• James (9/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - Lots of nice things already posted about this apartment and they're all true. Great location - close to restaurants, shops, public transport. Lovely vibe in the neighbourhood. The apartment is quite spacious (by Amsterdam standards), comfy, very clean and well equipped. Highly recommend!
• Rhea (8/5): Comfortable, clean stay in a cool area - Cool space, comfy, everything that you would need is provided. It was quite loud from above, which was the only downside. Just as a preference though, some mood lighting and some more colour on the walls would make it feel a bit cosier. But otherwise it was lovely!

La anfitriona, propietaria del apartamento, es sumamente amable; nos permitió guardar nuestro equipaje el primer día, ya que llegamos demasiado temprano para realizar el registro de entrada, y el último día de nuestra estancia, como nuestro vuelo salía muy tarde, también nos permitió guardar el equipaje. Está muy atenta a todos los detalles para que sus huéspedes se sientan cómodos. El baño y la ducha se encuentran en una de las habitaciones, lo cual puede resultar un tanto incómodo para la persona que ocupe dicha habitación, dado que solo se dispone de un cuarto de baño y ducha. Pero de resto todo genial.

It’s clean, comfortable and hostess has thought of every detail a guest might need, like enough coffee, sugar, bath towels, toilet paper, blankets for cold nights. It’s located near public transportation; bus, tram, taxi. Restaurants and cafes nearby. Easy access from central station as well. Not a thing!

• Willemijn (9/5): Fijne plek op toplocatie! - Toplocatie in Haarlemmerbuurt. S nachts en morgens rustig op straat waardoor je goed kunt slapen. Fijn verblijf. We kwamen er later achter dat er boven een lange spiegel was. Evt beneden nog een extra spiegel
• Lies (9/5): - De locatie is super! In een leuke en rustige buurt. Op wandelafstand van centraal station en centrum. De gastvrouw is heel behulpzaam en communiceert vlot. De inrichting is echt leuk en zeer praktisch. Misschien 1 iets: als je ´s nachts naar het toilet gaat dan stap je langs het bed van wie beneden slaapt en zo kun je hen storen.

• Linda (9/5): Fijn en prettig, schoon en vriendelijk. - Ontvangst is zeer vriendelijk en alles is te overleggen. Het is een mooie, schone B&B, alles is aanwezig. We hebben daar heerlijk geslapen met ons gezin, ( 2 kinderen van 14 en 11 jaar). De stad ligt op loopafstand. Echt een super klein detail, beetje sfeerverlichting in de woonkamer. Verder echt fantastisch!

Gut eingerichtete kleine Küche, alle Läden (Supermarkt, Bäcker, Metzger) mit wenigen Schritten erreichbar.Nette Gastgeberin. Es war alles perfekt!

• Mª Teresa (9/5): Apartamento bien situado. Limpieza genial y buena anfitriona. - La limpieza genial. Apartamento no muy grande pero bien situado. Mi opinión es de 4 personas, dos adultos y nuestros hijos de 18 y 14 años. Con niños pequeños la escalera sin barandilla y la cama de arriba que era muy alta, quizá puede ser un problema, pero vamos, abajo hay dos camas junto al baño, que además tienen puerta corredera que permite que no entre la luz por la mañana. La luz entraba por la puerta que es de cristal pero tiene unas cortinas que aislan muy bien de la luz. Había cápsulas de café que se agradecieron. La anfitriona nos permitió dejar las maletas antes de la hora estipulada.

We understood the reason for this when we opened a door we saw inside. When we opened the door that was not locked, we saw that there was a workshop next to us.Behind a wooden wall.Without a unlocked door. So we rent another room too for trip.Didn’t use there for sleep.Only for rest

Netflix available too although there is so much to see and do y oh probably won’t have time to use it. Curtains somewhat hard to open and close, as heavy. Very minor things that did not impact how we felt about our stay.

• Lisa (8/5): Even though there were these issues above, we were perfectly happy there. - Great location and cleanliness of the room. We were only in Amsterdam for the second time on the back end of our trip but this apartment was in a very cool part of the city and only 5 minutes drive from the train station. Check-in and out was very easy. It was basic but we didn't need anything more. The stairs from the loft to the main part of the apartment could be a bit treacherous for some people because there was no hand rail on one side and a pretty significant drop if you missed a step getting up in the middle of the night. One thing that we have noticed in Amsterdam from our previous stay is that there can be a sewage smell from the bathrooms (Amsterdam is right at sea level), and although we didn't notice this from the toilet room, the shower room definitely had this smell. It seems like this is a problem for many ground or sub ground floor dwellings. Also, the toilet room could use a highlight at the level of the one stair up to the toilet. One can easily miss this because it is all painted black. The wifi was not great. We had to disconnect a few of our devices for one person to be able to use it.
• Laura (10/5): A perfect apartment with a wonderful host! - Greet's apartment was wonderful! As soon as we walked in we felt at home. It was cosy, clean and beautifully designed. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was in excellent condition. It was perfect for what we needed on our short break, being only a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station and in a great location for shops, restaurants and getting into the centre of town. Greet popped by to say hello on our second day and made us feel so welcome and at home. Would definitely come back to stay here next time I'm in Amsterdam - thanks Greet! :) No complaints :)

We were welcomed in to drop our bags off early then when we came back later we were blown away with the place was a stunning home base to travel from local to some really nice cafes and bars not to mention the local food. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice and powerful, WiFi was pretty good and the kitchen was a nice touch. Highly recommended for a group of friends looking for somewhere special to stay.

The place is very cozy with all the necessities you need. The bathroom ventilation was broken and when you bath, mist gathers everywhere in the bathroom. Also, the bathroom does not have a proper gliding door, so when you are bathing, water splashes everywhere. We felt the place lacks ventilation, we had to open the door to get fresh air from outside.

The apartment was lovely with bright and nice interior. It had great kitchen facilities, and the bathroom and showering area was also very nice. The only thing we noticed that could have been better was the wifi connection. Additionally, the small tv in the downstairs sleeping area was not functioning, but I'm sure the host would have fixed this if we would have asked!

Communication from the host was brilliant. It was a little noisy - we could hear footsteps on the upper floors of the property in the early hours of the morning.

She let us enter a bit earlier and she let us leave our laggage there more than we paid. The appartment had everything needed, inside, a very good location, near various markets, aroudn 20min from the center (walking distance), in a nice area/neighbourhood. The bathroom was so close the (one of 2) double bed, thus... it was not so easy to visit it with privacy. Otherwise, the house was very cute.
