• Guest (9/5): Excellent séjour avec un personnel attentif, un emplacement très pratique et une chambre propre et confortable. - Établissement super bien placé en plein centre. Personnel charmant. Chambre joliment décorée et silencieuse Petit déjeuner un tout petit peu juste. Boissons proposées dans des tasses trop petites à mon goût.
• Ann (10/5): We loved it so much, we would stay there again for sure. - The location was right in the heart of Florence so you could walk to everything. The room was very spacious and comfortable with 2 big windows overlooking the area. The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful…Especially the woman (can’t remember her name) who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms. She was lovely and always wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The area is very loud so it may not suit everyone but the windows and shutters block out 90% of the noise at night so you can sleep.

• Katia (8/5): Muy buena. Recomiendo. - La ubicación increíble justo al medio de la ciudad. La amabilidad con la que nos recibió el trabajador de recepción. Estaba todo muy limpio y habitación súper amplia. El baño también. El wifi funcionaba perfecto. Llegar con auto es bastante complicado y caro. Las escaleras son difíciles de subir con maletas y bolsos. No se podía ajustar la temperatura del aire acondicionado. El desayuno era muy básico, no había muchas opciones, la señora que atendía no era muy amable y no permitía calentar panes que no fueran de miga.

• Bonnie (10/5): Recommend - would stay at the Residenza again. - Location, excellent front desk staff (help w/ luggage - there is no elevator & stone stairs consistent w/ age of building, quiet despite being on a central street a short walk from the Duomo (great people watching), comfortable beds, kettle & tea in the room, responsive to inquires, great value for price. Stairs can be a challenge if travelling w/ heavy luggage, but as mentioned, staff will assist. On a busy pedestrian street, so be prepared to work your way through crowds to access the building.

• Aneta12345 (9/5): - Lovely place! In the middle of Florence, everything is close! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host is a lovely, friendly lady - we really enjoyed our stay.the breakfast was very nice, small but really Italian! Just the heating is a problem. Its done by aircon and in ours it didnt heat much. In other two rooms, the aircon was heating like crazy but then when off, the rooms were quickly becoming cold.

• Julia (10/5): Central and comfortable stay in Florence - We spent a night in the a beautiful family room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had all amenities including a fridge, water bottles and a tea set with biscuits. The breakfast was good with a good range of continental options. The hotel is in a lovely palazzo building full of character. The location is excellent, right next to the main sights. The staff were friendly and helpful. It would be good to provide coffee sachets in the room.

• Isobel (9/5): - Wonderful, spacious room with a huge bathroom. Very comfortable bed, large wardrobe for unpacking clothes. Despite literally being in the thick of the center (5min walk to Uffizi, 5mins to Duomo), the windows keep out all the street noise! Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. They give you cookies everyday that are DELICIOUS. Really nothing to put here! Have been traveling around Europe for months (read: lots of hotel stays) - this is one of the best places we have stayed in.

Très grande douche. Bof pour le petit déjeuner. Pas de pain frais, que du pain de mie industriel. La déco de la chambre n°1 rustique/ vieillotte, ne correspond pas aux photos. Mais rien de grave. Nous avons payé 61€ pour 1 jour et demi de parking...qui est à 8 minutes à pieds de l'hôtel

Room didn‘t have a proper window, just frosted glass panes into a tiny, dark inner courtyard. Was locked out from 12:30AM to 6:15AM because keycard fell out of my pocket. Was finally let in by guests leaving. Contact number was turned off. Doorbell wasn‘t answered. Then asked to pay for a new card. This is unacceptable.

• Hazel (10/5): - The property was centrally located so that every place I needed to get to was within walking distance. The staff was very friendly. I had to check-in after 7 pm and Daniel provided easy and clear instructions to check myself in. I also had to check-out really early, and Daniel again was very helpful in setting up a 4 am taxi pickup on a Sunday morning. Staying at this place made me feel like I was renting out a nice little apartment in the center of Florence! Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend staying here to others!

• Annette (8/5): Good Location but Uncomfortable Bed - Location to everything We could not open the door to our room. We tried for over half an hour. Daniel did not answer phone/text/email to assist us. There was something wrong with the door but it just simply did not open for us. But even worse, no one contacted us the next day to find out if we got in alright. I thought that was quite poor customer service. Also the bed was hard as a rock. After two days of sightseeing my backwards really quite sore. The shower was very strong and hot but there was no coffee in the room.

It is a great location and I highly recommend it for this. The room was vaulted and pretty. The bed was ok, didn’t sleep the best on it. That could be getting older and needing a firmer mattress. Bathroom was very nice. The breakfast was ok and allergies made it not so great. My husband is gluten free. We ended up eating out the second morning for breakfast. I really wish they didn’t lock up the kitchen or at least silverware. We ended up using espresso spoons when our delivery didn’t bring us any. My husband flew in to meet up with me and was exhausted, so we ordered in. It was also very hard for him to find, since it was his first time to Florence.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful family room - From the room details and convenient location just minutes from the Duomo to the wonderful Maria who made our family feel at home. Maria was very attentive and such a joy to speak with as she made our cappucinos each morning. The breakfast was a good variety and fresh. We chose a family room that looked to be located away from the main street, so very quiet and ample room for our family of 5 to share the space. We would stay here again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning — a true blessing in the summer heat. A wonderful stay all around. Highly recommend!

• Gianni (7/5): Great Location!! Not a proper Hotel. Strict Check Out Policy - Centrally located in the center of Firenze. Cold a/c. Good size shower and bathroom. Manager was a nice young man. Not a true hotel. It is an apartment. Steep stairs to unit. Breakfast was poor. Cleaning person was kind of rude rushing/standing over us exactly at 10:00 (when she saw that we were packing and 4/5 minutes from being finished). Was a sour way to wrap up our stay.

• Rachel (9/5): Perfect location and amenities in Florence! - Perfect location right in the centre of Florence short walking distance to all the mains areas. Check in process was smooth and easy. We were staying for one night as we previously had visited two weeks ago we came to try a restaurant and do some shopping and this stay was perfect for this - the aircon was a dream and really needed after being out in the heat. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful and the building was peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Florence :) The bed is on the firm side but actually I find this to be a nice surprise for a night as it resets your back I just wouldn’t do a long stay on it.

• Satya (10/5): - This property is adjoining the square in front of Palazzo Vecchio! Its civic square of Florentine govt. since about 14 th century!! In other words Location is simply invaluable if you’re interested in history. Host told us the we stayed has one of the walls which maybe 700 years old. Stunning. But rooms are clean and well maintained with modern amenities like air conditioners, locker, small refrigerator, attached bathrooms etc. Host Daniello ( if I got the name right) was very friendly and even helped Carr our luggage upstairs.) and so is other staff member, very helpful. Bathroom is a little small, no lift. But those are the only two disadvantages. But otherwise it’s an amazing location, once you step out of apartment you are in medieval renaissance street (ofcourse you have everything in street Rayban, tissot and also amazing food scene right there) and also Florence Duomo is close by , as well as Uffizi museum and Academia gallery!

Maria was our host and she was awesome, super helpful and friendly. I stayed with my wife and 8 year old son, this was a great family friendly hotel. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence for the first time.

The room we had was dark and lacked character compared to the photos advertised. We had French doors that opened up to an internal courtyard which was disappointing. Not sure what you need to book and pay to get a view of the front streets.
