• IDA (9/5): Comfortable, convenient, excellent value. Would stay again and recommend. - Very comfortable large 350 sq feet (35 m2). Excellent bed and linens and towels. Clean facilities. Good coffee maker, fridge, microwave.Breakfast was a superb surprise: juice, eggs, baked goods, cheeses, yogurt, cold cuts, 2 buns, fruit delivered to your door at 0730h daily. Enough for a big breakfast and to make 2 large sandwiches to go! We only purchased dinners in Amsterdam centre at night. Boat Hotel was very stable: no motion at all. Bright unit with lots of windows. Very quiet. Fast Internet. Great Netflix and YouTube. Awesome 4 nights for us. Host was very helpful helping us try find tickets to main events. Tram stops 100 meters away that go in all directions. Get all day tram pass. 15 minutes to centre. 40 min to airport. Best to Uber to front door if you have luggage: €30 for 2. Nothing. People with mobility issues: be careful with tall stairs and ramps.
• Klaudia (9/5): Świetna opcja noclegowa! - Świetna lokalizacja (kilka minut do przystanków komunikacji miejskiej, a stamtąd około 15 min do centrum). Urokliwy domek na wodzie, czas spędzony na ławce przy nim, zaraz przy wodzie to super sprawa. Bardzo miły, pomocny i responsywny gospodarz.

• Silke (8/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt und ein sehr netter Gastgeber! - Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, bequemes Bett, gute Dusche, liebevolles Frühstück, netter Gastgeber. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist sehr klein und es ist nachts SEHR hell auf dem Boot. Verdunklungsvorhänge wären sehr schön.

• Doreen (8/5): Amsterdam ist eine Reise wert und die Übernachtung im Hausboot fühlt sich autentisch an - Der Vermieter vom Boathotel hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und stand mit Rat und Tipps zur Verfügung. Das Boat liegt sehr zentral. Besonders hat uns das Frühstück gefallen, das abwechslungsreich und liebevoll in einer Kiste jeden Morgen vor der Tür stand.

• David (10/5): Had a great time in Amsterdam. Boathotel was the ideal place for us to be based to enjoy the city! - Great location, just 10 mins on the No 22 bus to Centraal. Very quiet indeed. Lovely warm cozy boat-based apartment with underfloor heating. Views over the canal with visiting parakeets. Great breakfast delivered to the door each morning. Ideally positioned for the delights of Javastraat and the nearby local, Bar Joost on Molukkenstraat. An extremely comfortable bed and lovely and clean all round. There was nothing not to like about this accommodation. Superb!

• Roman Quelen (9/5): - Emplacement idéal, proche des restaurants et des commerces sans être au milieu de l'afflux de touristes. Expérience originale et authentique avec un hôte aux petits soins. Le seul point à noter est l'absence de rideaux occultants qui peut être un souci si vous êtes habitués à l'obscurité, notamment à cause des lampadaires allumés toute la nuit.

Quiet at night and lots of privacy. René was a fantastic and kind host, and delivered fresh breakfast every morning! Highly recommend. Nothing.

Le petit déjeuner est laissé devant la porte par notre gentil hôte,dans une malette,chaque matin,avec des bonnes viennoiseries ,œufs,jus,fruits,yaourts,fromage,charcuterie,lait.. Le lit est grand et on dort très bien. La petite terrasse avec une banquette large et coussins ,ça contribue au charme. Bus et tramway vers le centre,gare et centre,à 10 min de marche Merci à nôtre hôte René pour tous les bons conseils et pour avoir gardé nos bagages,vu qu’on avait notre train à 18 h.

• Jess (10/5): Great stay by the water, delicious breakfast! Easy to get to all the sights in Amsterdam. - So much to like here. Lovely to be on the waterfront, really peaceful sitting on the decking watching the birds in the morning and boats in the afternoon. The host was really kind and the breakfast was amazing, great selection of food delivered every morning. Plenty of teas and coffees provided also. Regular buses and trams run from just around the corner and it doesn't take long to get into Amsterdam central to explore. The local neighbourhood with a market and lots of independent shops was vibrant in itself. Would recommend! A minor thing, but it would have been useful to have a hob to cook on in the kitchen area, although we were fine with the microwave for our short stay.

• Kateryna (10/5): It was an amazing boat, amazing Amsterdam and unforgettable Rene! - Everything was perfect from disembarking from the taxi upon arrival at the Bed Breakfast Boat, to boarding the taxi for the ride to the airport! I had planned to spend a few days with my children who are currently in the Netherlands and celebrate King's Day which fell on the dates of our trip. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time at Bed Breakfast Boat, the gate was closed, but at the entrance there was a note waiting for me: “Dear Katerina, if you cannot contact me, just ring the doorbell” and this was very nice because at that time I was having problems with mobile communication and the Internet. We were met by Rene, who was just finishing preparing the house for our vacation. We looked around the house, dropped our things off and went for a walk in Amsterdam, where, of course, we stayed until the evening, and when we returned, climate control was waiting for us in the house (which was very convenient because it got cold in the evening) and a multi-storey composition of containers with food in the refrigerator, including drinks, milk, etc. Since we needed an extra bed, we asked Rene and he transformed the corner sofa in the living room into a luxurious bed with fresh linen. In the morning, a chest with breakfast was waiting for us by the door... The days flew by in the bustle of the holidays and our beautiful house, but the trip was ending and it was time to pack. Considering the fact that I am from Ukraine and our mobile operator does not always have the ability to provide high-quality Internet, we asked Rene to print out my boarding pass and the ticket was waiting for me at the door. René gave us small souvenirs when we left, which will always remind us of this amazing place, and René himself will forever be in our hearts! We want to return to this place, immerse ourselves in this atmosphere and meet such wonderful people as René along the way!

A houseboat was a welcome change to a hotel and staying on the water had a calming feel to it. Rene was very helpful and the breakfasts he dropped off each morning was great. Would highly recommend staying here. The house boat is in a good location within easy walk of multiple tram stops and bicycle lanes. None

• Rebecca (8/5): A great place to stay! - Rene was a super host, answered my many questions and helped us navigate the public transport with ease. The breakfast basket every morning was lovley and delicious with fresh goods. There is a lot of DVDs to choose from which was nice for the evenings. The option to rent bikes was a nice touch too. Location was good, a short walk to the shops and a bus stop close by to get to the centre of Amsterdam. The house boat didn't feel like a boat at all, no rocking so no chance of sea sickness! Overall a great stay, would definitely come again! Personally I sleep with 2 pillows, so the option of another in the wardrobe if someone wished for more than one would be a nice addition. There was a small bit of mould in the bathroom. The air-conditioning unit didn't work. We pulled the sofa bed out one evening for a movie night and it had a handful of hair on it. A blanket would also have been a nice addition too for getting comfy in the sofa / sofa bed.
