• Cheryl (10/5): A quick getaway in amsterdam - The apartment was really well set up and comfortable . The weather was not great but was very cozy in the aoartment Lol the stairs . But you are warned, so keep that in mind . I managed them and I am afraid of heights but they will be a problem I think for children and if you are not fit or with a lot of bagage

Bellissima terrazza dove batte il sole, ideale per rilassarsi e fare aperitivo. • Dan Brillitos (10/5): Excelente estadía en Wild Roses. - Estaba bastante accesible, un barrio tranquilo, silencioso. Las duchas, lo mejor de la estadía! Siempre agua calentita para sacarte el frío de Ámsterdam. Anne siempre estuvo atenta, el check-in y el check out, ambos, súper fáciles y rápidos. Es un alojamiento con una estética muy particular. Nos encantó, volveríamos sobretodo por el precio, Ámsterdam es MUY CARA! Solo sugeriría agregar un microondas, es lo único que me faltó para que sea perfecto, pero es una sugerencia para sumar.

• Nick (8/5): My partner and I had a very pleasant stay at Wild Roses. - The apartment is spacious for couples, with a nice balcony/deck, tea & coffee facilities, a nice assortment of refreshments and pleasant welcoming gifts. Communication with the owner Anne is friendly and smooth, and the apartment is in a quiet suburb close to public transport. The apartment is furnished delicately, and has a very warm, homely feel. It has a nice outlook over the adjoining buildings and skyline, and there was no noise from neighbours. Our stay was very comfortable and the apartment was clean on arrival, although at times we noticed some of the furniture got a little musty. Not a fault of the owner - more likely the constant rain and drizzle not allowing us to air out the apartment sufficiently.

Plenty of restaurants nearby. Anna was very good keeping in touch with us with "whats app" re arrival times etc. and was very helpful. Would have loved better weather to have been able to enjoy the lovely terrace. Loved the quaintness of the room.

• Dougie (7/5): Value for money accomodation in Amsterdam - Close to my Uncle. Good public transport close by. Anne is very helpful. It’s a little cramped. No kitchen. 3 flights steep stairs, which you are given fair warning about.

Anne was lovely and very helpful, really accommodating and made a lot of effort to support us during our stay. The apartment was cosy and the balcony area was a nice spot to relax on after a long day of exploring the city. Would happily stay again.
• Vivien (8/5): Nice individual apartment in a lovely area of Amsterdam - Nice appartement and a very nice host with a good location in Amsterdam. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to use the beautiful terrasse. The steep stairs are typical for Amsterdam and were no problem for us, but if you are handicapped or have a lot of luggage this might be a challenge. Bed/ mattress were way too soft for us but this is a very personal taste

• Julie-ann (8/5): This was a lovely and unique little stay in Amsterdam. If you can manage the stairs I would recommend. - This was a unique property. I loved all the little touches Anne had included Unfortunately they were renovating the roofs in the area so we didn’t get the be fit of the roof terrace, but Anne kindly got the workers to move some material so we could at least get out there. The steps were a challenge, but we were duly warned about that
• Claire (9/5): Perfect cosy, quaint accommodation - Anne welcomed us to her B&B and shown us around - great hospitality. Free coffee and tea available, amoungest other things. Other drinks available for only a small charge - did say we were able to add own stuff to fridge. A lovely, quaint environment. Nicely decorated and clean. It was easy to get transport to Central Amsterdam, including easy routes back during the night. Shower pressure was good and, shower head able to be released off the stand. - hairdryer was reasonable too. Not like big chain hairdryers that take a long time to dry thick, long hair. Big comfortable, memory foam mattress with thick duvet. Large windows, with blackout curtains, and access to roof top, which I'm sure would be lovely during the warmer months. Easy enough to check out, and good communication with Anne. Would of preferred firmer pillows, but that is my preference. Missing an iron, but there is places to hang clothing out to get rid of creases. Possible a little hair freshener in bathroom.

Anne was a kind host, treating us very well despite the fact that we were only in town for a couple of days. She was very communicative and accommodating. The room has gorgeous light and was very comfortable. Couldn't imagine anything that could improve the experience!

We could tell that the accommodation is maintained with a lot of effort and attention to detail. It was a unique place to stay for sure. It's an authentic amsterdam house with a narrow staircase, but that's to be expected :)
