He showed us where everything was kept and made sure we were connected to the wifi before leaving. He also offered great advice about places to eat etc. The location is excellent too! Bed was comfy, shower hot, WiFi free, clean and towels provided. Pepe is a lively host. Would highly recommend Can be a bit noisy when the club is open, round the corner

• Umanee (8/5): Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The unit is in a great location with easy access to main roads - The location of the unit was great, with easy access to the main roads. The host was very welcoming and met us on arrival, offering helpful tips about the area and even a discount for bike rental. Overall, the unit was great and we had a very pleasant stay. One thing to note is that the extractor in the shower was not working, so be aware if you take long, hot showers. Also, cooking is not allowed in the unit.

• Julio (10/5): Todo un acierto. - si quieres estar en el centro es perfecto, al lado de amsterdam centraal y a 5 min de la plaza dam, en una calle super tranquila. El estudio muy acogedor y con todo lo necesario. Además Pepe fué un magnifico anfitrión, que nos dió muy buenas recomendaciones y sugerencias. Recomendable sin duda alguna!! no le encuentro ningun aspecto negativo

• Debbie (10/5): Great location - Great location, Pepe was so helpful and welcoming. Such a pleasure to meet him. Everything you could need in the studio. Bed was remarkably comfortable. Just off the beaten track so misses most of the foot traffic. Great little place. Stairs a little hairy after a second rose. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper, there is some passing footflow and it can get a little loud when they leave the local bars but overall not too bad. Certainly wouldn't put me off though.

Ha estado todo el tiempo a nuestra disposición, pendiente de nuestra estancia, preocupado porque nuestro viaje fuera inolvidable. Nos facilitó información imprescindible, recomendaciones, folletos, mapas...Se encargó de guardarnos el equipaje hasta que nos fuimos al aeropuerto sin importarle la hora que dijimos. No se le puede poner ni una sola pega a Pepe Ferrer. Su actitud y empatía ha sido única y extraordinaria. La escalera tan empinada y sin barandilla para subir al altillo.

• Mariana (10/5): Wonderful stay, felt like home thanks to Pepe - Huge thanks to our host, Pepe, who waited for us despite our late arrival due to a long queue at Passport Control. He was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to answer questions and gave us great tips on where to eat pizza or gelato. I truly enjoyed chatting with him each day about our plans. We’ve never met a more welcoming host. Thanks to him, our stay in Amsterdam felt just like home. Staying in a traditional narrow Dutch house was a dream come true! The apartment is small but very cozy and clean, has everything you need: microwave, coffee machine, kettle, iron, hairdryer. We stayed for a week, me and my two adult daughters and felt completely comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Amsterdam. We didn’t experience any noise issues; just a few random evening shouts, which we found more funny and entertaining than disturbing. It was an unforgettable trip, and we’d love to come back to this apartment again. Highly recommended and many thanks again to Pepe! Nothing

The studio is a bit small, but it is fine for 3 adults. It is exactly as the description 5' walking from the central station. A bit noisy at night but not a big problem. After all this Amsterdam!!! • Smith (10/5): Fantastic apartment and host. - Loved this property and it was central to everything, a few minutes from Central Station and Dam Square. Plenty of pubs, cafes, coffee shops, supermarkets and clothing stores all on your doorstep. Could not ask for a better location. Pepe was a great host, he met us at the apartment as arranged, gave us some great recommendations on restaurants, museums etc and was right next door if we needed anything. I have stayed in some of the highest rated hotels in Amsterdam but would return to this apartment again and again.

• Hugo (6/5): It's ok, but they must fix the Wi-Fi - I stayed at this apartment and for me the location is really the best. Located in the city center, near the shops. I also like the system they have to enter the appartement with a remote key. The bad points that I would like to mention that should be improved is the Wi-Fi, it doesn't work well, and I tried with my mobile and computer. Even when I'm trying to use my 4g or 5g, inside the appartement for some reason blocks the usage which is very annoying, especially when you need to work. The shower pressure is low, and to access the bedroom you need to use the stairs, so it may be an issue for some people. If you are too tall be careful with your head. It can be very noisy the street where the appartement is, but Amsterdam is a vibrant place too.

• Holdsworth (9/5): Fab little studio flat slap bang in the centre of Amsterdam - Very central location, nice little studio flat brightly decorated and quiet. The fan was a godsend, we visited during a heatwave. Pepe is very nice and extremely helpful. I needed a firmer bed than the downstairs sofa bed but the kids were very happy in the single beds on the mezzanine.
• Zeenat (9/5): Very practical, location is spot on and the host is the sweetest! - The location of this place is bang on - everything is walking distance from here. The host was exceptionally good, very understanding and helpful! It's a small space but was perfect for us - three friends. It had all the amenities one could expect - a tiny functional kitchen, a cute attic bed + a couch that turns into another bed + space for luggage + fridge. As I mentioned a very functional and practical space, the only element missing would be decor but I mean one can live without it during a short stay :)

• Hannah (10/5): Perfect little house. - Pepè was an exceptional host, we were able to discuss our arrival time with him and he made sure he was there to greet us. He offered some great recommendations for bike hire and some beautiful spots to visit. The accommodation is very close to the centre with only a short walk into the busier areas of the red light district in one direction and the beautiful Jordaan neighbourhood in the other direction. We were given 2 lots of keys so we were able to split the group if needed. The apartment was perfect for myself and my 2 sisters with plenty of space, coffee machine, fridge etc we will definitely be returning to Pepè's place in the future and telling everyone we can about our experience. It truly did make our experience of Amsterdam better 😊 Being so close to the busier areas can make for a little noise of an evening if you are like us and in bed before 12 but we expected this with the main stretch being so close and we're not a group that would be out after midnight.

• Patrick (2/5): I just waisted my money by booking and paying three full nights for that property. - Not applicable. I did not like anything about the property. This property is far from how it was described on Booking.com. It is just a spare room in the loft of an apartment building. There was no signpost or any inscription on the property to indicate the so-called studio. I had to make a call to the number indicated on my booking for the guy to come and fetch me. Another strange thing is the fact that you will have to use a ladder to get to the loft where the two single beds are located. The convenience is downstairs and you will also have to climb/decend that dangerous latter each time you need to pick something in your luggage. The noise from the adjoining room was unbearable and the environment was filthy. I did not even spend a night in that room. I had to look for an alternative accommodation and forfeited the money for the three nights I paid.

Amsterdam is expensive and this was a good value option. Very minor things- It was a little dark due to the design and layout so needed lights on all the time. The ladder to the beds was steep, not a problem for us but would not suit less mobile people.

His care and kindness for people renting his apartment are exceptional. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the train station and therefore super convenient for travelers. The apartment is a duplex. I liked having the bedroom on a higher level, however, if someone cannot climb the stairs that will pose a problem. There is a sofa downstairs on the ground floor, so that helps.

• Ryan (1/5): Dangerous total illegal - The location is near everything The property is not fit for purpose. The bed room is totally illegal build and very dangerous. The ladder to the bedroom is so dangerously you could fall so easy and get up in a very bad situation. There is no parking as stated by booking.com. and taxis can't find the address..you need to walk as Cars can't get into the road around the apartment.

• Giacomo (9/5): Superb - The apartment is small but it has everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The best thing is the position, it's in the middle between Centraal Station and Dam square, it's great. The city is full of fast foods and it's very expensive so sometimes it'd be good to cook something healthy at home but here it's not possible.
