L’appartement est idéalement situé, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied et de profiter pleinement de la ville. Le logement est également ultra propre, ce qui est très appréciable. Un immense merci à Eleonora, qui est une hôte exceptionnelle : chaleureuse, solaire, toujours de bon conseil et d’une grande gentillesse. Elle a vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner était parfait, copieux et délicieux — un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée ! Nous avons également adoré voir les gondoles passer la journée juste sous l’appartement — un spectacle absolument fantastique qui rend l’expérience encore plus magique. Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir. .

• claudia miriam (9/5): Dias em veneza - A proposta é uma hospedagem em ambiente mais tradicional. Os móveis são de época, lembrou a casa da minha avó. O quarto é aconchegante e o banheiro bom. Meu quarto tinha vista para o canal. Adorei acordar e ver as gôndolas circularem, muitas com música. Foi adorável. Clima de veneza. A localização é excelente. A senhora Eleonora foi muito simpática e atenciosa. Nós explicou os principais pontos da cidade. Café da manhã feito por ela e muito gostoso. Foi uma ótima estadia. A entrada do prédio parecia estar em obra mas isso não prejudicou em nada a estadia. Voltaria com certeza.

• EDUARDO (10/5): Great place, service and near the main spots. I hope to be back one day! - Great view from the window and near great spots! Check in time should be extended. It felt like AirBNB and I disturbed the manager by not noticing the rules. I admit it was my fault though!
• Hüseyin (10/5): - We stayed at this B&B for 5 days during the Venice Carnival, and it was an incredible experience. The place is truly comfortable, has a perfect location, and offers a stunning canal view. Waking up to the songs of gondoliers in the morning is something we will never forget. Starting the day by making coffee and watching the gondolas pass by from the small balcony was such a delight. A small video i’ll put our rooms view so you can see literally what i mention it. More importantly, it didn’t feel like a hotel; it truly felt like our home in Venice. Our host, Eleonora, was helpful in every way and very informative about the city. This is definitely where we would want to stay on our next trip to Venice.
• Angelika (9/5): - Perfekte Lage (siehe Fotos!), die Gastgeberin hat uns ganz viel wichtige Insider Information gegeben, das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Da wir zum Karneval im Februar hier waren, war das Zimmer aber für unser Temperaturempfinden sehr kühl: die Radiatoren wurden am Vormittag auf kleinste Stufe geschaltet, wenn wir dann abends heim gekommen sind, war es ziemlich kalt im Zimmer. Zurück in Österreich war ich auch schon krank.

• Frédéric (10/5): Séjour parfait - Nous avons passé trois jours parfaits à Venise, et l'accueil d'Eleonora y est pour beaucoup. Il s'agit d'un "vrai" B&B : logement et petit-déjeuner (copieux) Il s'agit aussi d'un vrai logement vénitien, traditionnel, avec une fresque au plafond qui date de plusieurs siècles (j'ai oublié la période exacte à laquelle il a été daté par les experts) Et l'hotesse est également une vraie personne, avec sa propre personnalité mais toujours avec gentilesse. Nous avons très bien dormir. En dessous de nos fenêtres passent des gondoles, parfois avec musique, mais uniquement en journée. L'établissement est situé juste derrière la "Fenice", et parfois des gens circulent sur les canaux au milieu de la nuit, pas toujours discrètement, mais ça ne dure pas longtemps

Wonderful homemade breakfast gave us a good start to the day of adventure.

Номер очень просторный, уютный, есть все необходимое для проживания. Расположение супер, всегда выбираю отели плюс минус в этом месте. Рядом остановка вапоретто, до достопримечательностей рукой подать, много магазинов рядом.
• Robert (10/5): Excellent B&B with a helpful and knowledgeable owner. - Al Teatro B&B is perfectly situated in walking distance to so many important sites in Venice and very close to the vaporetto boats that can take you to points farther away. The Alilaguna boats can bring you straight from the airport to a stop that is an easy walk to the B&B. Breakfast has many choices including homemade flaky cornettos (croissants). The rooms have updated bathrooms and AC if you need it. The proprietor is so helpful and knows the city well having grown up there. We liked everything! Would be a difficult choice if you can’t do stairs.

• Irene (10/5): Perfect host, perfect location, perfect stay - The beautiful historic accomodation was in an excellent location, close to St Marc’s square, water taxis, shopping precinct, gondolas, restaurants bars etc. Our lovely host Eleonora greeted us on arrival and showed us around. It was very clean and well equipped. Comfy bed, great bath and plenty of room. We loved the proximity and view to the canal and opera house. The breakfasts were sensational - Eleonora provided a wonderful spread including freshly made coffee and the best homemade croissants, and she was very helpful with directions and suggestions about where to go and what to do. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
• Irene (10/5): Top Unterkunft für jeden Venedig-Aufenthalt, da Vaporetto San Giglio nur 5 Minuten entfernt ist. - Für unsere Aktivitäten rund ums Teatro La Fenice, war die Unterkunft perfekt; liegt ein bisschen versteckt und daher ruhig - nachts fahren ein paar Motorboote und liefern Waren oder holen den Müll ab. Da ist es leider für ein paar Momente laut. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Joghurt, aber auch hart gekochtem oder weichem Eis sowie Schinken-Käse Toast und warmen Croissants. Frischer Cappuccino. Bequeme Betten; alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und eine Gastgeberin, eine echte Venezianerin, die mehr als nur Tipps zur Stadt gibt, sondern auch Einblicke in den venezianischen Alltag. Es war uns eine Freude mit ihr und den anderen Gästen beim Frühstück zu plaudern - am Communal Table. Laut sind halt nur nachts die paar wenigen Motorboote, die um die Kurve fahren - aber das ist "jammern" auf höchstem Niveau.

She greeted and sat down to us and we discussed our plans in Venice and provided a lot of useful guidance about the city and provided us a map and showed us good routes to the places we wanted to visit and to the meeting points we had for our activities and excursions. She was never in a rush when talking to us and always eager to answer any questions we had. This was our first time to Venice so it was very helpful. The property is in a very close proximity to St Mark’s Square and Academia and the room is very clean. She also provided useful information for the water ferry to the airport.

• Samina (9/5): Great safe location in central Venice. - Excellent central location and only 10mins walk to most tourist sites - easy to pop back to B&B on way to other sites. Lovely to watch gondolas go by from bedroom window on 1st floor - climb about 20 steps. A/C, tea/coffee-making facilities, fridge, tv, great powerful shower and daily cleaning of room. Host is very friendly and helpful in guiding where to go and how to get there. Clear instructions given on how to get to B&B from airport using the Alilaguna orange line water bus (get return ticket €32pp - can use within 30 days - holes punched before you get on boat). Breakfast was nice with a lovely croissant, fresh fruit, cappuccino and boiled egg. but more variety would have been nice eg. scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc..

Also ideal to go to and come from Marco Polo Airport, as the B&B is 10 to 15 minutes away from the boat stop. The place is easy to find if you follow Eleonora's instructions. She is a great host, very professional, and gives great tips to visit the city and choose restaurants. The room was big, very clean, fully equipped (blow-dryer, kettle, tea and coffee, safe, toiletries, mini fridge). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is varied Sometimes a bit of noise in the night / early morning, but not every night

• Steve1967 (10/5): Look no further, this is the place to stay when visiting Venice - I moved to Germany for work and when I can, my wife and I are coming to Venice, it's a unique city , this is our third time and it's the third time at the B&B al Teatro. We loved everything. The owner, Eleonora, the location, the breakfast, the atmosphere... Also, surprisingly quiet considering central location Excellent location in Venice with easy Vaporetto access and close to St. Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. Eleonora were superb in providing information and making sure needs were met. Excellent buffet breakfast with the best cappuccino we've ever had. Beautiful room overlooking the small canal. We enjoyed watching the gondolas and hearing the occasional serenade, It's amazing .The room and bathroom were roomy & clean, comfortable bed. Old world decor Great historical experience.Absolutely charming. Just entered, we immediately feel that we are in real Venice, there are no modern elements here, which adds authenticity to the interior. Eleonora see you soon 😀

The breakfast was very rich and tasty, the croissants always fresh and warm. The room very comfortable and clean, the view of the canal from the balcony is awesome (we could hear the songs of the gondoliers), and the spot is very convenient for our tours.

Rialto bridge and 2 minutes walking from Giglio water bus. The room size was bigger than expected, very clean,, the bed was comfortable. Amazing canal views from our windows. Our host, Eleonara, couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant! it's certainly not cheap but we are in the centre of Venice and it was worth it. Highly recommended 😀❤️

The room was fantastic, especially the canal view. extremely clean and beautifully decorated, authentic atmosphere with ancient Venetian-style floor and walls. Comfy bed. Never had a better nights sleep, Lovely breakfast. Will definitely be back when we’re next in Venice. Nothing to complain about.
• Fabio (10/5): Amazing - Loved this bed and breakfast in the heart of Venice! Maybe a 5 minute walk to Piazza San Marco and 10 minutes from accademia and Rialto bridges but in a very quiet alley. The room had everything we needed -- en suite bath with superior water pressure, air conditioning, and huge windows to enjoy the canal view and gondolas going by Eleonora was a superb host. She was very quick to respond to emails in advance of the trip and really gives you the feeling that she really cares that her guests have the perfect stay. Do yourself a favor and just book your stay here now! We loved everything about our stay.

She gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the bnb as well as offering different options to help us arrive from the airport. The room was beautiful with an amazing view of the canal. Breakfast was great, with lots of options of cereals etc as well as Eleanora bringing out warm croissants and offering to make us various options. Nothing :-)

• Jeffrey (10/5): Great place to stay and a wonderful host. Would stay here again! - Eleonora was a lovely host. We stayed at her B&B the end of September. Directions to the B&B were easy to follow. Breakfasts were super, we had homemade cappuccino (or whatever coffee/tea you wanted) prepared fresh each morning with cold breakfast foods (cereal, yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, rolls) set out, and warm croissants, warm cheese and prosciutto breakfast paninis or eggs in the morning. She provided suggestions for dining and gelato, and when it was time to leave, she gave us directions and info on how to catch the train to Florence. We took advantage of her dinner suggestions and tried the places she suggested, they were great. Our favorite was Sacre and Profane, a small bar tucked into a quiet spot near the Rialto Bridge. The bed was comfy, the room temperature was perfect, we left the windows open during the day and it was comfortably cool sleeping. We enjoyed watching/listening to the gondolas go by, sometimes with singing gondoliers. The first morning we had no hot water in the shower and at breakfast she let us know she had an issue with the hot water and discounted our stay for that day. It was fixed by the next morning. Be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to carry your bags up—I wish I had packed a smaller bag. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Lots of history and a more interesting place than a tourist hotel. We would definitely return to B&B Al teatro the next time we venture to Venice. Eleonora also was patient with my halting Italian at breakfast.

• Paula (7/5): Good - The hostess was so very nice and accomodating. Suggested a few restaurants that were wonderful (visit VinoVino!) Room tended to get warm. Couldnt open windows due to mosquitoes, but air conditioning wasnt cool enough.

• Zeeshan (10/5): Fantastic - Loved the view! Loved the host and location. We cannot wait to go back and visit with Eleanora. She gave excellent directions and suggestions for our stay! Mosquitos are bad at night! Try not to sleep with the windows open.

• Lara (9/5): Amazing ! - we enjoyed every single moment in Venice ,Eleonora was really helpful and a great host with the morning chat and all advices she gave us to explore the city specially it was our first time, the location is great with a canal view, the room was very comfortable and cozy you can feel that she put her touch in everything. I also like the candles scent she lighted at night.
• Mark (10/5): Venice is a little pricey and could do with a clean up. Try to visit the areas off the beaten track. - Great Central location, very comfortable, great breakfast and a very helpful and pleasant Landlady. She gave us great locations to eat at and visit, also gave us best advice for getting around. She told us about Lido and we loved it there, would never have gone there if she hadn't recommended it. Nothing we didn't like about the B&B. Would recommend a stay there.
