Guest Reviews

- Verobluguer (9/5): Great property to stay a few days and see Rome - Great location and confort
- Joyce (10/5): Great location with clean accommodations - We enjoyed our stay at B&B Anturium. The beds were comfortable, we had our own bathroom, there was a kitchen where you could warm things up in the microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle for hot drinks and an outside patio. We chose this location as it was close to relatives and is located about halfway between Piazza Bologna's metro station and the Tibertuno Rail and Bus Stations. Around the corner, you could pick up a bus that went to the Vatican, making it easy to get to all of the sites in the center of Rome. There were several stores a short walk from the B&B and down the street there was even a bakery where you could get a cappuccino and pastry for breakfast. The host, Luca, was friendly and responded quickly to our messages,
- Jonathan (5/5): Passable - The place was clean, room was decent size, bus and train access was close, a/c in the room and blackout curtains Most uncomfortable bed I've ever had in my entire life, squeaked everytime you moved. Bathroom was detached, toilet was too close to wall to comfortably use, shower was very small and shower head broken. Location was not very close to anything
- Marta (9/5): If we go back to visit Rome we definitely stay at this place again 😊 - Great location close to all amenities (restaurants, shops, buses, metro) 12 minutes in metro and you will be in centrum of Rome. Owner very helpful if you have any questions or you need a help with transport he did help us 😊
- Rustem (9/5): Superb -
- Veselin (9/5): Superb - The owner was very responsive, we had exellent information how to enter the room, everything was very clean and comfortable
- Sahil (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely experience
- Elizabeth (7/5): Safe, secure and pleasant. - Very clean and everything catered for. Second pillow would have been nice.
- Unal (5/5): Passable -
- Miguel (10/5): Can be better - The place it’s nice and quiet Please put a smart TV in the room and change the mattress
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joachim (7/5): It was pleasant and the owner was very nice. - I liked that it was clean and instructions on how to enter were clear. It was easy to reach the owner. It was close to the metro. I think having a bathroom in a separate room was biggest inconvenience, but was mentioned as a part of the deal. Long commute time to the center.
- Thalia (4/5): I wouldn’t recommend if your only option is to have an external private bathroom. Disappointed with our stay considering - That the host was very responsive and the cleaners were lovely to talk with. The room floor and bed sheets were dirty. The external private bathroom smelt like cigarette and mould. It was very hard to air out wet items and the smell made us feel unwell. Also having to use a key every time to use the bathroom. We were also disappointed with the tourist tax fee. We had done some research and the average for a 5star hotel in Rome is 3€ per person per night. This accommodation was definitely not 5star and we paid 6€ per person per night which was a bit disappointing considering the facilities.
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paola (6/5): Pleasant - Good position and easy access. Clean. Responsive host. Very uncomfortable mattress.
It is registered as Bed and breakfast even if it does not provide breakfast, and neither the possibility of cooking (just a microwave and a tiny fridge are provided). By registering as B&B the city taxes are 6 euros per day instead of 3 euros of 1 star hotel.
We were sleeping close to the common area (room 2 - lemon) and it was very noisy. Waking up at 8 with the first arrival of the day (not because the other guests were loud).
The room is small for 2 people if you stay longer than 2 days.
In general, it is a place to just sleep and go. But sleeping on that bed was horrible. So I missed the value of it.
Most likely the owner is aware of the bed issue since they put a topper on the mattress but it is not enough...
Pricy for what is offered.
- David (3/5): Poor - This looks like a bed and breakfast on line. There is no breakfast. Bathroom is across a common hallway. Provide a breakfast.
- Asal (7/5): Good -
- Kristina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melike (7/5): Good -
- Saeed (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and quiet. Near train station. Nothing
- Thiago (7/5): Good - It was a very clean place, and we were very well received by the host Lucca.
Lucca also was very helpful and offered many tips for us, which was a really good token compared to other places. The walls are very thin, but nothing that bothered me that much honestly. It was a pleasant stay.
- Riley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stefan-gabriel (10/5): Awesome stay. Will come again. - Liked the cleanliness. The cleaning lady was amazing and cleaned the room every morning and replaced the coffee pods as well. Nothing to complain really.
- Ali (8/5): Safe, Close to the center, comfortable and affordable. - The bus station was 5 minutes away from the location and we took bus #62 which crossed the whole of Rome city from east to west (close to the Vatican) another option was the metro which was 10 minutes away from the location and just by passing 5 stations we had access to Colusem.
The room was quiet and clean, but the bed was not perfect.
- Lorraine (5/5): I would not return as the location is not near the center of Rome as described. - Clean Lights went out while in shower. Shower fell off the wall. Our flight was canceled so we missed a day and did not get a refund.
- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nelly (8/5): Very good -
- Tak (5/5): Passable - The staff is very kind. The wall is thin. You can hear someone in the next room talking.
- Estep (5/5): Good budget option if you aren't sensitive to noise. - The host was very nice and available. The private bathroom was great, and the whole B&B was very cute. Check in and check out was very easy. Unfortunately the walls were very thin, I know this isn't the hosts fault, but someone staying there at the same time as me was very very loud. They came in at 2:30 AM and were burping very loudly non stop and just clearly drunk. The next mornings they would play music and sing very loudly as well.
The room smelled very strongly of bleach coming from the wardrobe and it gave me a headache. And lastly, I found multiple strands of hair in all of my towels so I just feel they weren't very clean.
- Sheena (10/5): Excellent in everything thank u .. - I like the ambiance, quiet and serenity from the centre after a long day of sight seeing..the location is near to the bus and metro station.,,and the owner luca is very helpful and kind will surely recommend this place to my friends and family in dubai..
- Sisirkoska (9/5): Superb - The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures and the neighborhood is very quiet.
Luka is incredible, he is easy to reach, very helpful and considerate. He is also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful.
- Philipp (7/5): Nice stay in a lovely apartment with good connections to the city center. - Good location, very attentive and supportive renter, nice neighborhood Sharing the bathroom with others is more complicated that we expected, since habits can differ from one to another.
- Lydia (10/5): Great stay in a good location, clean, quiet room - A lovely room in a 4-bedroom flat 7 minutes walk from Bologna metro station. The hardest part was finding the metro in the gigantic and very poorly signposted Termini train station (15 minutes from the airport after a short bus ride, only 3 euros each). You can buy a 3-day metro pass for 18 euros. Good facilities at the flat, including coffee maker in the kitchen, fridge, microwave. Lovely garden, but lots of mosquitoes! Bring some deet. Very clean, well maintained, quiet. No English channels on the TV that I could find, but you can change settings to get films in original language (english) - would be easy for owner to add details of that as part of check in process.
- Fatimah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haekyoung (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Nothing
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Staff service
Location
Tidyness Senzor for bathroom lights (they were turning off during shower)
We were not allowed to cook (which in Rome is a great con, considering how expensive is streetfood and restaurant)
No natural light (because of the floor the apartment was situated at)
- Olga (8/5): Very good - Location, close to the timburtina station. Nice terrace
- Joshua (7/5): Memorable. - The host is an absolutely amazing and kind guy who wants to make your stay as pleasant as possible. He is easy to reach and quick to help. Unfortunately at night there were sounds of machines turning on automatically which made it difficult to fall asleep at times.
- Spinozzi (9/5): Superb -
- Noya (10/5): Lovely place well connected to the city center - The room was big, the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, the closet space was huge and there was a folding desk!
There were two metro stations that were close to the B&B, one of them was also a train station that you could get to from the airport.
There was a small market on the same block that had everything necessary for a simple dinner if you don't feel like eating out.
The owner is super nice, he came to meet us on the second morning of our stay, and made sure we had everything we needed The shower was really small, but it was manageable and worth it overall.
- Anonymous (10/5): It was great - Its location
- Matthew (7/5): Easy access to everything, felt like a safe location with good security. - Convenient location near Termini Station. Nice big kitchen. We didn’t realize it was a shared bathroom, it seemed that other guests often needed to use it at the same time.
- Hughes (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie-lee (8/5): property is great value for money if you’re just needing somewhere to sleep and keep your stuff - Luca was very quick to respond and help with any questions. Property was very clean and was great value. the walls are quiet thin. I could clearly hear other guests talking and entering/exiting the property. It did make it hard to sleep a couple of nights as it sounded like they were right beside me
- Lancashirelassy (8/5): Very good - Close to Metro station. Nice neighbourhood. Close to Triburtina for links to the airport. No do not disturb signs, so woken up by cleaning staff.
Shared bathroom, it wasn't a huge problem but prefer private.
- Maryam (6/5): Pleasant -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Simona (9/5): Superb -
