• X.M (9/5): Incredibly nice stay and superfriendly host! - The place was very spacious and clean, and incredibly convenient in the middle of the city centre. The living room was big enough to host several people. It had lots of daylight going in and a nice view on the canals. Host was super friendly and nice, we had a special request as we had a baby and he went above and beyond to accommodate. Very much appreciated! The masterbedroom was colder than the rest of the place because the heating was arranged and measured through the living room. The door of the shower is a bit noisy opening and closing which is less convenient since the baby was sleeping in the room next to it.
• Karan (10/5): We had the best time!!! - Everything! The location was absolutely amazing, It does have a steep staircase, but the owner was so helpful with our arrival. We absolutely loved the views and vibe of the apartment! Pieter was amazing and helpful with anything we needed. The only thing that could have been better was if there was a way to warm liquid or leftovers.

• Paraskevi (10/5): Amazing - The location is amazing, the view breathtaking! The apartment is gorgeous, clean, has everything and more you need for your stay and we loved the decor. It is situated in a great neighborhood in Amsterdam and everything is with walking distance. Museums, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, markets. Everything was perfect! The owner is extraordinary! He is super nice and made us feel welcome. Helped us with anything we needed. It is really a home away from home! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam!!!

We highly recommend this property as a two bedro - Great location with easy walking distance to attractions, public transportation and restaurants. Steep stairs but that is a feature of the architecture of the period building and we were aware of the lack of elevator at the time of booking.

• Simone (10/5): Comfortable , Close to everything - From the moment we walked in we were so very happy. More Beautiful than the photos. Spacious, everything you needed. The beds are incredibly comfortable & the bath towels so soft. Villeroy Boch coffee cups etc. stunning wine glasses. Plenty of tourist books to read. Sofa very comfortable & you can pass the day over looking the canal with a wine. Tram close by many places near for breakfast a wine & dinner . Highly recommend this beautifully decorated Airbnb . • Keren (10/5): - The apartment is located on one of the most beautiful and charming streets in Amsterdam. However, the apartment is quiet and has a great view of the canal. The apartment is very well decorated, beautiful and has an extraordinary charm. It was very clean and the staff was kind and friendly. We felt that they made a special effort to help us. Thank you! The bedrooms are tiny.

• Barbaraw92 (9/5): Location, location, location! - Like: - comfortable mattress and very soft bedding - large living/dining room area - location, location, location!! - Pieter is such a lovely and helpful host Room for improvement: - no microwave to reheat food, only fridge and dishwasher so not really practical at all, cannot reheat food - living room could be more practical, a lot of books open for display and a ginormous living room table which - floor skirting damaged in the bathroom - the glass door for the shower gets stuck against the stone edge which is very risky and could cause damage or the glass to crack over time - 2nd bedroom is tiny, wall to wall bed - main bedroom hardly any space to maneuver - extremely steep staircase leading up to the property, people with mobility issues will definitely struggle

Beautiful and spacious living room and good kitchen space with well-stocked coffee machine. Steep stairs up to apartment. Bedrooms are small but didn’t care!

He also sent us a full list of delicious restaurants around Amsterdam. The property is located in a central place, easy to get to places and felt very safe. We would definitely stay at Pieter’s place again.

• Lauren (10/5): Beautiful - The apartment was gorgeous with a large window overlooking the canal. It’s located on the 2nd floor without an elevator. Not an issue for us but is the only reason I won’t be able to stay here next time I visit due to my guest not being able to handle the stairs

He also made a reservation for us that I was unable to do from Australia before we arrived. The styling was so beautiful and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Drinks, coffees and treats were a welcome surprise. We loved everything, even the stairs though challenging gave us many laughs.

The kitchen was fully stocked with drinks and snacks, and the bathroom provided soap, shampoo, body wash along with TVs in both rooms and air conditioning. The decor was exquisite, and we were made very welcome by the host.

• Gemaltham (9/5): It was a fabulous stay and Pieter was very helpful, I would recommend this place to stay. - The location of the apartment is very central and close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops, tourist attractions and walks. It over looks and beautiful canal and was very quiet. The apartment was equipped with lots of lovely touches, e.g mini bar, dressing gowns, slippers, towels, shower room products and the wonderful smell of the reed diffusers and fresh flowers everywhere. The bed was very comfortable. It was a perfect stay. The only thing to be aware of is, if two couples are staying there, the second bedroom is very small ! with three walls around the bed and very little floor space.
• Sophie (10/5): A beautiful, centrally located apartment overlooking the canal. - We loved our stay at Pieter's amazing apartment. The location couldn't be beaten in our opinion. Pieter's hospitality (his meet and greet) couldn't have been nicer and the living space was perfect. Yes the bedrooms are small but that's central Amsterdam for you. The living room is HUGE and the views are beautiful over the canal. Nothing.

• Barbara (8/5): Very good - Great location in the centre of Amsterdam overlooking the Keysersgracht! Tastefully decorated appartment. Friendly and helpfull host. Second bedroom is quite small. So great if you travel with kids as we did, but perhaps not ideal for two couples.

• Michael (10/5): Very comfortable and stylish apartment 15 minutes walk to almost every attraction in Amsterdam. - Such a nice apartment centrally located in a fun shopping district. Everything was very nice, clean and thoughtful. The shower is large and spacious and the living room very relaxing with views of the canal. Would have liked to have a microwave. Also, no way to plug the toaster in the kitchen- even with the extension cord. Laundry machine was helpful, but needs to be on a flat, level surface- not on carpet.

The warm welcome, the luxuriously decorated and furnished apartment, spectacular view, conveniently located, so relaxing, such a wonderful and memorable experience, we just love it there and already booked our next stay :o) There´s really nothing to mention here. Everything was just perfect.

• Grace (9/5): Modern, comfortable apartment in the best part of the city! - Very clean and comfortable in the common areas with easy access to the trams which take you all over the city (right outside!). The location truly was incredible - short walks to shopping/eats/museums and of course the incredible view of the canal. Traveling with another couple, we enjoyed having a large living room space to relax and chat. The amenities were also very modern in the kitchen and bathrooms. We didn't realize the bathroom facilities did not have solid doors but rather frosted glass doors. Since we weren't 100% comfortable showering/using the toilet in front of the other couple, we used the hallway door as a "bathroom door" and called to the others when we wanted to use it. The rooms overall were also very small - but not a problem if you are expecting this!

The unit is also very close to a tram stop and within walking distance of very good restaurants. The second bedroom was very small, but the location and large comfortable lounge made up for it

Provided us with some refreshments and snacks too. Great host, was easy to communicate and gave us some good recommendations on where to eat. One of the bedrooms is very small and cramped. No cooking facilities despite a beautiful kitchen. Not even a microwave.

• Neil (9/5): Excellent apartment - great location - Fantastic location, felt privileged to stay in a traditional Amsterdam house, don’t out really well and really comfortable, central location which made everywhere accessible. Nice touch with the drinks and welcome packs. Hosts really helpful, great we could leave our bags. The second bedroom although very comfortable was very small. Ok for a couple of friends sharing. Bathroom arrangement also not very private - but it worked ok for a couple of days.

• Sam (9/5): Family stay in lovely Amsterdam apartment - Apartment is beautifully decorated with a nice large living area. Location was right near a tram stop and in walking distance of many shops and restaraunts. Host kindly left us snacks and beverages to enjoy which was a nice touch. Only fault I can think of is that the air conditioners (which were much appreciated in July) were a bit noisy.
• Olga (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Imagine you walk into a brightly lit spacious apartment that greets you with a fresh scent. Your host puts some cold water for you, gives you a quick tour and leaves. You look outside a window to a canal and an array or buildings across. Then you walk into a bedroom to find a robe and slippers and a chocolate. You take a shower… aah, the water is warm, the water pressure is perfect, the body wash smells so good! You wrap yourself in a fluffy towel or a robe and make a cup of tea with a stroopwaffel. It’s hard to choose which one to make: the selection is big. Or maybe you want some cold beer or soda? Just open the fridge. You can gaze outside the window, or sit in a couch and look at the art books, learning about Rembrandt or Vermeer. When you are ready to explore, go for a walk or hop on a tram that’s one minute walk away from the building. The place is just as described, just perfect. I am so glad we stayed there! Neighbors are remodeling, so at times we heard their equipment, but only because we happened to be home during business hours. The apartment is on the second floor and there are steep stairs, but the host helped us with the luggage.

• נועם (10/5): Don’t hesitate and book this place! - On pics it looks beautiful but in reality it soooo much better ! It’s big spacy and the little details are extraordinary. The location is perfect you can go by foot practically anywhere. Pieter the owner is so kind and sweet. It was a perfect match.
• John (10/5): Living the dream in Amsterdam - The location was fantastic - Easy to walk to all of the city's Highlights. The main living area was beautifully done. The bedrooms are small but the beds are comfy. No cooking at this spot, but the kitchen had everything else we needed - fridge, dishwasher nice wine glasses, etc. The host was awesome, and provided snacks and drinks, towels, robes, maps, etc. Location was great for shopping, museums, canal tours, and more. While the bathroom and shower are wonderful and high quality, we could have used a place to hang towels and robes. But that is being nitpicky. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay at this location again.

I was very impressed with the flowers he arranged for us in the living room and even in the bathroom! The fridge was stocked with water, beers, sodas and even Prosecco! We liked everything and had a great time in Amsterdam.
• Tim (10/5): Incredible staycation and we would stayagain! - A fantastic location with incredible service. Villa was amazing helping us get into the apartment which was fully stocked with drinks, and all the amenities needed to have an incredible stay. The giant window in the front overlooking the canal made us feel as if we were natives. Lots of wonderful restaurants and sightseeing nearby. The stairs are a little crazy getting up and down, but that is what is expected in Amsterdam.
