Guest Reviews
- Janne (9/5): Great stay - something special! -
- Vicky (8/5): Great space, definitely needed the bikes get around. 30 minutes in to the centre. to - Quirky, good location free bikes no shops, bars restaurants close by. Be aware if you arrive late at night.
- Alžbeta (9/5): - Great location even its a bit far from centre. We loved bicycles and it was a great Amsterdam experience as well. We had a small problem with heating and owners solved it quit quick co we could enjoyed our stay fully. The only thing which could improve the whole vibe would be cleaner windows to enjoy beautiful view from apartment.
- Cyramons (9/5): -
- Filip (9/5): Overall it is a nice property - Good and quiet location, the wifi is good, the bike is not the fastest but it is reliable and will get you to where you need to go. Sadly there is no AC so it is a little hot
- Ute (8/5): -
- Francesca (10/5): - La casa è molto carina, pulita e calda dista quasi un km dalla metro ma sono a disposizione due biciclette per noi è stata una buona scelta
- Stu (9/5): -
- Richard (10/5): -
- corrina (10/5): - Lovely quirky space with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Great detailed information from the host about how to find the property which was really helpful.
Easy to get into central Amsterdam via the tram and metro.
Lots to explore in the local area too, bikes were available to use but we chose to walk. Loved it 🥰
- Coolen (9/5): - Bijzondere overnachtingsplek, heel schoon en netjes.
Lekker bed en fijn beddengoed.
Thee, koffie is inclusief.
2 fietsen zijn gratis te gebruiken. Jammer dat er een hekje mist op het terrasje.
Meubilair op het terrasje is niet comfortabel.
Zadels van de fietsen kunnen comfortabeler.

- Steven (9/5): A wonderful spot on the water, quiet, but close to city, with wonderful amenities. - Nice spot on the water, well behaved waterfowl, super comfy bed and perfect, tiny kitchen. The free, loaner bikes were fabulous; an easy ride into and out of town, close to good restaurants and lovely Vondelpark! Bit stuffy, no cross breeze unless door propped open.
- Ido Shmuel (10/5):
- Lucy (9/5): Perfect studio accommodation that being on a houseboat gives a real taste of Amsterdam - Great studio accommodation on houseboat. The bed was superbly comfortable and the shower was wonderful. The kitchenette is great with kettle, coffee maker, fridge etc. Perfect for a solo traveler and for a short stay. Communication with the owners was excellent. I loved it here. It’s convenient for public transport to the centre of Amsterdam and all the key tourist attractions. The only cups/mugs are for espresso! Very small. I would have liked a mug for my tea!
- Ivana (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing atmosphere - ducks swimmimg around when I had breskfast on the terrace!
- Precious (8/5): Very good -
- Klaus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beth (10/5): Lovely place - Private space and lovely area of wanting more chilled vibe
- Tamar (10/5): Wonderful experience! - Beautifully set up with everything you need. Loved having a bicycle.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (7/5): A quirky enjoyable stay, in the suburbs. - Quirky, comfortable bed, pushbikes, quiet. Pillows, only microwave cooking available, distance from shops and transport
- Peter (8/5): Nice room in a good location - Very quiet and very nice room. Good location near the metro and the Airport Express bus. Bikes available.
- Rachel (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - Very cozy and nice boathouse. Equipped well for living, and Ms. Kyung is very kind. Definitely recommend for visitors to Amsterdam.
- Verena (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): A marvellous resttful housebost in a quiet location. - Friendly & heloful check in. Superbly comfortable with kitchenette & terrace. Bikes are a real bonus to get around but the nearest tram stop is only 10 mins walk away with great transport links.
I love staying here, so restful. There isnothing to complain about.
- Darren (10/5): Perfect getaway break - The distance from centre was enough to get an authentic Amsterdam experience, perfect setting on the water, also very clean and modern
- Koen (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (10/5): Unforgettable & Lovely 🥰 - Absolutely perfect, the place has everything we needed. The place looks exactly as the pictures. Extremely clean, tidy and very well prepared by the host! The water heater is really hot as well.
It is very near to city centre as well, the host even provided bicycles for us to use which we really appreciate it as we get to cycle around.
We love the place and would recommend it. It feels homey and we even had ducklings appearing outside the windows in the morning.
Thank you host for making the stay so pleasant for us, it’s definitely the highlight of our visit in Amsterdam Nothing at all. Book the stay with them:)
- Sabine (3/5): Poor - The room had green and black mould everywhere. A cheek for the price charged. Curtains and window frames were heavily infested with mould. The room smelled of a mixture of chlorine (which was probably applied quickly because of mould in the bathroom) and damp mould. The bed linen was not really clean and there was strange hair in the bathroom. Really not recommendable.
- Anthony (10/5): Authentic, affordable Amsterdam experience! - Extremely clean, in a quiet location, but very convenient for touring the city and environs with the included bikes. Lack of storage space
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Nathalie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. Beautiful home, great location and bikes.
- Christina (10/5): Great Experience - Lovely stay in a Dutch houseboat. The room is very nice, compact but clean, private, and well-designed. There are several storage options, a desk with chair, and a little kitchenette that has a sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, dishes, cutlery, and some basic supplies for making simple meals (no stove or oven). The bathroom had a hair dryer and a shower with great pressure and hot water. Internet worked well. The bed was very comfortable. Our stay was quiet, the houseboat is in a nice family neighborhood with a park nearby and a little playground at the end of the street (and not far from the gorgeous Vondelpark). The city center is a 20-minute bike ride away, and the nearest public transit station is a 12-minute walk from the accommodation. The booking includes free use of 2 bikes, which worked well for city riding and were easy to use. Kyung was a helpful and responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing, everything was great.
- Therac (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edita (9/5): Great houseboat - really wonderful feeling to experience a "dutch" life in houseboat. Good price. - Great houseboat - really wonderful feeling to experience a "dutch" life in houseboat. There is a little terrace with a bench, 2 chairs and table, so we had a nice breakfast there. 2 bikes available included. The room is big enough. Espresso coffee and tea for free. Good price in the very expensive city of Amsterdam! The location a bit out of the centre. Parking expensive as everywhere in Amsterdam. The host should explain the better options - we got know too late, that it is possible to park next to Olympia hotel cheaper if you have tram card. If you don't speak Dutch, it is very difficult to understand the rules. So we paid 40 EU/night X we could only 13 if we knew...!
- Mariya (9/5): Great value, friendly host, unique experience to stay on the canal! - the studio is spacious, stylish and clean. the area is very nice, public transport is not too far keep in mind that water around makes any noise louder - including parties around. however it wasn’t a big problem for me personally
- Θεόδωρος (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, and very nicely designed.
It had sunlight, witch is good,
Was on a very quiet family neighbor.
Although a little far from the center of the city, the owners lent me a bike and that brought the hole city closer to the studio.
Kitchen was good too although I didn't really use it.
The price was good as well.
Really nice relaxing place. I have no cons.
Totally recommend this place.
- Michael (10/5): A nice stay on a canal. - Staying on the canal. Plenty of room with lots of amenities. The shower was awesome. The location was not far from Olympic Hotel and the tram line 24 is only about a 5-10 minute walk. Easy check in and check out. Bike was available for use but I didn't have the time. Very quiet location. The location was a little inconvenient but not a deal breaker. For those that can walk or ride a bike it was not terribly bad.
- Jason (6/5): okay for a short period - I liked the location and the privacy. room is on ground floor. with the exception of midnight to approximately 7am there was constantly noise from upstairs.
