• Eric (9/5): Danke, wir würden hierzu jederzeit wieder kommen - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns echt gute Tipps gegeben. Selbst bei Regen konnten wir die Dachterasse nutzen, da ein Teil überdacht ist. Man geht aus der Tür und ist schon mitten im Leben von Trastevere. Auch das Frühstück in der Bar ist empfehlenswert. Es ist nicht so laut, wie manche Leute schrieben Die Dusche könnte etwas größer sein,aber man kann sich damit arrangieren.

Infelizmente tinha muito barulho na região o que prejudicou nosso descanso durante à noite. O café da manhã incluso é apenas um voucher em uma padaria próxima, que nos dá direito a um café ou cappuccino e um croissant ou sanduíche.

Close to the river, perfect location mid point between major sight seeing destinations, amazing restaurants very close, lovely wine bar below. Very clean, nice sized room. Good sized bathroom (shower is small but adequate for getting clean!) Air con Comfortable bed and extra pillows! We were so busy sightseeing that the stay was perfect for what we wanted, however, being picky we would have benefitted from: - Would have loved a kettle and fridge in the room rather than in the communal areas. - It was noisy during the night, due to the fantastic location,, but because we had read reviews we brought ear plugs and that was a great decision. - Breakfast would have benefitted from a bit of variety rather than just a pastry, however the bar was good, the tea and coffee and juices were great, and the pastry selection was fab... would have just loved another food option :-)
• 36b48528423670ad78bdc6c65a4cae41 (6/5): Nice place but if you sleep light consider the noise. - Livia was friendly and tried to be helpful and I hate to give a bad review but I have to be honest about my personal experience with the 3 nights I stayed. The property was comfortable and close to everything. Breakfast was reasonable. There was a fridge in the communal room with water, yoghurts and milk. Also a coffee machine with pods. These were replenished daily. Livia made recommendations for restaurants and also kindly allowed early check in for me. For me personally far too noisy. I had 3 terrible nights sleep and I don’t know how this isn’t reflected in other reviews. Nearby restaurants with outdoor seating are busy until around midnight. The bar next to the room was noisy until around 1:30AM. (The website claims the bar closes at 12am but there was still noise coming from there) Each night at around 3AM a group of 10+ Italian speakers would gather on the corner and laugh, shout, scream and stumbling around drunk. (I’m not sure if they are restaurant staff who have a drink after work is finished) 4am the bin wagon reverses down the street with the reversing alarm sounding and then noisily empties the trash. The windows don’t block much sound, they also don’t block much light even with the shutters closed. Waking to use the bathroom I could easily see around the room without a need to turn in the light since the apartment balcony spotlights across the street shine into the room. The wall between the room and the guest next door provides no sound deadening. You can hear every word, every footstep, each time they use a light switch and a plug socket. Also booking.com clams the payment made on here includes all taxes and charges but when you arrive you are charged €6 cash per person per night. The shower which features in a lot of the reviews on this property. Well I just assumed it was ‘larger’ people who were complaining and that it wouldn’t be an issue for me. Well I’m 5’11, 182lbs (83kg) wear medium UK shirt size and a 34inch waist. I struggled to wash myself in the shower cubicle as it was pretty tiny. So if you are bigger than me then it might be a bit too small for you. I will add that I am a light sleeper and others might not find it as bad as me, but the lack of sleep did affect my experiences so I feel I should be honest in the review. Sorry Livia, I mean no offence or anything personal.

Breakfast is cafe & croissant nearby but owner also offers yogurt & cafe/tea. The shower may be the tightest ever- barely room to turn around!

Et le sandwich salé au petit déjeuner était accordé a une personne sur 2 alors que nous avions bien un ticket chacun. Et dommage que ce ne soit pas au même endroit que là où on dort.

• Ismail (7/5): Good - Great location, in the heart of Trastevere, easy to reach the historical sights, lovely terrace, daily cleaning, free coffee-tea. They give you coupons for breakfast in a local cafe, nice place to hang out in the neighborhood. - We were not aware that it's a shared flat, otherwise we wouldn't book it, the text in the description does not state it explicitly. The price is very high for a shared flat. - The kitchen door is locked, so you can not cook or warm your food. There is only the refrigerator in the common room, a coffee machine, a kettle, teas, coffees and some cakes. - Livia is nice and responsive, but we found better answers by ourselves on how to come from and go back to the airport. (My tip: You can take the airport shuttle bus from Ciampino to Termini, then you take the bus "H" to the flat. On the way back to airport you can take a taxi from a very close taxi station, it was full of taxis)

• E.m.c.n. (9/5): Pictures accurate, great location, definetly staying again! - We've been in Rome more than 5 times and this is definitely a place we would stay again. It was ideal for events at Circus Maximus, yet close enough for a walk to other tourist attractions. Third floor with elevator (which we appreciate). Livia was very attentive and made checking in and out a smooth and uneventful experience. At night, the bars and neighborhood can be noisy on weekends. The windows were sound resistant, so it was ok. It is a large bathroom indeed (for European standards, at least) but with a very tiny shower box.

Self-checkin was super convenient and Livia was so accommodating in letting us keep our luggage there after checkout. Roof deck is a nice bonus!!!! You're given breakfast coupons for a local cafe which was a delightful way to experience the local feeling of the area. So fun! Some have commented on the small shower - Can confirm it's tight, but perfectly functional, and everything else makes up for it.

It was enough space in room for two, clean and comfortable. Would recommend! The shower space was super small we managed fine but if you are a big person you might not fit.

• Anna (9/5): Superb - Great location in a neighbourhood which is not too noisy. This is our third time in this area, it is just perfect. Easy walk into the centre of Rome, also handy to the bus (or tram whenever the track upgrade is finished). Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The host was easy to contact and responsive and helpful with recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast is a voucher for coffee and pastry at a nearby bar. As others have mentioned, the shower is very small.

A ton of restaurants in the area, close to 2 bridges to walk to "Rome"; one which goes through Isola Tiberina. There's a lift, which is great! Staff was very communicative and responsive. The room was very clean with a typical small Italian stall shower. Blackout shades to block the morning sun or afternoon heat. They give you a ticket for breakfast at a local "bar" so you can get a coffee and pastry. I needed a place at the last minute in Trastevere and this was perfect!

• Caroline (9/5): Great stay in the heart of Trastevere - The room was bright, clean and large enough for us not to feel cramped. The room had air conditioning, we was a real boon ... The location was brilliant - in the heart of Trastevere and within walking distance of all the parts that we wanted to visit. And a very easy ride to the airport. Livia was super helpful throughout our stay. The pillows weren't that comfortable but I appreciate every person is different in that respect. Getting in and out of the shower was a bit of a tight squeeze, but the shower itself was lovely. Our room overlooked the square outside, so it was a bit noisy on one night, even with the window closed, but the noise had died down by midnight. Overall, we'd be happy to stay at Livia's again.

The breakfast voucher gives you a croissant and cappuccino at the nearby café. Best croissant I had all trip!! The B&B has rooftop access that looks over Trastevere. So beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We loved the large window that overlooked the square. Livia also helped us arrange airport transportation which was so helpful. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Livia! The shower was slow to drain, but when we told Livia about this issue she was quick to come assess.
• Kaz (8/5): A nice place in Trastevere - Location was great, close proximity to great food venues and not too far to walk to most major attractions. The bedroom was a decent size, bed and pillows were comfortable. Livia was mostly contactable by phone and helpful with any query. Noise from patrons of close by restaurants continued very late into the night. The shower in the ensuite was extremely small (68cm x 68cm), not good for larger people. Maybe benefit from a shower caddy as when bending over to pick up shampoo bottle you can't help but knocking the tap and turn off the water 🤣 or scald yourself 😔 From previous experiences at B & B's we were expecting a good breakfast. Sadly, a voucher for a croissant and coffee at a local venue just didn't quite cut it for us.

• Ildiko (10/5): We really enjoyed staying at Livia B&B. Communication with Livia was very quick and friendly. - The rooms were newly refurbished, with very comfortable beds, and very clean. The room was a good size, and was checked daily. The windows looked onto the square, and we had a lovely rooftop view. The room also has air conditioning if you need it. Nothing springs to mind. If you are looking for a full breakfast, then perhaps this may not be your hotel, but we enjoyed having breakfast outside at the nearby cafe.

It can get noisy in the evening because of the bars on the square, so the best thing to do is go out yourself.
