• KA YAN (10/5): Great stay at Home Milu! Super friendly hosts who made me feel welcome - I had a lovely stay at Home Milu. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was comfy and the Italian traditional cookies were delicious! She also gave excellent recommendations for restaurants, the best gelato, and places to visit, which really enhanced my trip. Thank you for the warm hospitality — I’d definitely stay again!
• cristian (10/5): - Tiene todo lo que uno necesita, en la habitación hay de todo, baño privado, aire, hervidor, televisor y todo se ve decorado con mucho cariño lo que te brinda mucha calidez. Esta a pasos del terminal de trenes. No tiene vista, pero estas al lado de todo lo más lindo de Florencia.

• Cesar Ulises (10/5): - La locación, a 3 minutos de la estación del tren central, y de la iglesia de Santa Maria Novela. Alrededor hay varios restaurantes para cenar Bistecca a la Fiorentina, a menos de 1 minuto caminando. La habitación estaba muy limpia, es pequeña pero tiene todo lo necesario y baño privado. Agua caliente al instante! Lo cuál se agradece después de los días largos caminando por la Toscana. Hugo, nuestro anfitrión, nos recibió con una gran actitud, y muy amablemente nos dio recomendaciones de que hacer y en dónde comer como local. Además estuvo atento por WhatsApp a cualquier consulta.

It's the best place to stay while visiting Florence in a proximity to the historical city centre, but also in quiet area, so you can rest well after sightseeing and wake up to the aroma of your morning espresso. • PEI-CHIN (8/5): 半夜會比較吵（可能會有一些醉漢或年輕人在街邊大吼大叫），但我跟同伴都算好睡所以影響不大，而且房東事前有提醒，也很貼心有附耳塞。除了衛浴跟房間空間真的很小，其他沒什麼好挑剔的（電視節目很多可以看很棒😆） - 離火車站超級近（約莫5分鐘？就可抵達）附的咖啡好喝，房源很乾淨～到各景點都很方便：）附近餐廳也很多 不會到不滿意，不過沒有電梯的話帶大行李比較辛苦（但房東人很好會願意協助） 房間空間比較小，大約一個行李打開就沒辦法自由行走了…

Hay a disposición y gratuito: té, café y galletas típicas de la ciudad La calle en la noche es ruidosa por la gente que sale de los bares, pero hay disponible tapones. El baño es pequeño, pero cumple su objetivo.

• Federica (10/5): Pratico e ben collegato - Soggiorno di una settimana in questa struttura situata in un palazzo storico a due passi dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Un appartamento decisamente accogliente con una zona giorno comune dove c'era l'angolino caffè con capsule, cantuccini e un box con tisane di tutti i tipi! La cameretta pulitissima, seppur piccolina, è veramente dotata di tutti i comfort (addirittura c'era il ferro da stiro verticale a vapore!) avevo il bollitore con tazzine in camera per le tisane, tv, condizionatore, wifi gratuito...! All'arrivo il proprietario Ugo è stato formidabile, cortese e con una lista pronta da inviarmi su WhatsApp con dritta su ogni campo, dal ristorante alle attrazioni da vistare a firenze! Un punto di riferimento, sempre disponibile! Lo consiglio vivamente!

The area of the apartment is very close to the station but has easy access to all the sites in Florence. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and gave suggested details for where to travel to. Nothing that I can think of.

The shared pantry is well equipped The listing description missed a few important things: - The room is in a 3-bedroom apartment with other guests staying in another room. The kitchen is shared but we were not allowed to use the stove to cook. The listing made us think we would have the entire place by ourselves but it wasn’t the case. - VERY noisy neighboud and the glass is not soundproof at all. At 3-4am we heard people yelling and it made us impossible to sleep. - The bed size is double bed which is slightly too small for two people, though the mattress is comfortable

• Anna (10/5): Charming apartment in the heart of Florence - Charming and cozy apartment with soul in historical building in super location- short walking distance from Train Station and City Center. It was very clean, all necessary stuff (e.g. hair dryer, Tee pot) was available, was also nice to have complementary coffee. Late check in was also available for small extra fee. Overall we had a very nice and pleasant stay - many thanks to host Hugo. -

La location: struttura a 5 minuti a piedi da tutto! 4 minuti a piedi dall'antica farmacia di santa maria novella! 5 minuti dalla stazione di santa maria novella, 5 min dal Duomo! Che dire! Soggiorno da ripetere!

• Caroline (10/5): Perfect and we loved the host! - We loved our stay! The apartment was in a great location, just 10–15 minutes’ walk from everything. Our host, Hugo, was amazing. He welcomed us with fresh coffee and cookies, took the time to sit with us and explain everything, let us check in early, gave us fantastic recommendations, and even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout since our train was later. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend this place!

• Assia (5/5): Un séjour mitigé - Bon emplacement, espace cuisine bien équipé, bon accueil initial de l’hôte Ugo 1/ À aucun endroit de l’annonce il n’est précisé que c’est une chambre dans un logement partagé avec d’autres personnes ! Ce qui nous a obligé de rester dans une chambre exiguë afin d’avoir de l’intimité !! 2/ L’hôte s’est montré accueillant au début mais ensuite a eu des messages déplacés car trop familiers, ce qui nous a mises mal à l’aise. Par ailleurs, il passait quotidiennement à l’appartement. 3/ Bien que le quartier soit à qqs mins du Duomo, les abords du quartier sont mal fréquentés 4/ Literie inconfortable, nous avons dû retirer le sur-matelas, et toilettes qui fuient . De ce fait, le dernier jour il a essayé d’entrer dans notre chambre sans attendre notre aval à 8h du matin pour régler le problème de la salle de bain.

Hugo was very helpful and attentive. He recommended us restaurants to eat as well as places to visit. They were unique in terms of value for money. I can only say good things about my stay in Florence. Hugo made me want to go back again. Everything was perfect .

• Ved (9/5): Superb - The location was great, with all the highlights of the city being within a 20 minute walk. The restaurant selection is also great! The streets could be slightly noisy at times, and also this was labeled as a bed-and-breakfast but there was no breakfast offered.

The hosts were excellent and catered to our needs. Also had a welcoming basket of treats. Excellent coffee was available 24 hours.

He also accommodated early luggage drop to avoid lugging our bags prior to official check in. Bathroom (basin, shower, toilet) within the suite is cramped for space.

• Nick (10/5): Thank you Gabriella for a wonderful time in Firenze. Can’t wait to get back. - Perfect location for my trip to run the florence marathon. 400m from the expo and 500m from the start. Great for all the main museums and sites (Duomo, Ponte Vecchio etc). Some fabulous restaurants close by also! Excellent all around. Clean, great coffee and biscotti on hand. Comfy bed, lovely shower.
• James (9/5): Beautiful little room close to everything! - This room was very beautifully detailed and decorated. So lovely! =) It is in a perfect location also for sight seeing, restaurants and shops…our host, Gabriella, was super! She was very sweet and welcoming. She made sure we were happily situated. The WiFi was slow and intermittent. The mattress was softer than we prefer (older couples with back concerns). Finally there was not any natural light and the lack modern ventilation/ heating.

Gabrielle was a lovely host and gifted me a free pass to gallery opening happening only within the time I was there. That was super kind of her to do! The place was clean and had all the facilities you require. The bathroom was a little small, bit of a tight space.

• Dougwarren (7/5): Location is perfect, price is good. - It was a quaint building. Italian comfort. For this visit, the location could not have been more perfect. We did a lot of train travels and we were very close to the station, so there was no panic, just a short walk. We found many great places to eat on our last trip there and our favourite trattoria was just around the corner. Same for our favourite gelato shop. Not the fault of the property, but there was a lot of street noise, mostly from people that went on to the early hours each morning.
• Henning (3/5): Great location but claustrophobic. - The location was the best thing: convenient and in a safe neighborhood. Also, the host was very accommodating. The property description was really misleading. The whole room was claustrophobic. The "Inner courtyard view" turned out to be a narrow and dim lightwell - the sky was not even visible from the window.

This isn’t a “dislike”, just an fyi if you have mobility issues. There are several steps to climb to get to the room.

• Matei-gabriel (10/5): Would definitely come back! - The apartment is very close to the train station and within 15-20 of most museums and tourist attractions. We booked the smaller room, but were upgraded to the larger one at no additional cost. The room was cosy, very clean and had a nice romantic vibe, which was perfect for a couple’s city break. The hosts were amazing, very welcoming and responded very quickly to our messages. Gabriella sent us a great list of recommendations for eating & drinking, which were on point.

All attractions could be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. The apartment is very clean, there is everything you need. The owners of the apartment are very nice and wonderful people who were concerned about our comfort! The Florentine cookies and quality coffee were always delicious. The owner was very friendly, sent us a list of restaurants and places with national food, and was interested in our comfort.

• Eszter (8/5): We got what we expected, if we will have the chance we are coming back. :) - From the train station it was easily accessible on foot, so the location is great. The room was tiny, but it was perfect as it is. We had everything what we needed. Valentina was a perfect host, communication was smooth with her, she was always ready to help. We recommend this place to everyone! It was only an annoying little thing: the room only had one key chain with everything on it: keys to the room, the apartment and the magnet card to access the electricity. It would have been much better if the magnet card and the keys would have been on different key chains.
• Kevin (7/5): I’d would stay again but only if it was not hot in Firenze. - Clean. Convenient. Cute room. Had what we we needed for 2 night stay. Communication was great with young lady we had to deal with. She brought us a fan when we asked which was desperately needed. If we staying in Firenze when it was not hot outside, I’d give this cute little place a 9. You must read my dislikes if you are traveling or planning on staying when it’s hot. I didn’t understand why I had to pull a card from the wall when we left which turned off everything. All power and AIR CONDITIONING!!!! This is a huge problem when the AC didn’t work well as it was. It was very hot in Florence and we didn’t need to come back to a 94 degree room after walking all day. We had to take cold showers immediately and lay down and not move just to cool our bodies. Hard to sleep as it would take hours before the Air conditioning would even begin to start cooling room to 82 degrees. The owners need to rethink about how the air conditioning can stay on when it’s extremely hot.
• Gandhi (10/5): Excellent stay in Florence! - The location of the unit was excellent - in a quite and safe neighborhood - literally a 4 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station of Florence. The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. The host provided coffee. teas, biscotti and a full kitchen for use if one desired. The unit has two bedrooms that are let out by the hosts - we were in the smaller Orange Room. One thing to be aware of, the building does not have an elevator and the unit is on the second floor - something to be aware of if one has lots of heavy luggage. I would not say that i didn't like it - but, our bathroom was a little small.

• Johnathan (10/5): "Home" is Accurate! - The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a very charming common area. The atmosphere helps you get a feel for local life, which we loved. We were greeted by friendly staff member, Valentina, who gave us terrific local recommendations. Finally, the location is incredibly convenient if you plan on using the train station.
