• Anusha (10/5): - We had a great stay at Starbien! The room itself was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was located it a really nice part of Napoli with plenty of bars and restaurants just downstairs. Despite this, we could not hear the noise from outside at night even though we were there on a weekend. The property also had an elevator which made things very easy with our luggage. Luigi himself was incredibly helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the property before checking in and Luigi also arranged for a taxi to take us to Napoli centrale early in the morning when we needed to check out. Luigi was very responsive at all times and he even gave us plenty of recommendations for our other destinations for our Italy trip. Highly recommend staying at Starbien!

We received a warm reception, and he gave us a very detailed introduction to all the facilities in the apartment. The mattress and bedding are extremely comfortable, and the room has double, very thick doors, making it exceptionally quiet—exactly what we needed. The bathroom was also very clean. The location is also very safe, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. After checkout, we were able to store our luggage safely at the front desk, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. all good！
• VALERIE (10/5): Excellent séjour napolitain, à refaire ! - Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 3 nuits chez Luigi. La chambre est telle que sur les photos, spacieuse, confortable et décorée avec goût. L'emplacement est parfait, dans un joli quartier animé (voire très animé) cependant,la chambre, dans les étages supérieurs avec ascenseur, est bien insonorisée. Prévoyez des boules Quies malgré tout si vous êtes particulièrement sensibles au bruit mais franchement on se sent en retrait de l'agitation napolitaine une fois le palier franchi. Luigi nous a accueillis vers 22h30 (au delà de l'horaire annoncé) et pour le départ, nous a gentiment aidés à trouver un taxi. Sa culture littéraire française est remarquable, alors si vous aimez Moliére, vous serez servis ! Merci Luigi. Valérie et Laurent Peut-être un seul détail : la housse de couette avec aspect "gauffré", certes plus facile à repasser mais moins agréable au toucher.

Una stanza stupenda, pulita e curata nel minimo dettaglio, isolata talmente bene che non si sente un solo rumoro eppure è in un centro così vivo e attivo, con pub, negozi e locali. Per non parlare del comfort del letto e dei cuscini... abbiamo apprezzato tanto anche il piccolo balconcino. Il bar convenzionato per la colazione è il top. Non abbiamo davvero nulla da segnalare.

Unser Zimmer war auf den Innenhof und so angenehm ruhig. Luigi, der Owner, ist sehr hilfsbereit, schnell erreichbar und hat tolle Tipps für Restaurants, Shops etc. in der Umgebung. Das Starbien liegt im Herzen von Chiaia an trotzdem ruhiger Lage. Restaurants und Shops sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alles gut

What you see in the gallery photos is what you get. Luigi designed and laid out the room to be comforting for both mind and body. The apartment is a comfortable walking distance from Piazza Amedeo station which provided easy access to many parts of Napoli. Moreover, Luigi is a hospitable host, going out of his way to make sure we were received and settled properly. No issue with the property.

• Sarah (9/5): Great accommodation and location in Naples - Starbien was an ideal accommodation for us. great location - quite close to many things, lots of restaurants and shops, but also quite family friendly. The room was a good size and very clean. Luigi was a great host. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend. The only issue was getting to the property the day we arrived. The taxi dropped us off in a piazza close by, and then we had to walk through the cobbled streets with our bags. It wasn't far, but when trying to find it for the first time, it seemed like it took a while and the b&b is on the third floor, so not something you see from street level. Luigi was very helpful and immediately responding to our messages.

• Massimo (9/5): Superb - The place is in an excellent location, at the center of what neapolitans call the " movida" which is the weekend night scene for the younger generation. Dozens of bars, clubs, cafes, and restaurants are overflowing with youth from Friday to Sunday night. Yet the room is as quiet as it gets, having only one window facing the internal court of the building. The room was sparkling clean, and well furnished, although a bit small, and it could benefit from some stands for the luggage. The bathroom is modern and clean. Big pleasant surprise was the daily room cleaning service, all but forgotten in these post-covid times. Luigi is a great host, very helpful and communicative, made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Not much really.

Luigi (the owner) was fantastic to communicate with, attentive, and made sure that our stay was fantastic! The location of this B&B is amazing, with lots of great restaurants very close by and there is also a lift in the building for getting your luggage to the rooms!

The place is also quite central, making it nice as a homebase if you want to travel to nearby islands. Also, it was a nice touch to get new water bottles and coffee each day. The ventilation in the courtyard room could have been a bit better and we were missing a bit of natural light. Apart from this, there is hardly anything negative to say.

This ticked all of those boxes!! and had a TV with Netflix, Amazon etc which I enjoyed when I wanted to chill after dinner. Chiaia is a lovely location, and is only 15min walk from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish Quarter. Chiaia has lovely restaurants and bars, and Luigi has a list of recommendations to hand! The sea is also only a 10minute walk. Very cobbled streets - so avoid dragging your suitcase wheels there, get dropped off if you can. As a solo traveller the location felt safe and the property is super secure (you use 4 keys before you're in the room!). Has the usual amenities (coffee; shower gels; hairdryer.. and an iron). Reliable aircon. Nice powerful warm shower. There's a lift to take you to the third floor. Very pleasant and comfortable stay.

• Laura (10/5): I highly recommend - The accommodation was right in the heart of the lively and vibrant Chiaia area, easy to walk everywhere, but there was no sound in the room. The room was large and spacious, decorated in an elegant modern style, still respecting the spirit of the old building. The room was also clean and the daily cleaning was top class, every little piece of clothing and cosmetic product was organized in its place. The owner was helpful and friendly. I highly recommend. It was a bit difficult to find the place the first time, because there was no sign on the door/street. But the owner was coming pick us on street, when i was call to him.

The room has very tall ceiling and it’s very clean and well organized; thanks to the double window frames, the room is also quiet despite its location. Also the host (Luigi) is very welcoming and was incredibly responsive to every question/need. We got the room for 3 people hence one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed. Luigi did everything possible to make it comfortable but it is naturally a less appealing option than the standard room bed.
