸟叫。傢俱装饰古朴。在夕阳的余晖中从两侧的大树之间驶入时尤如进入故事之中。 如果有洗碗机就完美了。

- Suzanne (10/5): Got to stay at the Chalet! - The Chalet was just perfect for our stay. It had everything we could possibly want. All we had to bring was the fridge and pantry items we wanted for our stay, along with our belongings. The chalet is very tastefully decorated, has plenty of room, is located on beautiful grounds, and is only 10 minutes out of town. I would throughly recommend a stay here. We'll be back for sure. I would have liked to cook a cake or make some biscuits, but there weren't any trays or tins to enable this. Not a huge deal really.

- Damien (10/5): -
- Carol (8/5): - Loved my little studio and all the birdlife outside my door.
Nice and clean and cosy. Front door lock was an issue and needs to be fixed.
- Shurong (1/5): How did this property get 4 star? - none Don’t understand why this property is a 4 Star Hotel! We arrived around 2pm. There was no one in the reception, only an envelope on the door with a letter that tells us how to get the key and our room. I was told that my name was on the door of my room. However, I could not find a room with my name. I walk around the property that cabins are in different locations in the hot sun for more than 10 minutes. I finally found a man working in the garden. The kind gentleman helped me to find my room which no my name on the door.
The room was too old. There is a spider and dead insects in the bed. Many ants (live and dead) on the top of the kitchen. The door screen is broken and dusty, seems not cleaned for years.
The surrounding is like place abounded for ages with dirty floor, table and chairs. I even don’t want to take any pictures of the property for review!!!
I ended up with staying in a different hotel. It is the worse hotel I booked in all my travels for many years. I think booking.com is also responsible for this. How does this properly is 4 stars hotel???

- Joan (5/5): - There were no breakfast facilities. No staff greeted us. Nothing had been updated for years, if not decades. It was very dark. Too far away from the town.

- Lenore (9/5): Tranquil cabin just outside of Mt Gambier - Garden Chalet was nice for us. Comfortable, well stocked, had everything we needed for a great stay.
Location is a bit out of Mt Gambier (less than 10 mins ) but that’s why we chose to stay here. Very quiet. Property was gorgeous with the gum trees and well maintained garden.
Hosts dog was friendly and loved pats! 🙂
Would stay again if we were in the area. Nothing. We had a nice few days here. Thanks! ☺️

- Ivan (8/5): Pleasant property but needing an upgrade. Would stay again. - Very quiet and lovely property. No way to block out the morning sun on the gable roof windows. Poor lighting in the bathroom.

- Mark (10/5): Best accommodation in Mt Gambier! - Great host. Excellent communication. Comfortable lodging. Conveniently located for our weekend. Will book again in future
- Andrew (4/5): Not good value for money. At $250 a night we expected a proper chalet not a cold clinical granny flat. - Mr Gambier is one of the coldest places in SA. To call this a chalet is deceiving. That term suggests warm, cozy, perhaps an open fire but no not even an electric blanket on the bed.
- Kylea (8/5): Very good - Nice country property, comfy bed! You do hear people in next chalet quite clearly
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Roomy comfortable Had to do out for meals
- Ryan (10/5): Perfect stay - Love the chalets, the gardens and the peacefulness
- Mohak (9/5): Superb -
- Nicholas (10/5): Wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to assist. -
- Larry (9/5): Lovely 2 bed cottage which is newly built and super comfortable. - It is a very comfortable cottage with 2 bedrooms for a family or two couples. The mattress was very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher. Location is few kms from Mt Gambier city so you need private transport. The property has nice entry with treelined path and lots of fruit and flower trees. We enjoyed couple of their avocados left in a bowl. We enjoyed our stay for a night on our way to Apollo Bay.
- Benjamin (8/5): Very good -
- Hemant (8/5): Good place - Location All is good.
- Karizma (9/5): Superb - Best location and friendly staff. Loved the facilities. NA
- Carolyn (7/5): Lovely chalet but far out of town with no phone coverage - No phone coverage. TV reception poor. Envelope left at reception with instructions. No pillows suited to side sleeper so bring own if can. Lovely outlook and birds singing. Great chalet
- Dana (7/5): Good -
- Allan (9/5): A very pleasant stay -
- Romana (7/5): Overall Happy with my stay - Beautiful location and cosy Needed fans in the rooms
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (8/5): Very good -

- Ark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Peaceful setting with lots of birds and animals to watch. - Beautiful peaceful setting on a walnut farm. Lots of birds around and the garden was lovely with flowers. Our car battery went out and the owner was kind enough to jump start us and get us on our way. Thank you!!!
- Penrose (8/5): Comfy stay in natural surroundings - Comfortable and had cooking facilities.
- Anne (8/5): LOVED THE LOCATION RURAL. TREES, LOTS OF BIRDS , COWS AND SHEEP, ONLY 5KM FROM TOWN CENTRE. - OUTSIDE FURNITURE COULD BE IMPROVED, BARBEQUE AND SURROUNDS POSSIBLY IMPROVED
- Phyllis (10/5): Lovely place in a beautiful location. - Peaceful. The neighbors constaba smoking.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Alisha (8/5): Lovely property - Lovely property with the ability to walk through the walnut Grove and see the roaming farm animals. We didn't see the owners in person. However, check in was very simple. The rooms being in the upper level were extremely hot as the air con is on the lower level only and it was 36 degrees outside. We overcame this with the pedestal fan provided which was very welcome.
- Ishtiaque (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (7/5): Nice short stay place - Lovely relaxing location Bugs throughout cabin
- Barry (10/5): Very quiet location and clean - The peace and serenity was what we were after, there was other people booked there but the way it’s designed you didn’t really see them The real noisy corellas but there’s nothing to be done about that
- Aniko (9/5): Superb -
- Juan (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. - Quite countryside with beautiful soundings.
- Michael (8/5): Cosy, quiet, relaxing getaway. - Location and surrounds was peaceful and relaxing.
Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Big fridge too.
Decor and style of the rooms had an old school, cosy country vibe.
Patio was very private and wind protected, perfect for a morning coffee and cigarette. TV reception wasn't the best.
Bed was a bit soft for me, but I'm used to a firm mattress to be fair.
