• Ayline (8/5): Lindo, cómodo, accesible. - Es céntrico, Venecia es pequeño se puede caminar completo, así que en general eso ayuda, pero está cerca. Nosotros de la estación nos fuimos caminando y no demoramos 20 minutos. El personas muy amable. Muy claras las indicaciones y te las mandan antes por wsp o mensaje Booking. Baño amplio. Habitación cómoda. La verdad todo bien. Teniendo en cuenta que los alojamientos en Venecia son de característica antiguas. Es verdad que se escucha un poco de ruido fuera, en nuestra opinión nada que provoque incomodidad.
• Carmen (7/5): Great location, clean and comfortable, and as advertised. I would stay here again! - I had a very pleasant 3-night stay and would happily recommend this place for short visits. It was surprisingly difficult to find places on the island with consistently positive reviews for cleanliness, so this place stood out to me. I’m glad to say it absolutely did not disappoint. The location was an easy, straightforward walk from both the train and bus stations, as well as ferries to stops around the island, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The surrounding streets are clearly marked, making it simple to find your way to the main attractions. The room and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels provided every few days. I appreciated the extra linen and pillows, as well as the available wardrobe space and in-room safe for valuables. The host was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout the stay. They sent clear self-check-in instructions well in advance, including photos of every step, which made the process very straightforward. There was a code lock at the main gate (which seems fairly common across the island), and a staircase with a few steps leading up to the property entrance on the first floor. The wi-fi signal was good, and the shared breakfast area was equipped with a selection of pre-packaged continental breakfast items (milk, jams, tea, croissants, etc.). There was also crockery and cutlery, an espresso machine with coffee pods, kettle and microwave, and a fridge and freezer for storing food, Hot water was consistent throughout the day, with good water pressure, and daily housekeeping was carried out as advertised. The beds were comfortable enough for a few nights but could benefit from an upgrade, as the springs are noticeable. This was communicated honestly by the host in advance, which I appreciated. I had read reviews about noise at late hours so I had earplugs with me and had no trouble sleeping at night. These can be purchased from a nearby hardware store as needed. There were a few minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that impacted functionality. The shower was on the smaller side, with a relatively high step, which could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. The washing machine and kitchen in the communal areas were not available for use, which wasn't unexpected as they were not included in the listing. Overall, a clean, well-located, and honestly represented place with a helpful host - great for a short stay!

• Jo (10/5): Fabulous, can’t wait to go back. - Loved the location, the property was lovely with furniture that fitted the overall vibe of the place. Estel gave us some really useful advice for getting around the islands and was so welcoming and helpful. There’s a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and kettle. Some breakfast food is provided and there is a shop a few minutes walk away where you can stock up if you need to. The accommodation is in a square with a restaurant below and a bar opposite, so can be noisy. I brought earplugs and an eye mask with me and slept like a baby! Have fallen in love with Venice and would definitely stay here again. I should have booked a longer break!
• SILVIA (7/5): Ubicación céntrica y personal maravilloso - La ubicación estaba muy bien, cerca de la plaza de San Marcos y del Ponte di Rialto. Se podía llegar al hotel fácilmente caminando, además tenía varias estaciones de vaporetto cercanas. La dueña del B&B era muy amable y nos dio muchísimas facilidades. Había una pequeña cocina completamente equipada, donde se podía desayunar por las mañanas. Todos los días se limpiaba el cuarto. Tiene varios supermercados cercanos. Al ser una ubicación tan céntrica, con el campo s.s apostoli y el campo drio la chiesa al lado, para dormir era complicado por el nivel de ruido. Durante toda la noche, a distintas horas ( desde las 22:00- a 4:00), se escuchaba música, conversaciones y gritos, lo normal en un fin de semana pero también ocurrió el resto de días. El otro inconveniente eran las cortinas que no tapaban al completo las ventanas, por lo que entraba bastante luz a todas horas. En general para dormir fue un poco complicado por la luz, el ruido y que la cama no era muy cómoda.

• Dalila Mello (8/5): Posizione top, gentilezza super gradita - Otto punti per la disponibilità e la gentilezza della proprietaria, che è sempre stata in contatto con me, prima durante e dopo il soggiorno. Ci ha permesso di fare il chek in anticipato ed è stata disponibile a darci consigli e suggerimenti sulla città. La camera era ben pulita e la posizione era stupenda! Disponibilità di cuscini e coperte extra molto gradita. Migliorabili gli infissi. Le belle finestre grandi non isolano quasi per nulla dal rumore della strada, né dal freddo quando i termosifoni non sono accesi, né purtroppo dalla luce del sole che al mattino ci ha svegliati all'alba 🥲 Nel complesso, io comunque tornerei volentieri!

• Sara (4/5): - La posizione Purtroppo non mi sono trovata particolarmente bene nella camera che ho affittato. La stanza risultava piuttosto sporca e maltenuta: il pavimento non sembrava essere stato pulito a fondo, era presente un odore sgradevole e ho trovato della sporcizia che sembrava provenire dai precedenti ospiti. Inoltre, alcuni lavori murari erano realizzati in modo approssimativo, la porta del bagno era leggermente danneggiata, l’asse del water era instabile, e sia in camera che in bagno mancavano i paralumi delle lampadine, lasciando le lampadine completamente scoperte. L’odore di chiuso e di naftalina rendeva l’ambiente poco accogliente. Per quanto riguarda gli spazi comuni, anche la cucina era piuttosto trascurata: il parapruzzi era tenuto insieme con dello scotch, e la lavatrice risultava arrugginita. Nel complesso, l’unico aspetto davvero positivo è stata la posizione, molto comoda. Tuttavia, per il resto, non posso purtroppo esprimere un parere positivo né sulla camera né sull’appartamento in generale. Con una maggiore attenzione alla pulizia e alla manutenzione, l’esperienza potrebbe migliorare notevolmente

• C Berenger (7/5): - L'emplacement, la relation avec le personnel, le surclassement dans une chambre avec SDB attenante, l'accès à la cuisine (micro-ondes, frigo, vaisselle, thé et café à volonté) Chambres situées au 1er étage, au dessus d'un bar très bruyant de 18h à 1h, les gens sont dans la rue, même fin octobre ! Il faut avoir de bons bouchons d'oreille, et encore. La literie est vieillissante, impression de trampoline. Le petit déjeuner est basique (industriel et sous vide).
• Catherine (5/5): Basic, Cheap, Good location. - Good location right in the middle of Venice. The sheets and towels were clean and good quality. The accommodation was very basic. If you're happy with cheap and basic you won't be disappointed. Some breakfast options were provided but we bought our own as they were not great. Our separate private bathroom was tiny but adequate. The pictures had suggested it was better than it is. Needs a bit of tlc.
• Grillo (9/5): Todo muy bien - Es una habitación amplia, cómoda, con un baño totalmente equipado. La dueña se Mostró muy amable. Muy limpio cuando llegamos y luego venían a limpiar cada mañana. En el comedor compartido, Tenes todo lo necesario para prepárate un desayuno o merienda y además podes usar la heladera para guardar tu comida. Nuestra habitación daba a la calle y tiene ventanales muy amplio y altos cuyas cortinas black out eran más delatadas y cortas y no cubrían la totalidad de la medida de los ventanales lo que no nos permitió dormir muy bien ya que entraba sol desde muy temprano en la mañana .

Todos los días con dolor de espalda y cuello. El plato de ducha para un niño, para una persona normal muy incómodo. La ubicacion es buena. Relación calidad precio, pensamos que es caro, para lo que tiene. Televisión no tenía. Si mejoran estos aspectos creo que es recomendable, sino lo mejoran ,es mejor buscar otro alojamiento. No soy exigente, pero para mí el colchón creo que es importante, un buen descanso lo es todo

Petit coin cuisine, possibilité de prendre petit déjeuner, café. Un réfrigérateur à disposition. Lit refait chaque jour. Chambre typique. Entrée sécurisée. Douche et Wc sur pallier pour chambre 4… Peu confortable. Aucune possibilité de mettre ses serviettes à sécher…. Sauf en ouvrant portes armoire. Manque chaises pour poser vêtements. Isolation phonique inexistante, avions prévu boules quies indispensables car bar sous fenêtre.

• Richard (7/5): Adequate, but not great. - Clean and comfortable. Nice area. Comunication was good to find and access the property. Very old furnishings and bed. We never saw any staff member at all during our stay. As Venice was such a wonderful place it served its purpose but we would never have booked it anywhere else.

We would stay there anytime again! As of tours... we highly recommend to do the Murano & Burano 5 hr Boat tour. It was very informative and the colors of all the houses in Burano were amazing

• Marlene (8/5): Overall my stay was good and very safe - I like that the location is very near the sites I need to visit. The owner readily answers the concerns we have. I like that the pressure of the water shower is ok. I did not like that the property is near a bar where we can hear the sounds and laughter of the customers at night from 9-12midnight. Even if I want to sleep early I can't coz I can hear them. I also not expecting that the room is on the second floor with a lot of stairs and we are two seniors carrying 2 luggage to the top of the floor.

Absent host - Location The host communicated via WhatsApp explaining she could not be at the property because she "was moving" but I think this may be the standard excuse. It was described as B&B but breakfast was self-service with all packaged items. Guests were required to "clean" all dishes and cutlery. There is no AC in the room and the AC in the house was set at 30 C with a handwritten sign "not to touch". They only came to clean once. The room was basic and hot.
• Stefanie (8/5): Top Preis-Leistung für einen Städtetrip in der schönen Lagunenstadt - Das B&B liegt super schön an einem der vielen kleinen venezianischen Plätze. Es gibt dort direkt auch ein Restaurant, was sehr praktisch aber auch bis spät in die Nacht im Zimmer hörbar ist (zumindest bei offenem Fenster). Ansonsten ist das B&B gut ausgestattet für ein paar Entdeckungstage in der Lagunenstadt. Wir hatten keine AC und keine direkte Anbindung aus unserem Zimmer ans Bad sondern mussten über den Flur. Beides wussten wir Vorfeld, daher für uns kein Problem.

It’s June, 31 degrees , no AC and no windows open, we boiled in this accommodation. Room has en-suite and it’s very clean. It’s a such same in this century we still don’t know to treat turists and we still have rasist people managing business in great locations like Venice !!

• Douglas (10/5): Great stop in Venice - Esther was very helpful with information for using the vaporettos and what sights to see on the nearby islands. The bed was the most comfortable we'd had so far in Europe. There were extra pillows! A big plus for us. The continental breakfast offerings were very nice. In the heart of the Cannaregio, there were numerous restaurants to enjoy many different types of food. As other reviews have stated there is a bar (American drinking type bar, not an Italian bar where you get coffee) directly across from the room we were in, which did not close down until 1am. It wasn't raucous noise, and Italy does keep later hours than we do at home, so we just adjusted to a different culture. It wasn't a 'biggie". There was only one bedside table.

• Giles (7/5): Very clean and comfortable, though sometimes noisy - Good location, not far from the Rialto and Fondamento Nove, about 20-25 minutes' walk from St Mark's. Close to restaurants and a supermarket in a very pleasant and not too touristy area. Comfortable bed in a spacious room with a good bathroom. Kept very clean every day by very thoughtful and helpful staff. A good continental breakfast as complimentary is a very nice additional benefit. There is a large shared kitchen, where one can sit and eat, equipped with fridge, coffee-maker, toaster, kettle and microwave (though no cooker). The bar around the corner can be very noisy until the early hours, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Other nights were quieter. It is a pity that the cooking facilities are limited because there is no cooker. The window blinds and the only chair in our double room are in need of repair (as was noted in a previous Booking.com review from more than a year ago).

• Monica (8/5): Very good - The room is in an apartment with other 3 or 4 rooms. For us, it was large and nicely furnished. The apartment has a shared kitchen, where everything is set for breakfast. We liked that this was well taken care of. The location was good for us, we liked having a small square nearby with a good restaurant. Easy access to the ferry was also a plus.

Room was clean a perfect size. The breakfast was terrific and helpful. Esther was very helpful in providing suggestions and tips for seeing Venice Only minor issue was a little noisy at night as there was a small establishment nearby, but it would quiet down.

• Yanni (4/5): Incredible location and great host, however no hot water. The Luke warm is cold - The host was super attentive to every need. Everything was very neat and tidy and the location is beyond perfect. The breakfast and kitchen was absolutely perfect. The lady host is really good. The issue was the hot water. There was none. When we stayed over at Venice , we had two days of rain so a hot shower was needed. Unfortunately, after we brought it to the host attention, it still was an issue as the water doesn’t get hot. It’s more on the cold side of luke warm .
• Henry (7/5): Delightful B&B overall - Excellent location in Cannaregio. Lovely and welcoming manager, Ester, who gave us helpful directions. Comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Classic delicious Italian breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't have hot water on our 2nd night and it wasn't fixed until midday of our 3rd day (final day) and I had to write to the booking.com contact to enquire about it (rather than the contact person letting me know proactively). Also, our room was right about a bar, so people singing, yelling, and fighting until past midnight, and it felt like they were in your room! So we didn't get great sleeps.

• Charlotte (9/5): Superb - B&B Ca’Dor has an excellent location! We also really enjoyed the rustic feel of the rooms. Ester was so fabulous and helpful during our stay. She explained public transportation and the island to us when we checked in and gave us recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This is our 5th city on our Europe trek and this was our favorite place we stayed. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it! The beds are pretty uncomfortable bc they are box spring, but honestly not a huge issue for me and for the price and everything else it provides it definitely was not a problem!

The - Nothing Everything - the reception area stank of cigarettes, the staff were rude and in denial of any criticism. The blinds kept out no light. The bed was uncomfortable, the noise was HORRIFIC, the chair in the room was mouldy and broken, and the lamp shade was broken too. There was a washing machine (but no surprise it was broken). There is clearly no upkeep of this place
• Evgueni (9/5): I was wonderful. - The location is perfect. You can reach everything by walking. The room is good for two persons.
• Krzysztof (9/5): My wife loves me again after visiting Venice xd - 1. Perfect and secure location - 10/15 mins from Piazza di Marco. Hidden from the main turist roads, so it is also more quiet there. 2. Very nice warm and helpfull hosts. On the first day we got all best directions and reccommendations where to go, how to get there and what to see + what is not worth loosing time for. Everything written on paper and shown on the map at BnB. 3. Room tidied up everyday 4. Italian breakfast + coffee/ tea/ juices <3 (for those who don't know Italian breakfast contains sweet things like croissants. toasts, jam etc, if you need to eat meat, cheese etc maybe Italy is not for you :p, still there is a fridge in the kitchen available for the guests to store and prepare ur own meals). 5. Super old antique furnitures - for some people it could be disadvantage but I LOVE old antique furnitures. It adds a great vibe to the place which is Venice. I recommend this place - especially for those who does not want to waste time driving/ swimming to the center of Venice everyday. Its convenient and it has all the necessary stuff for a place to sleep and recover in between the sightseeing + the Hosts are lovely smiling people which is a great plus. Me and my wife, we had a great time in Venice. Vacation time was too short as always

• Ieva (10/5): Great place! Good price and location. - The owner was super lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Offered a lot of good advice and help when needed. Plus super responsive! The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Not a fault of accommodation and personally I didn’t mind, but if you are a really light sleeper, I would recommend getting some earplugs as people outside can be quite loud.

• Georg (4/5): A basic accomodation too expensive in relatition to it´s price. - A central, but calm location. Too basic equipped. Breakfast of a low level. No fresh bread, fruit or cheese. No presence of staff.
• Zeidaka (7/5): Great and really welcoming - Location and atmosphere was amazing. In room everything what needed. Easy to find and notes for the key and everything else was easy to understand. The chair was a bit broke and fix with scotch tape. The view from the window was great, but the blinds, which were closed, had a do not touch note taped to them.

• Kevin (8/5): Very good - Friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area was a bit noisy.
• Amy (7/5): Good - Lovely decor in the room. Polite and helpful host. Continental breakfast each morning was appreciated. Location is great, just away from crowds but central. We had the external private bathroom, which is outside of the room but you have your own key to access it, so it's not shared with other guests. Came back to the window left open one evening and lots of mosquitos came in, mosquito nets would be helpful. Lots of noise from the bar outside til early hours made it very difficult to sleep. Bed was very loud and would wake you up if you moved in the night.
