- George (10/5): - Cozy apartment, easy to access, nice terrace, amazing bed
- Korkut (10/5): Everything was Great… -
- William (10/5): - This is the best place. We loved every about it and will be back on our next trip to Amsterdam.

- Karen (10/5): Superb! - The location is unbeatable - a very short walk from all of the major museums, a supermarket, laundromat and numerous amazing restaurants and cafes. We had some absolutely amazing food and drinks during our stay! The apartment was private, clean and beautifully furnished - the large terrace/balcony was glorious in the afternoon sun after long days out. We had everything we needed, and more! Daan was exceptionally warm friendly and provided great tips for exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. The gorgeous fresh roses in the apartment, basket of fruit, gourmet chocolates and drinks were very much appreciated as were all of the other special touches. We would and will definitely stay here again! Such great memories to take home with us from Amsterdam! ❤️ We loved everything, we just wish we had more time.
- Akansu (9/5): It was such a warm welcoming and comfortable cozy stay during my business trip. I even woke up to the parrots chipping r -

- Julie (10/5): Quiet retreat with outside space - Quiet but central location for art/ museums. Short walk to metro in to very centre and plenty of local places to eat. Host is very welcoming. Plenty of coffee and tea provided, bottle of wine, beer, chocolates and fresh flowers to welcome us. Place is clean and lots of thought obviously gone into making place comfortable . Private roof terrace. Nothing
- Malcolm (9/5): Had a great week here, blue sky and sun so the terrace was well used. Bonus, lovely owners! - Great location, exceptional bed, a lift up to the fifth floor apartment and good rooftop views over the city.
It also benefits from having probably one of the most private terraces in Amsterdam. We loved it!
Above all the owners were outstanding, we had some travel issues at the start of our holiday and it has to be said that we have never experienced this level of kindness and generosity from a landlord. They went far above and beyond what would be expected, even putting themselves out to a considerable extent to improve our situation. Outstanding!! Holiday was too short.
- Lee (10/5): - The space and the facilities were absolutely flawless! Comfiest bed we've ever experienced, and the private terrace was serene. The location was also perfect, right in the middle of everything. Nothing - it was all perfect!
Recomendamos fortemente!

- Altaf (10/5): Perfect flat and a superb host - Absolutely LOVED the terrace. The bed is soooo soft and comfortable. The location is really nice to walk by anywhere and also close to the tram/metro stations.
The bathroom has a JAPANESE BIDET 🕺💯
The floors are accessible by the elevator.
Most importantly, a big shoutout to the AMAZING host Daan, he made everything perfect and he is such a friendly sweetheart <3 I didn't like that I couldn't STAY LONGER 😭
- Abdullah (10/5): - The stay was beyond excellent and Daan provided everything for us, it was a pleasant unforgettable experience and I’d love to do it again!
- Rodolfo (9/5): A comfortable, well-located apartment with a very kind and helpful host. - The location is superb—within walking distance of the Concertgebouw and the Van Gogh Museum. The apartment is spacious, with a lovely terrace at the front and a beautiful view at the back. Daan, our host, was exceptionally kind and always willing to help when needed. He also gave us great advice on getting around the city.
- Omer (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was comfortable and adjustable, the balcony was beautiful and spacious. The room itself was beautifully designed. The shower and toilet were convenient. Everything about the room made my parents happy and wanting to stay more.
- Ahmad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Branca (10/5): The best yet! Superb! - Terrace! A perk of its own! Hospitality! Location! Unforgettable memories! Nothing! All was perfect! Best place ever!
- Darleen (8/5): We enjoyed our holiday, thanks! - Everything was fine! The location was really good, it's not like in the middle of center but still close by and we really enjoyed it! The roof garden was our little highlight of the airbnb and because the sun was most of the time there, it was really nice to sitting outside! Also we had a little trip to the beach which was like an hour ago (absolutely fine), we loved that! And the system of the metro, train and bus (we didn't know about this before), it's so much more easy than in other countrys. Ofc that's not an issue of the airbnb but it kinda sucks that we couldn't cook by ourself but for a few days it's fine. The location has a lot of restaurants so you'll always find something to eat.
- Sawant (9/5): Very nice cosy room, nice amenities - Nice cosy room, nice terrace Need to clean the room after two days
- Lorelaisky (9/5): A comfy, well-located stay with great extras and a helpful host. - We had a lovely stay! The bed was extremely comfortable—one of those adjustable electric mattresses, which made it even more relaxing. The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks, and we were welcomed with chocolates and fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main museums in Amsterdam—we visited the Van Gogh Museum and it was super convenient. Although breakfast wasn’t included, our host was fantastic and gave us great recommendations for nearby spots. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing.
- Nil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Fantastic location, fantastic place... would recommend and stay again! - The property was immaculate, the host Daan was a super guy who looked after everything for me. Everything was thought of and its a real gem of a place. Would 100% recommend and re-visit! Nothing - everything was great.
- Hasan (10/5): I had an amazing experience at BB Museumquarter. The atmosphere was welcoming, Daan was incredibly friendly. I can't - It was so clean and well organized There is nothing I didn’t like about the property
- Ozge (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very enough for everthing, the bad was really nice and comfortable. The terrace was perfect.
- Ali (10/5): Perfect studio in a perfect location - * Great Studio with a spacious balcony.
* Comfortable bed that can be controlled with a remote.
* Perfect toilet with an auto-water bidet (Japanese style)
* Nice functional kitchen with amenities (Tea, coffee and drinks)
* Complimentary fruits, chocolate, wine and fresh flowers.
* A private elevator takes you directedly to the studio.
* Perfect Location
* Daan was a very nice host, that provided anything you needed. Everything was great, no complains.
- Iulian (9/5): Perfect stay if you are in Amsterdam and don't want a classic hotel. - The host Daan is a great person, he offered us fresh fruits upon our arrival. He also brought us beautiful flowers which my wife liked a lot. Location is perfect, very close to city center. The terrace is amazing. Nothing
- Nakhi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Fantastic stay with friendly host and great amenities. -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (10/5): It became our home in Amsterdam. We hated to leave. - The property was spotless and we were extended wonderful hospitality which included fresh flowers, chocolates, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The outside deck was a wonderful bonus. Bed was extremely comfortable.
- Abdullah (8/5): Awesome - The balcony is amazing the room the comfortable and fully equipped, Daan is also so helpful and checking on us. The bed is good but it only can fit a couple so if friends are traveling is difficult to sleep on one bed.
- Guillaume (10/5): We highly recommend. - One of the best property we have been staying for vacations. A really lovely apartment opening on a great outdoor terrace full of greeneries and a view on the rooftops of Amsterdam. Bedding of excellent quality. Over calm. Really really pleasant stay. The owner, Daan, welcomed us with plenty of recommandations and nice small presents. I highly recommend. Perfect for a couple looking for a love nest. We loved everything.
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linsey-anne (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely sunny courtyard and most comfortable bed.
In a quiet street very close to the museums and nice restaurants
- Linda (10/5): A well equipped oasis of calm - This became our home away from home whilst visiting Amsterdam. It was extremely well equipped, including a tea pot, toiletries, tissues, cotton wool pads and an emergency toothbrush/paste pack, to mention but a few. We had been provided with a great welcome pack that included a bowl of fresh fruit, wide selection of teas and coffees, cold drinks and chocolates! Away from the central hub it is very relaxing after sightseeing, but with a selection of Trams at the end of the road and the Metro a short walk away, it doesn't take long to get into the centre. We stayed 5 nights so we could explore further afield and this was ideal, especially the lovely terrace (great sunset watching spot). Daan was very welcoming when we arrived and was available if we needed him for any reason. The photographs on Booking.com reflect the room perfectly. Access to the room, which is on the 5th floor, is via a lift, so you have to be comfortable with using a lift.
- Martin (10/5): Convenient, bright, clean and great location! - Great studio in quiet near convenient museum district. Host Daan was very welcoming and generously provided coffee capsules ( enough fir these coffee drinkers fur entire stay!), wine, beer some nuts and fruit on arrival. Such a nice touch! Heat was a little tricky to figure out but Daan was available for all our questions. Exceptional host!
- Ascanio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna-kari (10/5): Beautiful studio with its own terrace, and a fantastic host -
- Elizabeth (9/5): We loved this property. - Really lovely space with lots of light. very comfortable. Great location. Great communication with owner.
- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warangkana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdulaziz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Betim (10/5): Perfect - Great appartment and nice terrasse! Excellent host!
- Kristi (10/5): Wonderful spacious place in a great location. - What a lovely place to stay! The large, cheerfully decorated room with bed, living area, and kitchen was light and airy with nice views of both the sunrise and sunset. The garden terrace was such a bonus and contributed to the feeling of openness. Daan, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. The room is in walking distance to both the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Amsterdam. Nothing.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Lovely stay in a quiet section of Amsterdam - Very comfortable room. Loved the terrace, though it could use a bit of work on the plants, decking power washed and more furniture. Appreciated all the coffee supplied along with fruit, nuts, shampoo, lotion, etc. More eating utensils would be good. Had to wash the 4 provided quite frequently.
- Tony (10/5): Great place to stay for multiple days or a week! Close to public transportation too! - Week 5 of a 7 week European Holiday was wonderful. We arrived to a most gracious host. He explained how the room worked and had fresh flowers and goodies for us! So not expected but very appreciated! Our host went above and beyond with other information as well. Thank you Daan!
- Angela (10/5): Perfect stay. - Loved everything about this place, Dann is a fantastic host. We felt very looked after by Dann. The bed is very comfortable, we loved the location, a little away from the busy city, but close enough to get to everything. Will be our go to when in Amsterdam. The outdoor space was also a great addition to the appartment. Nothing.
- Sophiamay (10/5): Would definitely stay again if we were visiting the city! Thank you! - Dan was a great host and welcomed us to the property on our arrival. He gave us a little run down of the property and some advice on places to go. There's a lift which takes you from the ground floor straight up into the flat (personal key) which is excellent when travelling with Suitcases. Property was clean and inviting with everything you need (except a cooker if you're planning on cooking, but we weren't). Nice neighbourhood and good transport links. Everything was great.
- Carla (10/5): A peaceful retreat! - The terrace was perfect and the bed was sumptuous. It was very well kitted out with stylish decor and thoughtful extras. Would love to come back. Leaving it!!!!
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Harman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (10/5): A beautiful apartment in the cultural heart of Amsterdam. - A beautiful apartment with a spacious rooftop terrace set in a leafy residential area, perfect for visiting the museums and galleries close by.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- Marilyn (7/5): Nice room, but not what was promised - The room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a pleasant terrace. We wanted to be near the museums and the location, in a residential neighborhood, was convenient. There was an elevator to the room on the top floor. Everything but the nice room was a disappointment, when a great deal had been promised. It is called a Bed and Breakfast, but there was no breakfast, just a bowl of fruit and a few drinks. There was a kitchen but no facilities for cooking or even heating anything up - the owner told us (rather than asked) that we wouldn't be cooking so wouldn't need a cooktop, and with a wave said there was a microwave - the day we were leaving we found it in a low drawer, waiting for someone to set it up. The house was in the midst of a fairly major construction project so we were greeted by dust and construction materials. It didn't affect our entry, but it certainly was not what we expected from the reviews and the price. We felt strongly that we should have been told about the construction, and that the place had not been readied for visitors. We should certainly have been given a substantial discount. It comes very close to feeling like a scam.
- Catherine (10/5): Lovely studio apartment in a quiet convenient location - The studio apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet. An elevator made the top floor location easy to access. The location was handy for sightseeing yet out of the crowded center. The bonus was a delicious neighborhood patisserie nearby, as well as grocery stores. The host was very helpful and made sure we got to the airport on time when we had a taxi problem. A gem! All good.
- Valentin (10/5): Awesome location, friendly host, excellent room. - The attention to detail at this property exceeded our expectations. The location was great, the check-in was easy and fast, the owner's hospitality was unmatched, and the room was made with love. The balcony has a really good vibe; the kitchen is well-equipped, everything is extremely clean, and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed we tried in years. Definitely well worth the price; we would book again without a doubt. Thank you for the experience! After trying the bed and seeing its comfort, we want to buy one for ourselves. Unexpected expense! :D
- Allen (10/5): Comfortable, excellent location for museums and there are numerous excellent and reasonably $ restaurants nearby - Everything! an extremely comfortable room. The bed is excellent and the patio is a real bonus. Lots of light. having a private elevator directly to the room was a real bonus with bags. Leaving. We’re in our supposed 4-5 star hotel in London and it doesn’t hold a candle to BB.
- Jennifer (10/5): Very good location, safe neighborhood, good connections to tram and metro. Wonderful loft, nightly sunsets, lots of lig - 5th floor with a view and elevator. excellent bed, very comfortable, good quality linens. Loved everything. Nothing.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent very close to museum Quarter and could easily reach city centre via bus or tram.
The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was well equipped.
The host Anke was very friendly and helpful.
We arrived late and there was water, wine and soft drinks in the fridge along with some peanuts which a lovely touch and made us feel at home right away.
There was also a list of restaurants and things to do in the area which was super helpful.
The host provided us with cards for the public transport system which saved us a lot of time and money.
Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacob (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Wonderful space. Great views over Amsterdam, and excellent location for major Art museums. - Great views over Amsterdam, and excellent location for major Art museums. Nothing. This rooftop space is lovely.
- Donal (8/5): Very good -
- Zainab (10/5): comfortable, felt like home - everything about this property is amazing, the location, the facilities, definitely will book again the wifi
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Daan is a super host, he met us at the entrance and helped us up to our room, which you get directly from the elevator, it's very convenient. The room met all our expectations a huge balcony with a beautiful view from which we watched new year's eve fireworks. In the fridge, we were greeted with light drinks and champagned. Daan gave us the new year gift of local donuts which were very tasty. Many thanks to him for this great accommodation and stay. Nothing
- Umut (8/5): Very good - Our host Daan was a very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. A beautiful balcony. Very quiet place.
- Christophe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scottie (9/5): Space, a view and electric stuff - Great location, plenty of space and well-appointed. Never stayed in a room with both an electrically adjustable bed and a Japanese-styke electric toilet before. Wine, beer and a nice selection of tea and coffee. Some great books as well - use the walking guides. Good views from the balcony as well. Daan was an accommodating host. Note that this is not strictly a 'B&B' - there's no breakfast, but good options are nearby. Apart from being a B&B that doesn't have breakfast, no major issues. A pleasure to meet Daan and enjoy his lovely apartment.
- Stephen (10/5): This property is perfect for a couple…a rare find indeed! BB Museum Quarter is the apartment to book :) - The view from the top floor apartment with the large rooftop patio was amazing. The adjustable king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The direct to top unit elevator was very convenient…no Amsterdamn steep stairs! The kitchen was a good size and I did manage to cook while visiting. Daan, the owner, was very helpful in making suggestions of things to do. Also, I arrived to a loving decorated apartment with a couple of bouquets of fresh cut flowers, artisan chocolates, and refrigerator stocked with water, Fanta, beer, and wine. What a treat! There is free Wifi and a TV as well.
- Mansour (10/5): The best place to be in Amsterdam - First I want to thanks Mr. Daan Ruys for his hospitality and warm welcoming in his magnificent apartment.
I've been in Amsterdam city center many times, you will never find an elevator + spacious outdoor area + fancy amenities + full equipped apartment like this!
the location of the apartment is the best in Amsterdam without any doubt.
The neighborhood is very quite, classy, and far away from hassle and bustle of the city center. In, the same time, you are not far away from it!
Once you arrive, you will find a nice touches from the host such as (fruit, drinks, candy, water, juice...etc.)
But the most amazing thing that provided for me are two big favors and he know about them.
Thank you very much Mr. Daan Ruys and see you in the next trip to Amsterdam! Wish I could live there
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, very friendly owners. The bed was very comfortable.
- Joan (9/5): We had a super stay and we look forward to a repeat in the future. Thanks so much Daan. - The location was very good, easy walking distance to several good restaurants and close to the tram network.
Lovely roof terrace and a quiet neighbourhood.
- Ron (10/5): Good Find! - Daan our host was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was charming. Loved having a kitchen and having the patio/balcony. The location was ideal for our visit intended to go to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum nearby. It is actually better to stay a bit farther away from the really crowded sections of the city. Within striking distance, convenient enough without the hassles. Near the neighborhood De Pijp - hip and happening, lots of young people and good restaurants. I would go back next time we are in Amsterdam. No complaints at all!
