We ended up losing track of time in our previous stop & got there late and Fernando was very thoughtful & accommodating with waiting for us to check-in. He was very personable; everything was not only clean but very comfortable too. He upgraded our room at the last minute, which was such a nice gift to us as we were celebrating our birthdays & anniversary. The amenities were spot on for a sexy, relaxing vacation: the bed was comfy, the linen was clean & fluffy, the decor was classy (I LOVE Moulin Rouge so I may be bias since that's the room we were in, lol), the walk-in closet space was perfect to unpack & get dressed in, & we were given privacy & amazing hospitality but not ignored. The breakfast...OMG...the breakfast he made us was the best we've ever had on a vacation. That says a lot because we had some really good food, especially in Ontario! Waking up to the smell of freshly baked croissants that were just as tasty as they smelled was such a treat! Everything was fresh & delicious! I was able to eat things Fernando prepared that I can't eat at home in the States. There was so much thought & care put into it, you can tell he loves what he does. I have several new food allergies & he not only listened & prepared food I could eat comfortably but recommended some great places to eat where that wouldn't be an issue. He even created to-go bags for us on our last day since we had to check-out early at the last minute. The breakfast (fresh croissants with smoked salmon, fruit & juice) was even amazing cold! We got to know his backstory a little better over breakfast & hope to be able to visit again soon before he retires. The location is in a very walkable area; we had an amazing stay & have been telling everyone about it since we've been back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Honestly, nothing. Our time here only enhanced our experience. If I had to choose anything, I'd say our stay was too short & the AC unit took a minute to adjust but that was user error lol. We seriously can't wait to come back.

Globetrotters is located on a quiet street, and we had a very enjoyable stay in our spacious and very clean room. The bed was comfortable, and the washroom had an excellent shower. It is a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood with only three bedrooms for guests, so it is very quiet. Great for couples and seniors. We both loved the artwork and the works of art from exotic locations throughout the house. Not far from the wineries, the Shaw festival Theatre, Fort George and beautiful downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. The location is very dark at night and a lighted sign at the B&B or a coach light at the bottom of the driveway would be helpful. Other guests mentioned same.

• Donna (6/5): Nice and convenient. - As a family, we felt the location was perfect. Fernando and Donna are lovely hosts, warm and welcoming. As the main point of contact, Fernando worked hard to make our stay enjoyable and pamper our family. We enjoyed all his stories, and appreciated both his and Donna's recommendations during our stay. Check-in and out was very easy. Breakfast in the garden was a nice touch, and Fernando's efforts to make it nice were really appreciated. The bathroom essentials (body wash, shampoo and conditioner) were a nice touch. The map and coupons Donna provided were appreciated. The decor was interesting and nice to look at. No ability to lock our room when we were out. No choice was provided nor notice given that someone would be entering our room while we were out. We felt uncomfortable with this practice, as the usual purpose for entering a room is to empty garbage, provide fresh towels, make the bed and in this case, provide clean glasses and water. Beds were made, sometimes the garbage was emptied, fresh glasses and towels were not provided after the initial check-in, so we questioned what was the purpose. Breakfast was appreciated, nicely presented and tasty, however, disappointing. Although asked if there were any food allergies or sensitivities, asking if there are any preferences would have been a nice touch, as well as offering seconds. We understand that not all B&B's are the same, some offer more of a buffet breakfast, others more of a continental breakfast. We do feel Fernando's breakfast was enjoyable, just not at the level we were expecting from reading the previous reviews. The rooms, especially the blinds were quite dusty and could use a refresh. The lighting was quite inadequate, despite all the lamps. Seating in the rooms would have been great. Ductless AC should be considered as the floor model is loud. The double bed was hard, the twin bed must of had a topper as it was very comfortable. We could easily hear our kids in the next room when we were in our adjoining room and bathroom. A tv in the room would have been lovely to wind down at the end of the day.
• Keith (10/5): The best breakfast in Niagara on the Lake! - We had a nice, clean, comfortable room, as well as lovely sitting areas inside and out, but the gourmet breakfasts were the real highlight. Superbly prepared and presented, it was the perfect way to start the day. We couldn’t lock our door when we went out, which was a little unnerving.

The breakfasts were fabulous - much more than we expected. Eggs Benedict our first morning, French toast the next. Made fresh, and served with homemade croissants & fresh fruit.

When we left on the second day we had to head out quite early. Fernando was waiting for us to leave with a small packed breakfast. Very nice touch! The bed was incredibly comfortable. Location was extremely convenient relative to anything one would want to do in the NOTL area.

• Mark (10/5): NOTL Wine And Play Tour - The location is excellent - a 20 minute walk, or 5 minute drive to the central area. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival, and made to feel at home. Great outside garden area for outdoor breakfasts, or relaxing after a hectic day. Host is a former chef, so breakfasts were exquisite - really enjoyed the "Montreal Smoked" meat on the Eggs Benedict! Host provided PDF list of activities, sites, and other relevant info. We will stay again! Nothing to comment about!

• Jessica (10/5): We look forward to visiting again, great hospitality! - The home was clean. The distance was a nice walk from town. The hosts were very accommodating with dietary needs too. It was nice to have the bed made, and fresh water pitchers too! The bathroom floor was pretty cold so a little rug in front of the sink would be nice.

The decor is so colourful and with very good taste! Fernando and Donna are amazing, they made us feel comfortable and welcome! The location was perfect - just a few blocks away from the downtown!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by Fernando. The room and facilities were all super clean and comfy, the breakfast was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The property is just an easy 20 min walk to the centre of town, passing beautiful houses and gardens on the way. If you're visiting Niagara on the Lake, you won't regret staying here!

• Valerie (10/5): Great stay - friendly hosts. - We had a really great stay at Globetrotters. The property was in a quiet area of town and was walkable into the Old Town. Donna & Fernando were excellent hosts. We enjoyed our hearty breakfasts out on the patio both mornings which was lovely. Would definitely stay at Globetrotters next time we are in Niagara on the Lake.
