• Sadikovic (10/5): Außergewöhnlich und historisch, mit einfacher, aber ausreichender Ausstattung, freundlichem Personal, ruhiger zentraler - Außergewöhnlich! Historisch! Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Das Bett ist bequem. Extras wie Prosecco, Einmalhausschuhe und Zahnbürsten fanden wir sehr angenehm und gastfreundlich. Wir haben auch viele tolle Tipps bekommen. Ruhig, zentral gelegen, das Personal sehr freundlich und mit täglicher Zimmerreinigung! Das Frühstück war für uns mit Croissant und Espresso oder Cappuccino völlig ausreichend. Man kommt gar nicht in die Versuchung, mehr zu essen als nötig. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Vielen Dank! Hier ist dein Satz mit korrigierter Rechtschreibung und etwas flüssiger formuliert: Die Dusche ist etwas zu eng und die Toilette sehr historisch, aber wir würden trotzdem gerne wiederkommen – wie gesagt, alles ein wenig historisch.

Il fatto che fosse caldissimo e che ci fosse offerta l’acqua in stanza è stato davvero molto apprezzato. Inoltre il titolare era disponibilissimo, attento ad ogni esigenza e la struttura è in una posizione accessibile a qualsiasi cosa vi venga in mente, sia con i mezzi ma anche a piedi!

Straight from entering the building, the lift, the thickest door 200 years old and all of the interiors with many many original details is really breathtaking. The area itself was very convenient to reach any point in the city. Beautiful park across the street, restaurants shops, all you might need. The other big shout out to the host, such a legend guy. Also offered us to keep our luggage the day we had a flight. Such a legend! Very very positive memories. Thank you! Nothing really.

Messages everywhere in the room, warning of guest’s responsibility and liability should the toilet fail. Breakfast is actually coffee and croissant or sandwich in the bar around the corner.

• Stefan (10/5): Eine beeindruckende Wohnung in alten Gemäuern! - Die Wohnung bzw Zimmer sind überwältigend und einzigartig! So kunstvoll und wunderschön restauriert! Es war alles sehr sauber, die Betten bequem und die Lage hervorragend. Der Vermieter, sowie eine Angestellte waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns gute Tipps für etwas unbekanntere Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gegeben. Der kleine Aufenthaltsraum war ideal für uns, um den Tag bei einem Getränk Revue passieren zu lassen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Das inkludierte Frühstück in der Bar Paris war zwar wenig (1 Kaffee/Tee/… und 1 Croissant /Toast) aber lecker und auch dort waren die Betreiber sehr freundlich! Natürlich hätte man noch zusätzlich gegen Bezahlung bestellen können. Vielen Dank an das „Martina House Team“ 🫶🏼

• Shaun (10/5): A stylish, clean and comfortable base in one of Rome’s most glamorous areas! - Stayed at Martina House and it was spot on. Would definitely stay there again. The room was stylish and clean — traditional design with thoughtful touches (eg a kettle) that made it feel luxurious and elegant. The bed was comfortable. Everything was fresh, functioning, and well-maintained. The location is brilliant - in the heart of the Via Veneto area (with its Dolce Vita vibe), surrounded by smart streets, high-end shops, and loads of nice restaurants and cafés. It’s next door to the Villa Borghese gardens, and it’s a short stroll to the Barberini metro station and the Spanish Steps. Everything felt convenient, safe, and effortlessly central. The hosts were welcoming and friendly too - and very helpful in arranging transport to and from the airport, with plenty of suggestions of where to go and what to eat and clearly taking pride in their city and their accommodation. The shower cubicle was a bit small, although there’d be plenty of room in the bathroom to upsize it.

The owner, Martina, is incredibly helpful – lovely welcome and great local tips. The typical Italian breakfast at a nearby bar adds a nice local touch. Highly recommend for an authentic Roman getaway!"

• Julia (8/5): Great staff and location. - This lovely, quirky place is like an apartment with bedrooms in a wonderful old building . The rooms are really clean and comfortable. This place is not for you if you want the facilities of a big hotel but it is really good value. It is in a quieter part of the city , but still only about 20 minutes walk from the Trevi foundation and has plenty of restaurants and cafes. You are also just a few minutes walk from the wonderful Villa Borghese and gardens. We stayed here about 12 years ago with our 2 sons and felt really safe. The staff are wonderful and could not have been more helpful. They have really good recommendations for places to eat and visit. I would definitely stay here again. These are not negatives for us, but be aware there is the reception area and bedrooms and that is it. You get a voucher for a coffee and pastry at a cafe around the corner for breakfast.

A localização do hotel é realmente excelente, bem próxima dos principais pontos turísticos. Eu fiz quase tudo à pé. O prédio de 1800 é uma atração a parte, super charmoso. Limpeza excelente. O café da manhã é simples, mas saboroso, com destaque para o croissant de pistache. Além disso, o hotel tem parceria com alguns restaurantes onde temos desconto para almoço ou jantar. • Rumbidzai (10/5): A beautifully preserved, artistic stay that perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. - Absolutely loved this property! It was very clean and beautifully maintained. What really stood out was how much of the original building has been preserved from the doors to the window covers giving it a truly authentic, historic charm. It genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into an ancient building in Italy, but with a tasteful touch of modern comfort. The blend of old-world character and contemporary style is done perfectly. It’s also very arty, with so much personality throughout the space. A wonderful place to stay I would definitely come back! The only small downside is that there’s just one set of keys provided. If you’re traveling with others, you always need to coordinate and be together when coming and going, which can be a little inconvenient.

Hot water wouldn’t last for all four of us to have a shower at once, but it’s only minor, we just planned better once we had cold showers!

Great location , close enough to the sites we wanted to visit yet far away enough to not be in the middle of all the noise . Check in was easy . The hosts checked in several times with us and even helped us arrange our transportation . We had no issues with the property .
• Nithin (10/5): Wonderful stay in Rome - Martina House was an excellent place to stay in Rome. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, wardrobe and very nice bathroom. The aesthetic was very cool and classical and we really enjoyed our time there. The lift to get up to the apartments is also very cool. The staff were really helpful with any queries and thought of all the details to make out stay a bit better. The location is right next to Villa Borghese and about a 20 minute to the centre (downhill) and 30 minutes by public transport to the Vatican. The free breakfast was a voucher to a nearby cafe to get a breakfast coffee (espresso or cappuccino) and a Cornetto (Italian croissant, with a variety of fillings like chocolate, pistachio, cream and jam). Overall we had a lovely time and would very much recommend it!

• Pasquale (8/5): Bella struttura antica - Posizione praticamente accanto a villa borghese, a 1 km a piedi dal centro Colazione fatta in un bar li vicino non tanto fornito ma comunque ok , il bagno della nostra camera era normale , niente di eccezionale, ma la camera piccolissima, anche se ci siamo adattati bene. Personale super cortese, e struttura antica ma tenuta bene. Stanza piccolina anche se ci è stata proposta senza pagare extra una stanza piu grande, e letto un po duro, per il resto tutto ok

The staff was perfect and easy to communicate. The room was very clean and the housekeeping worked everyday. The small gifts were very nice. The location was very convenient. The breakfast was very weak. The cloth hangers should be wooden. The steel and plastic hangers do not suit its spirit. There was a bad smell due to the parquet polish. But these are small issues. The overall experience was perfect.

• Wojciech (9/5): - W tym apartamencie można przekonać się jak to jest mieszkać w zabytkowej kamienicy w samym centrum Rzymu. Pokój przytulny, czysty i chociaż to zima to jest przyjemnie ciepło. Jest lodówka, czajnik, ekspress na kapsułki, suszarka i zestaw ręczników. Sniadanie to rzeczywiście jedynie kawa i rogalik ale w przytylnum barze z przemiłą obsługą. Ponaddto w najbliżej okolicy można kupić pyszne kanapki czy dobrą pizzę, są też dobre restauracje. Mógłbym przyczepić się do dosyć mało komfortowo umiejscowionej toalety ale że jestem dość szczupły to nie miałem problemu żeby z niej skorzystać.
