• Juan (10/5): Clean and comfortable - The host is very hospitable. He really takes care of his guests and the home is very warm and inviting. Even though it’s in a busy part of town, the windows block all the noise and one can sleep sound.

Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about both his B&B and his city, he immediately created the feeling that we were not just guests, but visitors being thoughtfully introduced to the real Naples. He encouraged us to explore the beautiful sights, hidden corners, cafés, churches, and local spots right on the doorstep, and many of his recommendations ended up becoming some of our favourite moments of the trip. The accommodation itself was impeccable. The rooms were immaculate, spotless, beautifully maintained, and comfortable. The location was perfect for experiencing authentic Naples, allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in the atmosphere, history, and character of the neighbourhood. • Gertrud (10/5): Beste Lage in Neapel bei wunderbarem Gastgeber - Die Unterkunft liegt in bester Lage im Herzen Neapels, im historischen Zentrum. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen, auch das Angebot an Gastronomie ist super. Gaetano ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und liebenswürdig, und er schafft seinen Gästen in seinem B&B eine ruhige und saubere Oase mitten im Trubel. Danke dafür!

We wszystkie ważne miejsca można było dojść spacerem. Skromne ale świeże śniadania byly miłym dodatkiem. Na duzy plus ciągły dostęp do kawy, herbaty, ciasteczek. Bardzo miły i nie narzucający się właściciel. Nie mam takich rzeczy.
• Stine (9/5): Vi følte os meget velkomne og boede godt. - Værten var utrolig hjælpsom og venlig og vi følte os meget velkomne. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Værelset var stort og pænt og havde rigtig god udsigt over den historiske bydel. Selvom at der er meget støj nede på gaden er der helt stille på værelset når altandøren er lukket. Hotellet ligger på 4. Sal og der er elevator.

De host was heeeeel vriendelijk, maar begreep spijtig genoeg weinig engels het hele gebouw was onder constructie voor renovatie. Bij aankomst kwam je binnen langs een oude poort en langs een werklift moest je naar boven. Dit was niet vermeld in de advertentie. Indien dit op voorhand zou vermeld zijn, waren we verwittigd, nu waren we echt geschrokken hiervan.

• Yuri (9/5): - Gaetano was very friendly and considerate - provided great options for our request for a vegan breakfast. The location is amazing, right in the center of all the action, but pretty quiet. The place was sparkling clean. There were some renovations with scaffolding inside the building, which made it feel a bit "off" when first coming in. But there was no noise from work or any particular issues from it. This is definitely something out of the control of the owner and it caused no significant issues with our stay.

• Szilvia (10/5): Sightseeing with Family - This apartment is in the heart of the historical center full of restaurants and shops. Despite the fact it is calm at night. The terrace on the roof is the most beautiful place to have breakfast or have a drink in the evening. The view is beautiful, the room is very clean, the cleaning ladies come every day and keep the room tidy. The breakfast is super and delicious, enough for the whole stay. The owner and the contact person are both super friendly and helpful. We received recommendations for the best restaurants and bars around the area. We would definitely recommend and come back anytime. Really nice place, thank you Geatano and Gianmarco! -

Despite the busy area, inside it is quiet and peaceful, the terrace looks down on the city street with a great view. Great places to eat right outside. There are some building works in the stairwell, but it didn’t affect us inside at all.

The room was cleaned every day, which is exceptional service, and a continental breakfast provided, which meant I could start exploring Naples bright and early. The bed was comfy and the bathroom excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better home-away-from-home amidst the craziness (crazy good!) of the historic centre of Naples. Thanks, Gaetano! There is a bar downstairs that's a bit noisy until 11, but if you want to be in the historic heart of Naples, don't expect the silence of the suburbs. It wasn't a big issue for me.
• Gerard (6/5): Naples is not for me. - The interior of the rooms were lovely, with many conveniences, including multiple plugs for pads, etc. I do not like the breakfast service in the room. The table, food, and appliances take up too much precious room. I would much rather have a separate breakfast room. The property, unfortunately, is smack in the middle of the old district. I knew this going in, but I didn’t anticipate the smothering crowds, filthy streets, hawkers all around, and, sadly to say, very rude people outside. The other problem is the fact that the facility is over a very popular restaurant which plays booming music until 10 pm. These issues, of course, are not under the control of the owner, but undoubtedly affect his clients adversely.

Super comfortable, beautiful setting, amazing host, and the location that really can't be better than this. The pictures doesn't do the justice, it's actually better in real. • Helen (10/5): Perfect location, impeccable room with brilliant views, incredible historic neighbourhood - The perfect, perfect location in Naples. The room had 2 balconies with exceptional views of the church, squares, streets & the local god 'Maradona' lit up in the distance. Incredible street life and ambience and adjacent to the Underground archeological wonders of Naples! I arrived earlier than check-in and was greeted by the building porter with assistance to the lift, and Gaetano the superb host with superior attention to every detail! Walking in the neighbourhood is a feast for the senses. If you can travel light the walk down the cobblestone streets is between 100 and 600m depending on your taxi drop off location. Taxi's can't enter the area after a certain time- I'm guessing about 9-9.30am. Napoli taxi drivers are not the most helpful and will attempt to take advantage of you at every opportunity. Try free now and other apps for car/taxi services.
• Nicholas (10/5): A perfect oasis of calm - I Dioscuri is an amazing oasis of calm, amidst the liveliness of Via Dei Tribunali. It is perfectly central to most of the great attractions Napoli has to offer. Gaetano, the host, is an incredibly friendly and considerate host. The property is really well kept, clean, quiet (which is amazing when you consider where it’s situated, you’ll definitely get a great nights sleep), comfortable beds, air conditioned, impeccable bathroom, tasty breakfast, views to die for from the balconies in the room, all that plus a stunning roof terrace. It was our first visit to Napoli, it won’t be our last and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else as Gaetano has created something very special with I Dioscuri.

• Rossana (9/5): Exactly as listed, centrally located, well-priced and the perfect spot for you 1st visit to Naples. - This B&B was EXACTLY as advertised. It was very centrally located right in the middle of the Centro Storico with numerous sites within a few minutes walk. The room was very quiet considering it was in the middle of a loud and noisy neighborhood. The B&B is located on the top floor of a 4 story building (ground floor = 0) and there was an elevator. The owner/host, Gaetano, lives in the B&B apartment. The 2 B&B rooms were their own suites (locked door, private full bathroom inside the room, mini fridge, table/chairs, flatware/cutlery, glasses, coffee maker, panini press, pre-packaged foods for breakfast (cheese and meats; yogurts; juice boxes; soda; water; sliced bread; jams and Nutella packets; packaged breakfast sweets). The room was cleaned every day; towels replaced regularly; was even provided a laundry line and clothes pins when I hung my laundered clothes out on the little terrace without asking (very thoughtful). The room has a good A/C unit inside, a flat screen TV, plenty of closet/storage space, lots of power outlets and good sized windows that opened in the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom was very spacious and had multiple towel racks and shelving to put your stuff. It also had a shower stall (typical European style) with shower hose. The owner, Gaetano, was very nice and friendly. He doesn't speak much English, but between writing messages on Booking.com and Google Translate, you can manage fine. All the information relevant to the room and the stay is printed in English inside the room. The breakfast included in the price is not worth whatever added cost is included, but in a city like Naples, venturing out for breakfast is the way to go, anyway. Still, the breakfast was exactly as advertised and as pictured in the listing. What you see is what you get. All pre-packaged foods were replaced daily, as consumed. The twin beds were on the small side, but were comfortable enough.
• John (9/5): Enjoyable central Naples residence - The location is perfect - right above the main pedestrian street Via dei Tribunali, no more than a short walk from many attractions, restaurants, and bars. The high location in the building (there is a lift!) and excellent soundproofing means that there is no problem with noise. The room is serviced daily, and very clean. Breakfast for the next day is provided at the same time as the room service, with fresh things in the fridge. There's a kettle, coffee maker, and separate kettle, with tea and coffee pods provided. The host is helpful and accommodating, and also gave us recommendations - good information is printed in the room too. Instructions for a late arrival were clear - the entry is between the Decumani pizzeria and the Napoli Souterranea attraction. There's a big wardrobe, and bedsides tables with USB charging sockets. The fact that the room decor was in the same colours as those of the sports team my wife supports was a bonus Nothing specifically with the property. The weather was disappointing so we never got a chance to use the lovely terrace. :-( Tip - it takes a while for hot water to reach the room, so run the shower stream down the toilet until the water warms up. Tip - if considering arriving by taxi, they can't/don't take you to the door, but instead will drop you by the Duomo where there is a rank, so there's a 200m walk or so. These don't detract from the property, which was a pleasure to stay in.

• Vera (10/5): Wonderful stay in a wonderful property. - Excellent property in an excellent location right in the heart of the historical centre and within walking distance of many sights. There are taxis 5 minutes walk away opposite the Duomo cathedral. The host, Gaetano was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us very clear printed instructions to the main attractions. We felt like we had the place to ourselves but he was always available when we needed him. There’s a beautiful terrace, a dining room and sitting room with lovely decor, interesting ornaments and pictures. A joy. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned each day. There were two balconies in each room Lovely bathrooms with very good showers. Bedroom 1 has a safety deposit box. Italian breakfast provided each day for preparation in your bedroom - cereal, milk, orange juice, yogurt, butter, jams, bread, croissant, cake, water and tea/coffee. There’s a fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave and toaster. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to others. We felt very safe. We looked forward to returning to the BnB each evening for a good night’s rest. Thank you very much Gaetano for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved everything.

Breakfast included, set up in your room and replenished everyday. Would highly recommend I DIOSCURI B&B and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Gaetano. It is located in the center and within a radius of 20 minutes there are all the most important cultural points, and on the other side also the bus, railway station, and hop-on bus stations. The owner is a warm host. I forgot the ring in the bedroom after check out, and arranged with him to send it back to my country. He was very attentive and we arranged it right away.

Full selection of breakfast provided in the room and restocked daily gave us lots of flexibility and made for a relaxing start to each day. The bedroom and bathroom were large, comfortable and clean. The windows blocked out a lot of noise from the street below (even through the celebrations for Naples winning the league). A late check in was no problem to arrange. A perfect stay.

• Manuel (5/5): The host was a nice person but there was a miscommunication and we did not solve the problem. I - Great breakfast. Cappuccino and a croissant and a yogurt. Not a bad place for one single person. Great place for people interested in Roman and Greek history. Very congested area with narrow roads and too many small shops. Great place for young and middle age people. We were two seniors with bad hips and a young 42 year adult who had to walk from four blocks away through cobbled unaligned streets in the middle of the night with all our luggage. I didn’t like that I had to share a room that was designed for one person with two other adults on my party. I left the next day. I had to book for another place 50 miles away and was so inconvenienced with cutting my visit to the City of Napoli. I expect a full return for all my expenses from booking.com as I had made a change for my initial booking and it is the first time they dropped the ball. I have more trips left and I have continued to book with them on the hope that they will make this mishap right. Booking.com is a great app but needs to be more reactive to messages. This whole episode could have been averted. Host kept insisting he did not get my messages.
