• Paula (9/5): Stort o mysigt rum med perfekt läge. - Supermysigt och välstädat rum med mycket trevlig värdinna. Centralen läge mitt i smeten men lugn på natten eftersom fönster är mot bakgård.

Ubytování se nachází přímo na jedno ze tří kanálů zapsaných do kulturního dědictví UNESCO, bary, restaurace, galerie, muzea - vše v dochozí vzdálenosti, stejně jako nástupy na lodě či trajekt. Neskutečně milá majitelka, snídaně naproti ve STACH kavárně s milou obsluhou. Mohu vřele doporučit.
• CAROLE (8/5): Très agréable séjour - La chambre est très belle et confortable. Très bien placée pour visiter Amsterdam à pied. Le quartier est typique. Les toilettes sur le palier même si nous sommes seuls à les utiliser. Incompréhension (liée à notre niveau d’anglais déplorable) sur la possibilité d’aller acheter dans une boutique de quoi déjeuner.

• Cheryl (10/5): An easy city to get around in and lots to see. Would definitely come back again. - It was beautiful, spacious, full of all kinds of nice little amenities, and our hostess was just fabulous and very helpful. We were right next to a street with wonderful restaurants, stores groceries and right on a canal. It was within walking distance of most anything you should want to see. The room is just as it looks, and our hostess is an artist and has decorated it very beautiful beautifully. All in all it was a wonderful experience. Nothing to comment on

• Brittany R (3/5): - It was nice to have a large room and it was pretty quiet. Let's start with location wasn't the bestlocation of Amsterdam. When I booked this, I put in the search to have absolutely no stairs as we had a lot of heavy luggage and my 70 yr old mother, there was steep wood stairs going up to the room. The layout was very odd. In the hallway is a bathroom with a toilet and sink that's not very private. Across the hallway, it door to the owners kitchen and main house and another door to the rented room. When you walk into the room it a open area with a shower and sink. The shower has no good water pressure, didn't feel clean, some scum/mold. Towels had a horrible smell to them and a long black hair on them, again a black hair in shower. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom, but you are not allowed to use them at all. They shouldn't be in pictures if they aren't available to use. There's a step in and out that we tripped on daily. It's not good for elderly. Next, the bedroom, while large it was the cleanest. Yet another black hair in the bed on the sheets. Not a lot of plugs in the room. No AC or fans. It was cold at night, and she had heater turned off. Bed wasn't horrible but very, very firm. Bedding had to have been 30+ years old, very 80s floral bedding. Not a lot of hanging space, and no view from the windows but get do open. My mom also lost a diamond earring, and from pictures, it looks like it was lost in the room. We asked about it once and got blown off. Asked twice, and she said she saw nothing. Who knows. Breakfast was an extra charge, not free like traditional bed and breakfasts. There was no fire extinguisher. The walls are very thin. Only instant coffee. Would we stay again? No. Do we recommend it? Only to younger people with lower expectations. If you're coming from America, this is not to our standards. If you're older, don't stay here.

• Christine (10/5): Perfect - The room was very spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, and the host was very friendly. In addition to a kettle, there was plenty of coffee and tea, some sweets, juice, wine, and the necessary cutlery. Comfortable toiletries, plenty of towels, and informational materials were also provided. The welcome was very warm and provided all the necessary information. The private entrance ensured complete privacy. The location is fantastic; there are many restaurants and shops nearby, and all the tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot or by public transportation, with the bus stop very close by. Despite this, the street directly in front of the house is quite quiet. The windows overlook the inner courtyard.
• Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Property was perfect, the owner is a fantastic lady, she is very welcoming, helpful and she’s a great artist. The paintings around the room are done by her and they are so good! The property is very well decorated and includes everything you need for a short stay in Amsterdam. We will definitely return to this accommodation, thank you so much, we loved it.

• Jayne (7/5): Great central Amsterdam city location, close to central train station, room with bathroom and toilet in beautifully reno - Location was the best, owner was hospitable, wine was nice bonus, very large bedroom with very comfortable king size bed in beautifully renovated house originally built centuries ago. Fridge & electric jug to make tea & instant coffee. Steep stairs to enter, toilet separate to bathroom with entry to upstairs in the middle, no power point in bathroom for hairdryer.
• Michael (8/5): Perfect location, comfy and spacious room but a bit dark. - Location was excellent. Walking distance to,all the sites of Amsterdam. The room was very large for Amsterdam. Comfy bed . Carla was very friendly and helpful. Quite dark as the 2 windows were quite small. Was supplied tea and coffee cups but no cloth or washing up liquid to wash them so couldn’t wipe the kitchen table down either. The room being large could use a small couch to sit on as there was only a bed or 2 kitchen chairs.

• Mark (7/5): - The property is very conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the central railway station and is close to a variety of bars, restaurants and shops. The property is quiet despite it being in the city centre. The room is very spacious with a large comfortable bed. The hosts gift of a bottle of wine in the room on arrival was a very nice thought. We stayed for 5 nights but during our stay the room wasn't serviced or cleaned. The bathroom and toilet are separate. The toilet is not en-suite and is accessed across a landing which isn't private. The bathroom, which is en-suite, contains the host's washing machine and tumble drier. The view from the room is not a "quiet street view" as claimed but is actually a view of a flat roof and the rear of adjacent buildings....the street is not visible at all. The room would benefit from some comfortable chairs as there are only dining style seats.....or the bed.
• Courtney (10/5): Great spot, will definitely be back when in the area! - A hidden gem, with a friendly and charming host. A very spacious, clean and comfortable room with large bathroom, coupled with a very nice king-size bed. Excellent location - close to Amsterdam Centraal and the centre of Amsterdam, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle that is a peaceful and relaxing neighborhood.
• Ik (8/5): Bonne adresse que je recommanderai volontiers - L'emplacement géographique idéal, la chambre spacieuse et très propre, le calme tout en étant en hyper centre, les petites attentions de l'hôte (thé, vin, jus de fruits, biscuits, articles de courtoisie dans la salle de bain). On se sent comme à la maison. Un deuxième oreiller pour chacun aurait été apprécié pour plus de confort. Le tableau en tête de lit est très beau mais ne permet pas d'être assis dans le lit pour se reposer ou même lire tout simplement.

This Bed and Breakfast does not provide a breakfast. 2. The room's toilet is accessed from the 1st floor hallway. Sink and shower were within the room's private area.
• Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is located in a typical small Dutch house in the center of Amsterdam, not far from the train station (10 min walk). The room was big and clean and very nicely decorated. Very quiet. the bed was comfortable. Carla, the owner, was very lovely and helpful. We liked everything!
• Keith (9/5): EXCELLENT - The owner was very friendly and approachable. room clean ,smart and comfortable , You basically have the place to yourself, which was an unexpected bonus. The place is set in an ideal situation for easy access to all the attraction, surrounded by local cafes , shop and bars. Easy walking distance from Amsterdam Central. Will defiantly use this B&B again. Nothing comes to mind THE STAY SPOT ON

Not heavily touristed but plenty of English menus. Excellent for wandering the canals. Laundromat round the corner. A couch or comfortable chair would have been nice.

Excellent location and everything we needed for a fantastic trip. The mattress could be comfier - we found it sunk a bit in the middle but otherwise comfy.

• Lisa (9/5): Arty and close to everything - Location was good and the bed was very comfortable. it took.us about 10 minutes to walk to the train station. and about the same to get to the Anne Frank Museum. There is a laundry mat right around the corner and lots of small restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. it was private and quire. When we couldn't get the heat on the host was immediately responsive and helpful. We had a gift of wine, cookies and distilled water when we arrived. the room was well equipped with coffee and tea. when I booked this I thought would have access to laundry as the machines are pictured. However they are not available for use even though they are in the space we occupied. This is noted in the description and but I missed it. We booked here so i would have access to laundry as we were away 3.5 weeks with only carry on luggage. So my only suggestion would be to cover them maybe with a small drape at least for the pictures to remove any confusion.

Cheaper than most hotels. Odd layout with laundry facilities placed in apartment but such not available for visitors. Toilet across a passageway. Old fashioned decor plus giant Buddhas in bedroom (eccentric?) Steep and narrow stairs for those with big or heavy cases.

• Catalin (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation was lovely, a spacious room, clean when we arrived and very stylish. We received a few goodies from the host, including wine, water, snacks and chocolate. The bathroom has two sinks, with plenty of room. During our stay, no cleaning was done, however we're usually very organized and we did not require additional cleaning. Plenty of towels were provided from the start, so the lack of room service did not affect us. The location is amazing, it's far enough from the touristic areas, yet close enough to the center. Every main attraction in the city is in walking distance (2 km at most - usually less). It's a quiet neighborhood, with supermarket across the road, a great cheese store nearby and lots of restaurants. The heating was great, considering the cold weather of April. And keep in mind that smoking inside is not allowed - this information may be relevant to you, since you're in Amsterdam. Overall i'd recommend this accommodation to anyone.

The accomodation has a quiet and private feel and is in perfect walking distance to main attractions + great food options. Carla is an incredible and kind hostess, she looked after us very well gave great recommendations for our stay. I cannot praise this BnB enough!

Carla kindly left wine, biscuits and apple juice as well as a selection of teas and water. 15 min walk to the centre only a small dislike is the toilet is in the hallway, this leads you past the family part of the property (whilst there is clouded glass there) we felt bad getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
