• Pooja (10/5): - Our stay at Flo's was for a special trip to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and it exceeded all expectations. Flo's apartment provides a large amount of space in comparison to other places to stay, whilst being amazing value for money. Every possible thing you may need has been well thought out, provided and done to a high standard, reflected in the product and appliances range... a place with personality! The location is perfect, a quiet neighbourly area which is perfect if you want to be away from the busy city area. There was range of choice for food and drink, including bars all within walking distance. My only suggestion would be the the viol separating the adjacent apartments could offer more privacy with the addition of adding an optional blackout for guests to use, especially in the evening - Albeit after meeting Flo and her son, we felt more comfortable. We took the recommendation for brunch at Moodys and it was great, lovely staff and welcoming - Which most places in Jordaan were including the people. I couldn't recommend the stay enough and would book again. I would also add that Flo was on hand and replied to whatsapps promptly and a big thank you to Flo and son for such a welcoming stay. We visited everywhere we would have liked, including Keukenhof.
• Sandra (10/5): Perfect weekend in Amsterdam - Whole layout and concept was amazing, felt at home immediately . Location excellent, 3 mins to tram or a 20 minute walk to more central areas with plenty of bars and cafes within a 5 minute walking distance. Owner Flo was very friendly and welcoming Very little. The stairs going in were steep which was ok for my group but may be worth mentioning as lesser able people would struggle and there is no lift.
• Monica (10/5): Live like the Dutch in this amazing apartment in Amsterdam - Everything was top notch from the host to the bedding. The location was central yet quiet and Flos art and design made it such a special and unique place. It was my 5 and 7 year olds favorite part of our trip.
• Ernest and Kathryn (8/5): Great for families, but not for the elderly - Lots of space - great for families. Kitchen and laundry facilities worked well. Flo even stocked the refrigerator upon request. While we could not get an early check-in, Flo locked up our luggage until our room was ready. Not enough safety features for the elderly. We knew about the steep stairs and Flo did carry our luggage upstairs. But, one flight of stairs has no handrails and the double bed has steps. Noise: Footsteps above us from 10 PM to 1 AM; churchbells that rang from 11 PM to midnight on Orthodox Easter.

• Kristen (10/5): Fabulous apartment for family or small group with all the comforts of home and great location - Lovely, spacious apartment with all the amenities you would need away from home. Flo is a warm and welcoming host and you can see that she put a lot of thought into decorating and furnishing the apartment to make it a comfortable stay for her guests. One of the big perks for us was the in unit washer and dryer that allowed us to pack for fewer days and get by with a carryon luggage - big plus when traveling in Europe and taking public transportation. Jordaan is a great area to stay - quiet but easy walk to Centre and apartment is short walk to tram stops. Nothing!

• Kimberly (10/5): Will absolutely try to book next time I’m in Amsterdam - A very comfortable place to stay. We loved the decor, the closeness to public transport, lots of great places to eat nearby. Beds were very comfortable too. Flo met us at the property to show us around and it was nice to have a warm greeting upon arrival after a long flight from USA.
• Roshan (10/5): Comfortable - The property was in an excellent location and was very well designed for a family of four. The sleeping arrangements were cute and catering facilities were top notch. Flo greeted us when we arrived and explained everything and was available for any issues. We had a great time and would definitely visit again.

Location was awesome, short walk to the tram stops and a ton of good food around. Don't miss out the street market if you're there on the weekend. Flo was most warm and hospitable, from the time of booking to the time we left. There was nothing not to like! However, do note that there is a fairly steep flight of stairs (as expected) to the first floor in case you're travelling with a lot of luggage.

• Nancy (10/5): This is a wonderful apartment, spacious, light, bright and well appointed. - Flo has created an amazing space for her guests. We were there for five nights and it was hard to say goodbye. The apartment is huge with everything you could want. I have to say even the hairdryer was a plus plus. Other guests have mentioned the shower and I can promise you, you’ll love it too. The apartment is located in a great location. Grocery stores, wine shops, pharmacies, loads of restaurants are in the neighborhood. Flo has added a library with reference books or novels to read plus lots of games if that’s your thing. She has top-notch products in the bathroom. There are so many places to spread out and relax. And there’s a QR code which enables you to download an app which gives so much great information about the city & the neighborhood. The app even referenced a tourist doctor that we needed to visit via telemed. This was such a wonderful place for us to stay and I highly recommend it. The staircase leading up to the first floor apartment is challenging for those (us) with heavy suitcases. Flo was nice enough to help us. Once you’ve accomplished that, you are home free!

Flo is an outstanding host, and arriving at her accomodation is like going to visit a friend in a new city. She is so welcoming and available to help with anything. The decor of the flat is very fun, artistic, and comfortable. It is literally the best apartment we have ever rented as vacation travelers! I cannot say enough good things about Flo's Atelier! Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be repeat guests on our next visit to Amsterdam. Literally nothing. I will say that if you are looking for total silence then this might not be for you as there is a shared wall with Flo's own home. Nevertheless, we had total privacy and were not at all bothered by hearing her and her son next door.

• Debbie (10/5): Great location and a friendly welcome - Spacious apartment, in a great area, just around the corner are a selection of restaurants and cafés, walking distance from the station and all the main attractions. Flo was very welcoming and provided some local tips such as bike hire, coffee shops and restaurants there was also a selection of teas coffee's and toiletries available for us to use. Nothing we had such a great stay, the apartment exceeded our expectations

Think it would suit younger families with kids more than older types. - This is a fabulous apartment in a great location. 20mins to the centre and the area itself is lovely with great restaurants/bars not touristy. The photos on the website are accurate. Great facilities, spotless and fab, quirky decor. Comfy beds, great shower. Flo was there to meet us and answered questions we had, she's a lovely lady and very welcoming. She provided some refreshments as we arrived very late which was very kind, nothing seemed too much trouble. We were very relaxed there and pleased we chose this place. It didn't put us off at all but there is a only a sliding door and thin curtain separating this apartment and the owners residence. Didn't bother us but it may some people as perhaps not as private as some may like. The double bed in the cabin like room is very comfy but not the easiest to get in and out of especially for the one sleeping by the wall as you need to climb over the other person to get out the bed and it's quite high but there is a little step to help. Again no issue for us but if you both need easy access to the loo in the night it could be an issue.

• Randi (10/5): I would absolutely stay again! - Flo and her family were very welcoming and the apartment had wonderfully thoughtful amenities. It was the sort of place that whenever you wished you had something to make you fee comfortable, you would turn and find it there. It is obvious Flo wants her guests to feel pampered and comfortable. The apartment was very clean. The location was easily reached by public transit or walking and located in an neighborhood rather than tourist area. There was no street noise to be heard. There are 4 comfy bunk beds that can easily fit adults and one (a bit lofted) full bed in the little house section. The only thing to note is the apartment is separated from Flo's home by a sliding glass door covered by a curtain. Privacy was not an issue, however, because we were traveling and retired early there was some noise from their apartment which could be heard as we relaxed in our space. Additionally, as is typical, there are one flight of pretty steeps stairs to enter the apartment which would be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

• Lesley (9/5): Well equipped artist's loft in a perfect location - Lovely flat with many creative details. This is an unusual place and we loved it. Nice shower room, well equipped kitchen, quality bedding. Flo was a great host and the location is perfect, many restaurants and bars in walking distance. The sleeping arrangements are a 4 bunk beds and a double in a cabin-like room off the kitchen. All very comfortable but maybe not for those looking for a more traditional accommodation.

The location was perfect for us and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was amazing! Bathroom door has warped and was hard to close but Flo pointed that out when we arrived. We did hear a bit of noise from Flo's own apartment but that was actually rather nice as it felt like we had someone there if needed but had our own space.

The apartment was bright and airy and fully stocked. Very comfortable. The location was great for walking to several popular sites in Amsterdam. I cannot think of any improvements needed.

The facilities were clean, and top notch, and it probably offers the best shower I have come across. Flo is very responsive, and was a joy to interact with. • Olivia (10/5): Amsterdam vibe - Flo was there to greet us upon arrival. She showed us around the place and provided a lot of things to do around the area. Loved how spacious the place was. Location was amazing. Not too far from the district and when you're done partying, you get to come back to the peaceful side of things lol. No complaints.
• Lucy (10/5): Wonderful, perfect, a fantastic base from which to explore - Flo’s is fabulous, big sofa area, fantastic huge window facing onto a lovely view of the canal. We loved the decor : so cool plus everything is really well stocked and thought through from the lavender sachets under our pillows to the selection of teas… plus you are just round the corner from great bars and restaurants and a short walk right into the centre. One of the bunk beds has slightly restricted head height.
• Tara (9/5): Eclectic, bright, roomy space - Great space for family. King bed in separate space & then 4 bunks. Sitting area, tv area & full kitchen. Was approximately 3-4 blocks from busier area. Quieter location, more locals. Was not problem for us, but there is a set of quite steep stairs to the front door. Awkward with heavy large luggage.

I wish we had more time and I wish we knew people in Amsterdam to invite them over to play the games. :)

• Ellen (8/5): Eclectic rental in the Jordaan - Very well -appointed and spacious 1. Unit isn't really a private/separate unit as there's a glass door to the host's flat with a very sheer curtain, and a host that is in unit. 2. Host's insistence that we pay an additional on 300euros in cash in advance in order to even enter the unit on our travel day to Amsterdam, even though we already fully paid a rather high rental price in advance for 2 adults to sleep in a child's playhouse. The additional fee was assessed when we indicated we might have an additional 2 responsible adults (who were flying standby) join us for 2 nights in 2 of the 4 extra bunk beds in the unit. The upcharge seemed disproportionate and was unwelcome on on an already pricy unit for 2 adults . Moreover the host's suggestion that we were trying to break Dutch laws was offensive and inaccurate to say the least. The demand for an additional 300 euro cash payment in order to even enter was particularly unwelcome on an already stressful travel day.

• Devina (9/5): Great place, good value, lovely decoration and fully loaded amenities. - Very clean, well decorated, and full of little things you don't get in other places like converter for charger, lavender perfume under your pillow, well known brand soap and shampoo. Plus lots of things for kids to play with just in case it's raining outside. since it's a condo in a residential building, we have to be very careful not to make too much noises, which sometimes is hard to control when you have younger kids in your party. Also place should be big enough for more than 4 people but again since it's a residential building, it's not allowed to book for more than 4, so we need to split our party into 3 different hotels.
• Ellen (9/5): We would definitely stay at Flo’s place again. - Excellent location, spacious, and super clean. Loved having a washer and dryer and a kitchen. Plenty of good coffee/ tea provided. Flo's space was attached, divided by a glass door and light curtains. This didn’t bother us but might for others. More towels and silverware would have been nice. One bathroom was sometimes difficult but we knew the place only had one bathroom when we booked it. A full length mirror outside of the bathroom would have helped.
• Whitney (10/5): Exceptional - Flo's place is absolutely wonderful. The location is superb! It is located in a very quaint and quiet neighborhood and just a 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam if that excites you. We preferred the quiet streets lined with wonderful restaurants, pastry shops and cute boutiques over the touristy area near the Dam square. We were always so thankful to get out of those crowds and return back "home". Flo has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. She is attentive and helpful and made us feel at home. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We hope to return again soon.
