• Leigh (10/5): Lovely clean, private room with hosts that go above and beyond in a beautiful setting. - Our hosts were fantastic - especially considering we showed up wet, dirty and tired after a long bike ride. They kindly threw a load of clothes in the washer and dryer, and picked up dinner in town for us. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Also, appreciated the coffee with real cream, granola, yogurt and fruit left for the morning.
• Jennifer (9/5): Hosts were easy to reach, friendly, and very helpful! Would definitely stay here again! Loved it! - Compimentary granola, yogurt, and fresh berries were delicious! Scenery and property grounds are secluded and beautiful!!! Place was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed. Very quiet and comfortable! Space heaters were perfect to add some extra warmth in the cooler season. One of the best I have stayed at! Water pressure in shower was a little low but likely only noticeable to those with longer hair.

• Edward (10/5): Beautiful home in a relaxing setting—a getaway treat. - Everything was great—a beautiful and well-equipped home with a private entrance and gracious hosts. We were provided a great breakfast of granola, fruit and yogurt which we enjoyed as well. It is a ways away from Victoria which we wanted to visit but we knew that when booking. We like being in a more rural environment so it fit us well.

• Fandy (10/5): Clean and pleasant place to stay, friendly host - Perfect location for us as we wish to find a place close to the 2 boarding schools. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Host Brian is very responsive to messages and very friendly. Place is clean, tidy and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Our family had a very pleasant stay.

• Holly (10/5): A beautiful clean suite with a beautiful covered patio & seating area in the garden - Such a clean & beautiful/private space to stay in with another couple we travelled with, in the double suite downstairs with us. Carpet was so clean, everything was beautiful & we were very impressed! LOVED how the granola was homemade/seemed home made & was in our suite without having to go out into a common area! It was a little warm the first night - purely the weather & we all found it a little hard to regulate the temperature because there wasn't even a breeze. A fan would have been lovely bonus, but overall minor & literally weather pending situation.

(5/5): verbesserungswürdig - die Lage, man kommt an und findet es toll, man betritt das Loft und ist beeindruckt dass es kein Fenster gibt das man öffnen kann, dass die Gläser nicht sauber waren, dass das sogenannte Continental Breakfast aus einer Schale gealterter Früchte und einem großen Becher Joghurt für 2 Tage bestand

We went to all the restaurants that the hosts suggested and they didn't disappoint! - Friendly hosts, great location, beautiful spot - need a car to travel around the area. We were able to rent a canoe at a close marina and that was great! Very comfortable suite, etc LOTS of stairs to get to the suite. this is NOT an accessible property. Didn't have a spot in fridge for our freezer packs to get frozen again. We bought ice LOL

Breakfast was wonderful but limited to muesli fruit and yoghurt which suited us well. Toaster provided but no plates to have toast on. A box of tissues would be helpful as most accommodations provides this. Small issues for a wonderful property with friendly and helpful hosts.

We didn't realize this until the early the second morning and didn't want to awake the hosts. I'm sure if we had noticed earlier and asked we would have been accommodated.

We were given berries, yogurt, milk and granola for our breakfast…me happy. Cute and quaint and the owner very nice, price was okay. The bed was super comfy. Maybe not slanted walls by bed as both hit our heads. A microwave or hot plate so could make our own food.

• Juliana (8/5): Very good - The elephant room had a comfortable bed and breakfast was nice the first morning. We didn't realize the fruit wasn't replenished but to be fair, we didn't ask for more. Noise separation wasn't great and the sound of walking around upstairs was loud. We tried the other bed first and it was much too ungiving for our taste. We had wifi difficulties all weekend and after the first reboot didn't help I used mobile data for the rest of our stay.

Beds were incredibly comfortable and our host was extremely welcoming and helpful! The only thing that would have made it any better was if it was right on the beach 😁🏖️

• Richard (8/5): Debby and Brian have a lovely home and are most gracious in their hospitality. - Lovely location and well appointed. Beautiful view from the window and the breakfast was very conveniently organized No complaints unless you were unable to climb stairs

• Margaret (10/5): A wonderful cozy stay in a beautiful place. - This unit was so cute and comfortable! I wish we had stayed more than just the two nights. We were there for a wedding in Duncan and travelling after but we've been talking about this spot as a highlight for us all the same. Brian was friendly and responsive, and he and his wife have a great eye for detail. We wanted for nothing while we were there. As a bonus, the night sky out on the little porch is absolutely breathtaking. My husband and I spent a good half hour just looking at the stars. There wasn't a single thing we didn't like about our stay. It was cozy, comfortable, and is clearly maintained by kind and thoughtful people. I would recommend to anyone that they stay here if they are driving.

• Michele (10/5): Shawnigan Lake B&B, quiet, clean and good location - Shawnigan Lake Suite B&B is a lovely location among the tall evergreens. It is easy to drive to and is clean an quiet. The hosts are kind and friendly. You must be up for a stair climb so if you have mobility issues this one is better for someone else. A lovely, fresh simple breakfast is provided each morning. All other meals are best best eaten at a local restaurant, these suggestions are listed, as there are no cooking or warming facilities here. I give this location full stars and highly recommend.

• Maria (10/5): This is a lovely place to rest and relax or to work...I was able to get both done! - Love the room, the bed was so comfortable. Love the color light indicator shower that let you know when the water was hot, it was brilliant. This was the perfect spot for me. I thought there would be a microwave in the kitchen area, I understand they are thinking of putting one in. What is terrific is Brian immediately offered to heat my food and brought it back on a plate with a fork. VERY thoughtful with lots of support. I look forward to staying here again.
