• Manolis (9/5): - Very convenient flat and super bright flat. Easy to reach the city centre on foot or via tram. I'd highly recommend it. Trini was always available to help. The neighbourhood was very safe and had great shops/restaurants to offer! I'd like to go back The stairs are a bit of an issue (but this is what you get in ALL Amsterdam) so be prepared for VERY steep staircase (No lift). The second thing that could be improved was the mattress which was very soft and the host could consider upgrading.

Clean, great space in a fantastic location Trini was the perfect host, attentive but not intrusive. The hotplate/hob is hidden in a drawer - a sign saying where it was would have been great ;)
• Amy (9/5): Spacious, light, and comfortable apartment - It was really nice having more room since I was there for a longer time. The place is next to a canal, a short walk from the bus stop. Everything is comfortable and clean. Trini was kind by letting me drop off my luggage earlier than the check in time and also worked with me and Booking to adjust my leave date and refund me for the night I didn’t stay. The steep stairs, yet this is typical of Amsterdam and there is obviously nothing they can do about that. In fact, I was so very grateful that her husband carried my bag and backpack up and down the stairs.

Great little apartment with good access to all major tourist attractions. would highly recommend. nothing that can be fixed but the stairs were super steep up to the entryway. typical in amsterdam but mentioning it for anyone that has mobility issues. otherwise perfect.
• Sarah (8/5): Beautiful and spacious! - Very spacious and comfortable. The location was great and the apartment was well stocked with supplies! The host also was good with communication. Confusing check in process with no clear instructions and was given the wrong phone number. Also would have appreciated if there could be more flexibility with form of payment for the deposit (like a check, hold on credit card, etc.) instead of euros. We were charged 40 euros at the ATM.

• Jacky (9/5): The perfect place for a visit to Amsterdam - Exactly as pictured, clean and well presented. Nice balcony overlooking the canal. Easy access to city centre and all attractions as tram stops 4 min walk away from apartment. Area pleasant with lots of bars, coffee shops and bakeries. Very quiet at night. Renters need to be aware that as this is a traditional (tall) canal house and therefore access to the apartment is by 2 flights of very steep stairs with narrow treads. ( a total of 32 steps) and therefore is not suitable for anyone with slight mobility issues. Carrying luggage up and down could also be an issue if you have more than hand luggage. The entrance hall/stair well was unkept with old post and lots of leaves I assume from Autumn when we stayed in the Spring. This made for a poor first impression which could be resolved in 10mins.
• Wendy (8/5): Quiet and comfortable stay just outside city center. - Nice, quiet location about 3-4 blocks from tram. Convenient to several cafes. Host does not speak English but communicates quickly via text. Plenty of space: large living room and bedroom. Good sized bath with small kitchen. Breakfast not included. Must climb two steep staircases. Would not recommend for disabled.
• Anthony (10/5): Great place for an extended stay - The location was perfect. The neighborhood has great convenience stores, cafes and restaurants and is perfectly situated for multiple tram lines. It's also an easy walk to many of the main tourist sites. The apartment provided the perfect amount of space for a long weekend. The views over the canal from the living room windows let you know at every minute where you were and the bedroom in the rear room was quiet and comfortable. The bedding and bathroom were both very comfortable. The proprietor couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It was a comfort to know that she was on site in case there was a problem.
• Steve (10/5): This was a week we’d love to repeat again and again! - We loved the location in a relatively quiet neighborhood (not overrun with tourists). It felt like we were living in Amsterdam for the week as we had a chance to experience the ordinary flow of life of the residents in the neighborhood Only negative is that it it quite difficult to haul heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs. Going down was not so bad however.
• Francisco (9/5): Great apartment in Amsterdam - The location was great, not too complicated to get to from both airport or city center. It has several buses and trams close by. Communication with owner was easy and fast, the apartment has all amenities necessary, room is quiet and comfortable. Not fault of the owner because all apartments in Amsterdam are like this, but be aware that there are extremely steep stairs which make it difficult if you have heavy luggage like I did. If someone sleeps on the sofa, there is a bar a few meters away from the window which can be a bit loud; but it is only an issue in summer as with windows closed, you do not hear anything.
• Shannon (9/5): Great option for your Amsterdam stay - Oud West is a lovely neighbourhood and the apartment is pretty well located with everything you need in the area - restaurants, transports and shops at your doorstep. The actual apartment was a very decent size which was what we needed for a 4 night stay. Heaps of towels provided, really comfortable bed and couch too. The bathroom was renovated and had really nice shower. It’s mentioned, but the stairs are really not super accessible especially if you have mobility issues or large suitcases so be mindful of this. It also got very hot at night and we’d have to have windows open on a few of the nights in order to sleep. Trini was away travelling but was very lovely and said she would have brought a fan if she was there. The thermostat is in locked box which was a little off putting at first but I think this is because it might just be heater not cooling. The windows open did cool the place down though!

Always super clean, having all amenities and things you need for your stay. The view is amazing, we couldn’t get enough of it. The host is very attentive and helpful, making us feeling welcomed once more!

• Peter (10/5): We had a great time in Amsterdam. Trini is an excellent host. Would not hesitate staying on our next visit. - Great location. Close to transport, restaurants, shops, etc. Museum area is only a 15-20 walk down the road. Trini’s apartment is far enough away from the noisy parts of the city and close enough to access the main areas and attractions within a 15 min tram ride or 20-30 minute walk. The canal at the front of the property adds to the Amsterdam feel and experience. Excellent kitchen and living room facilities. Clean and well laid out. Nothing

• Caitie (8/5): Beautiful stay, great location and great host. - Beautiful location, just out of the busy city centre but close enough that we could walk everywhere. Right on the Canal, and a great bar/restaurant just on the corner, and cafes across the bridge. The apartment is a great size, great facilities and very clean. The host was helpful and available if required via WhatsApp. There is a balcony that we weren’t able to access due to a prior guest damaging the door, it would have been so beautiful to be out on the balcony at night. It did get a bit warm in the rooms so we slept with the windows open, this was mainly due to having warm days while we were there I think
• Gagan (9/5): Bright and spacious apartment in a great location. - Great apartment with canal view. Good location, walking distance from most attractions. Spacious and bright.
• Raquel (9/5): Superb - The apartment was very well situated with supermarkets and lots of cafes and bars close by. The location was within 15 - 30 minutes walk to the Museumplein, Vondelpark, Rembrandtplein, Amsterdam Central and Jordaan. All areas were close enough to get to but far enough that you don’t feel you are on top of the touristy areas which was nice at the end of each day! We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. However, if one preferred, trams and bus services were easily accessible from the apartment as well. We would stay in this apartment again. Please note checking in after 7 pm will incur a fee. We were made aware of a late check-in fee of 35€ the day we were arriving. Unfortunately, with delayed flight and traffic from Schiphol Airport, we arrived at the apartment at 7.09 pm and had to pay 35€ cash.
• Lynda (10/5): Comfortable, convenient place to stay and I'd book again and would recommend without hesitation. - The apartment was in a great location close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Close enough to the city centre to be able to walk to all main attactions but far enough out to be out of the real noisy touristy area. The apartment was very comfortable and easy to get to on the tram when first arriving with suitcases. The host was also very nice. Wasn't anything I didn't like about the apartment.

• Wendy (9/5): We had a comfortable stay in Trini’s spacious, sunny apartment with nice views of the canal. - We enjoyed our 2 week stay in Trini’s apartment. The place has a separate bedroom with built in wardrobes and an open lounge room and dining area. The kitchen is quite small and has 2 hot plates, a microwave oven, toaster and kettle. We were able to prepare simple meals. 2 things to be aware of. There are several saucepans with no fitting lids; we were able to manage without. Also the dishwasher wasn’t working but dishwashing equipment is provided so we managed without. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished, clean and equipped with most things you need. A highlight is the natural light; large windows and doors open onto the small south-facing balcony with views over the canal. The apartment has access to sun for most of the day. There are windows in the bedroom and bathroom too. The location is very good; the number 17 tram which goes to Central Station is within easy walking distance. Climbing the 2 steep flights of stairs was no problem. We were very comfortable and highly recommend the apartment. Trini answers emails promptly. It would have been even better if we could have used the dishwasher but we were fine without it.
• Duncan (8/5): Lovely comfortable stay giving a perfect base for all sights plus lovely gift of wine from Trini. - canal side location can walk to centre tram stops very close very well furnished and equipped for self catering warm and cosy friendly reliable and helpful owner Trini cafe next door traditional Amsterdam townhouse apartment no working extractor fans in bathroom and kitchen. had to open bathroom window when showering could be cold in winter can’t fault it otherwise very steep narrow 2 flights of stairs to access to flat would be a problem for elderly or those with mobility issues. however this is obvious when booking and I expected in Amsterdam. the high canal view is worth the climb
